Porsche unveiled the ultimate track-oriented RS iteration of the 991 GT3 at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, featuring new lightweight bodywork and aggressive aerodynamics along with rear-axle steering, Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV+), and a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine producing 500 HP. This 2016 example comes finished in Ultraviolet over a Black and GT Silver leather & Alcantara interior. It was generously optioned with several additional Alacnatara trim pieces, Sound Package Plus, Sport Chrono Package, front axle lift system, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation, wheels painted silver, an extended range fuel tank, and much more. Showing just under 13k miles on the odometer, this GT3 RS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas.
This example was ordered in the striking non-metallic shade of Ultraviolet, a new launch color for the 2016 GT3 RS. Compared to the standard 991 GT3, the RS version features a lightweight magnesium roof panel, a large fixed rear wing, and wider fenders with louvered front vents and Turbo-style side air intakes. Optional details include painted headlight cleaning system covers, lower SportDesign mirror trim in High Gloss Black, 20”/21” GT3 RS wheels painted in Silver, yellow ceramic brakes, and LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS). The seller adds that paint protection film has been applied to the full exterior and some minor chips are present. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The driver-focused cabin presents Black leather and Alcantara upholstery accented by GT Silver deviated stitching and carbon fiber trim. The optional extended interior package adds additional leather and Alcantara along the door panels. Other options include seat belts in Racing Yellow, a Porsche-crested storage compartment lid in Alcantara, sun visors in Alcantara, illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber, belt outlet trim in Alcantara, the Light Design Package, Sound Package Plus, the Sport Chrono Package, and a fire extinguisher. Additional amenities consist of Porsche Communication Management including a navigation module, Online Services, a telephone module, SiriusXM Satellite Radio & HD Radio Receiver, floor mats, auto-dimming mirrors with integrated rain sensors, and a fuel cap with an aluminum-look finish. The seller adds that a rear harness bar has been fitted.
The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine revs up to 9k-RPM while sending up to 500 HP and 338 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels. Equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission, the GT3 RS reaches 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 3 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. Standard performance features include rear-axle steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus). Optional equipment includes the front axle lift system, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), and an extended-range fuel tank. The seller adds that a muffler delete was performed and the last service was completed on 1/10/2024 including an oil change. Additionally, the CARFAX report shows a total of 24 service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title and owner’s manuals.
The seller would like you to know: “This example has been covered in full paint protection film and is accompanied by a clean CARFAX report.”

This is cheap. If I hadn't just purchased the same car less than a year ago, I'd be all over this.

@ racercmc Yes the original exhaust will come with the car.
@TheMarkMotors okay, wasn’t sure if it transferred. Thanks, is the original exhaust included?
@ racercmc when an independent store buys a CPO car it is no longer valid. This car will not come with CPO.
More info on the CPO from being sold in Utah? Is that still valid, or when does it expire?

@TheMarkMotors
Any paint work?
Thanks
@R_R8T3D Full PPF on the entire car.
Any PPF on the car? If so what parts? I see some ceramic coating was done years ago.

@themarkmotors Damn. I knew it wasn't 9000. Now I really hope nobody cares :)
@cjspeake Thanks for pointing out, but we were both wrong. The normal GT3 has a 9,000 RPM Redline and the GT3RS has a 8,800 RPM Redline according to Porsche.
Probably nobody cares, but the redline in this purple beast is 8600 RPM, not 9000. Still sounds pretty good though ;-)
