We are pleased to present this 2016 Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 finished in Racing Yellow over a black leather and Alcantara interior. Powered by a mid-mounted 3.8L flat-six derived from the Carrera S, the GT4 is regarded as one of Porsche’s ultimate track-oriented models with an exhilarating six-speed manual transmission and suspension components shared with the GT3. This 2016 example is said to have never been tracked and features factory optioned Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes (PCCB), carbon fiber full bucket seats, and deviated interior stitching in Racing Yellow. With an original sticker price of just under $110k and only 16k miles shown on the odometer, this GT4 is now offered for auction by its owner out of East Amherst, NY.
The signature Racing Yellow finish is reported to be in excellent condition. CARFAX shows minor damage to the front end in 2018 which is said to have been purely cosmetic and resulted in the refinishing of the front bumper from a certified repair shop (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Features unique to the GT4 include an aggressive fixed rear wing, a revised front splitter, and enlarged air intakes—all of which contribute to the car’s impressive performance characteristics. This particular example also features yellow brake calipers included with the optional Porsche Carbon Ceramic Brakes (PCCB). It retains stock 20” GT4 wheels finished in Platinum Satin and dressed in healthy Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Some slight curb rash is indicated on the driver’s side front rim.
Inside, you will find a black leather and Alcantara interior that’s said to be in very nice shape with only minor wear on the Alcantara steering wheel. A roll bar has been added along with racing harnesses, although this 981 is said to have never seen track use. A list of factory options can be found below:
Positioned directly behind the is a mid-mounted 3.8L flat-six engine that produces 385HP and 309 lb.-ft of torque. A smooth 6-speed manual transmission sends power to the rear wheels allowing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4 seconds. The factory PCCB composite rotors have been swapped out in favor of aftermarket slotted floating rotors and new brake pads are said to have been installed earlier in 2020. All scheduled service is said to be up to date and a CARFAX report is provided for reference in the photo gallery.
This sale will include a clean title. Don’t miss your chance to own one of Porsche’s finest track-oriented vehicles.

@ZStephen thank you for the clarity
@msandford74 They are not.
Seller, I did not see a answer to the question on the rotors. Are the pccb rotors included in the sale?
A DME report has been added to the listing gallery.
Bid in the amount of $51,000
I agree with others that this car has been tracked. That said, track time for a GT4 is not necessarily a bad thing. Just be sure that you are happy with all of the info you have before buying.
DME would be helpful. Pictures show front bumper alignment issues. And who puts slotted rotors cage and pads without tracking? Really?
@TheStartingLine I am currently working on getting a DME report now.
@Angelny911 No problem whatsoever. This car has an absolute perfect alignment!
Thank you for the comments and bids!
The car is currently located just outside of Buffalo, New York. Conveniently 10 minutes from the Buffalo Airport and about 20 minutes from Niagara Falls. I welcome any inspections. Please contact me directly for any detailed questions you might have on the vehicle!
There is something wrong with your comments. This car has clearly been tracked and probably quite a bit. You will note that the rotors have been changed from Ceramic to Steel. Who does that for street driving. Also based on the spotting on the rotors, they we not bedded correctly. Buyer beware.
Nice car.
Why all the track modification (roll bar, harness) and not track it? They are built for it.
Are the original PCCB brake rotors included in the sale?

Seems to be some problem from the beginning with suspensions or driving issue ,has anything been address and any info on front damage from accident ?
Great looking car and spec. Can you please add a copy of the DME/overrev report?
