Introduced in 2015 as the highest-performing Cayman yet, the 981-generation GT4 boasts distinctive aerodynamic enhancements, upgraded brakes, lowered PASM suspension, and a 3.8-liter engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. This 2016 example is finished in GT Silver Metallic over a Black leather interior with Guards Red stitching and equips optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), bi-xenon headlights in Black with the Porsche Dynamic Light System, full bucket seats, Alcantara accents, and the Interior Package Painted. It has also been modified with a Cobb Stage 1 engine tune, Demann Motorsports custom tubular headers, Fabspeed Valvetronic cat-back exhaust with carbon fiber tips, Rennline accessories, an RSS harness bar, and more. With approximately 7k miles showing on the odometer, this GT4 is now being offered for auction out of Florida.
This example is finished in GT Silver Metallic and features optional painted headlight cleaning system covers, bi-xenon headlamps in Black with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), and yellow ceramic brake calipers. It rides on factory 20” GT4 wheels in black mounted with new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Modifications include clear side markers, Rennline Front and Rear folding tow hooks, RSNV rear wing risers, and a paint protection film application. The seller notes two slight imperfections in the film, which have not reached the paint. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Included in the sale is an extra set of satin black forged wheels, 20x8.5" with 245/35ZR-20 Goodyear Eagle Supercar 3 tires in the front and 20x11" with 295/30ZR-20 tires in the rear, with approximately 40% tread remaining.
The cabin presents Black leather upholstery complemented by Guards Red deviated stitching and seatbelts. It features optional full bucket seats, the Interior Package Painted, a painted center console, the Light Design Package, dual-zone automatic climate control, the storage compartment lid in Alcantara with a Porsche logo, and sun visors in Alcantara. Modifications include an RSS harness bar powder-coated in black, a Schroth 6-point Enduro Red harness for the driver, a Schroth 4-point Enduro Red harness for the passenger, and bucket seat bolster protectors for both seats. The Sport Chrono Package and an extended-range fuel tank (16.91 gal) were also opted for.
Powered by a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine from the 911 Carrera S, the GT4 delivers 385 HP and 309 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential with Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV). This example was further optioned with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). It also features extensive modifications, including a DSC Sport Controller, Cobb Accessport with Stage 1 tune, Demann Motorsports custom tubular header with high-flow 200 CEL cats, Fabspeed Valvetronic cat-back exhaust with carbon fiber tips, BMC air filters, and a Rennline rear subframe stabilizer, front tie downs, and jack plate set.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a window sticker, sales literature, and an extra set of wheels and tires.
The seller would like you to know: “Thanks for taking a look at my auction. I bought this car with the intention of continuing my hobby as a PCA driving instructor two years ago and only tracked the car one time due to other interests. The car has been kept in my garage 24/7 except for my once-a-week rides around town. The car gets tons of compliments from Porsche enthusiasts around town. This is a great opportunity to own a lightly tracked car that has been well cared for. It is ready for the track or to be added to your collection as one of the original-year GT4s out there!”

@ChadGee Thank you, so much, for the nice complement on my car. It truly is a beautiful car. The report was run on a Autel maxi scanner. Unfortunately the copy of the report is at work and we are at home due to the approaching storm. I can try to find if I scanned and emailed it but not sure. I will assure you that all areas say “pass”.

Beautiful car. Following up on @bculberson 's questions, can you please let us know what ppf the car has and can you post a DME report?
Thank you!

@cfield The factory seatbelts are still installed and fully operational. Currently installed is the black 6 point harness. I did this because PCA HPDE rules state that restraints much be the same for driver and passenger. I also have the 4 point which can easily be reinstalled. I just wanted to show the 6 point in case there were PCA folks considering purchasing. I also have two extra metal buckles so when you are using the 6 points you can plug them in to stop the fasten seatbelt warning.
@cfield Thank you for reaching out. Yes, that service was done when it was originally announced by a previous owner. When I purchased the car I had the same question and confirmed with the dealer that they would not have CPO’d it if that service was not done. Great question and we should probably add to our narrative.
Does this car have the original transmission or was the third gear failure technical bulletin fixed?

Thanks, that's a beautiful car!
Please clarify what harness the passenger seat has. The ad says 4-point red Schroth, but the pictures show a 6-point black Racetech harness. Can you still use the factory retractable seat belt? Thanks.
is the ppf on the entire car?
do you have a dme report?
