We are pleased to offer this 2016 Porsche 981 Cayman GT4 finished in Racing Yellow over a black leather and Alcantara interior with deviated stitching in Racing Yellow. This launch-year GT4 came generously optioned with a suite of creature comforts as well as the Carbon Fiber Interior Package, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), the Sport Chrono Package, Satin Black wheels, and illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber. Remaining under the care of its second owner in New York, this GT4 is now being offered for auction showing approximately 14k miles on the odometer.
This GT4 sports its debut color of Racing Yellow with matching brake calipers, optional wing supports in black, and wheels painted in Satin Black. Clear 3M paint protection film preserves the full exterior and the seller notes the car has seen only four days of track use for professional driving instruction. The current tires are in need of replacement and the seller has offered to mount a set of new tires of the buyer’s choice prior to delivery. Several small imperfections are depicted in the removable clear film, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior features premium black leather and Alcantara upholstery contrasted by Racing Yellow stitching and optional carbon fiber trim. Other optional details include center console trim in carbon fiber, illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber, carbon fiber floor mats with leather edging, and a steering wheel 12 o’clock marking in yellow. Racing Yellow seatbelts were dealer-installed after delivery and the seller reports wear to the driver-side floor mat. A complete list of equipment is provided below:
The first-generation Cayman GT4 carries a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six engine derived from the Carrera S, producing as much as 385 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), and active transmission mounts. Optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) are equipped for superior stopping power, and the GT4 comes standard with lowered Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) including a GT3-derived front end. A factory transmission recall was completed under warranty by a Porsche dealer at approximately 3,500 miles, and the seller reports the car has been maintained by F.A.S.T Auto Racing of Maspeth, New York throughout their ownership.
This sale will include a battery charger and a clean title. One of the most critically acclaimed Porsches of the last decade, the GT4 remains a favorite among enthusiasts and professional drivers alike. This very nicely appointed 2016 example awaits its next owner, do not miss out.

@smlobx Thank you. I agree with your assessment. These cars handle amazing for a street car.
During a track day I pulled 1.6G's on really old street tires. That's pretty damn good in anyone's book. I race a TA2 car in the Pirelli Trans Am series so I have a pretty good comparison between a street car and a race car and this is about as good as it gets for this kind of money.
I bought a 981 Spyder here on pcarmarket a few months ago and I have to say these cars are absolutely amazing. All the analog power and handling you could ever want short of a fully caged race car.
Comfortable and very quick…what a combination!
GLWTA!

@Bela I apologize the car does have cruise control. It's nothing I've ever used do didn't know. I see it on the window sticker. You can see it in the pictures below.
@Bela Yes, thats what I said previously, it's expired. Of course anything emissions related is covered for 80,000 by law.
GPS, yes. Cruise control I don't think is am option on any manual transmission
I was under the impression that the factory warranty is only for 4 yrs
Also does the car have GPS and cruise control?
@PCARMARKET_MODERATOR Walkaround video appears to be missing. Thank you
Additional content has been added to the listing gallery.
@Bela It appears that the factory warranty is 4 years or 50,000 miles so it's expired.
Sorry, how long is the factory warranty?
@sharkyp DME Overrev report has been uploaded. Not sure how long it takes for them to post to but there were zero overrevs in ranges 2-6. There were 839 in range one which is an indication of just touching the rev limiter and completely innocuous.
Undercarriage photos and walkaround video also uploaded. I assume pending the admin adding them.
@Bela I haven’t taken any extended warranty but I would assume the balance of the factory warranty would be in effect as if there is no change in ownership
Does it come with extended warranty?
@sharkyp First time I've heard of a DME report. I had to Google it! Let me see if my shop can produce it otherwise I'll have to try to get it to the dealer.
Undercarriage pics shouldn't be a big deal. Let me see what I can get done this weekend.
Beautiful car. Will you provide DME report and pics of undercarriage? @TransAmTA2
@robmsales Not a rock chip. Only the 3M film has the imperfection. No paint chips at all on the car.
@TransAmTA2- I see these too- the #18 with the mirror looks like a rock road hit-Thanks a lot
@robmsales Yes- there is some blemishes in those but if you look at 18 (mirror) you'll see a little bubble in the film. Also- at the body seam in #28 you'll see a little dirt at the edge of the film. Nothing crazy and many might not ever notice it but I like to be fully transparent.
TransAmTA2- Are you talking about photo's 16 and 20
Are there any more pictures you saw that we should be checking out?
Thanks a lot, Rob

There are a few blemishes in various photos. I want to clarify that the paint is perfect on this car and what you see is a blemish in the paint protection film.
