Introduced as the ultimate track-focused version of Porsche’s highly-acclaimed Cayman sports car, the GT4 offers aggressive aerodynamics, high-performance suspension, and a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. This first-year 2016 example also showcases desirable options including Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), the Sport Chrono Package, Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, extended leather trim, the Carbon Fiber Interior Package, seatbelts in Guards Red, and much more. Remaining under the care of its original owner, this GT4 is accompanied by the remainder of an extended warranty and is now being offered for auction out of Texas with just under 5k miles showing on the odometer.
This GT4 comes finished in nonmetallic White and features optional wing supports in black, deviated headlight cleaner covers, and 20” GT4 wheels painted in Satin Black. The GT4 can be distinguished from the standard Cayman by its enlarged side intake scoops, revised fascias, front splitter, and rear wing. The finish on this example has been preserved with a layer of clear paint protection film over the front end and mirror housings, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The front tires are original, and the rears are reported to have been mounted within the last 800 miles.
This Cayman GT4 showcases a beautifully appointed black leather and Alcantara interior with deviated Guards Red stitching along with the Carbon Fiber Interior Package and extended leather trim throughout the dashboard and door panels. Details from Porsche’s Exclusive Department include center console trim in carbon fiber, illuminated door sill guards in carbon fiber, a storage compartment lid in Alcantara with Porsche crest, a gear lever in brushed aluminum, seatbelts in Guards Red, and sun visors, instrument surround, and inner door sills in leather. This first-generation GT4 boasts a naturally aspirated 3.8L flat-six engine derived from the 991 Carrera S. As much as 385 HP and 309 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission, making for a 0-60 time of approximately 4 seconds and a top speed north of 180 MPH. In addition to its GT3 derived front suspension and steering rack, the GT4 features revised aerodynamic components which help to produce up to 220 lbs. of downforce at speed. Optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) offer superior fade-resistant stopping power while the Sport Chrono Package with Porsche Track Precision App allows the driver to log performance data. The seller notes that the car has had a single service through Porsche of Plano and that an extended 5-year warranty was purchased in October of 2019 and may be transferred to the next owner.
