This 2016 Porsche 981 Cayman is finished in Agate Grey Metallic over a Black interior and features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its naturally aspirated 2.7-liter flat-six engine. It was sold new by Carlsen Porsche of San Francisco and came factory-equipped with optional Sport Suspension, Sport Tailpipes, the Infotainment Package with Sound Package Plus, the Convenience Package, ParkAssist, bi-xenon headlights with PDLS, tinted taillights, and 19” Cayman S wheels in black. Purchased by the seller from their sister, the original owner, in 2016, this Cayman is now being offered for auction out of California with approximately 27k miles showing on the odometer.
Finished in Agate Grey Metallic, the exterior features optional bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), heated power mirrors, parking sensors, side air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, optional tinted taillights, and optional dual center-mounted Sport Tailpipes. The car rides on optional 19” Cayman S wheels in black with new Pirelli P Zero tires mounted within the last 200 miles. The seller notes minor cosmetic imperfections on the front end, a touched-up scrape on the lower driver’s side rocker panel, a quarter-sized paint blemish on the hood, and a small scuff on the windshield. The Black interior is accented by bright silver trim pieces and features heated 2-way power sport seats, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation, and Sound Package Plus. The seller indicates the cabin is in excellent condition, apart from minor wear on the lower seat bolsters and scuffs on the driver’s door sill.
Factory-rated at 275 HP and 214 lb-ft of torque, the 2.7-liter flat-six engine features VarioCam Plus variable valve timing, integrated dry sump lubrication, and a resonance intake manifold. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle, and stopping is handled by fixed 4-piston aluminum brakes at each corner. This Cayman features the optional Sport Suspension (X73) package, which includes stiffer shocks, springs, sway bars, and a 20mm lowered ride height. The CARFAX report shows an oil change was completed in November 2024, and the seller states new K&N air filters have been installed.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, and a clean title.

Second owner car purchased from my sister in 2018 when she moved residences. Used as an occasional weekend car, always garaged, and native to California since new. $1,800 spent recently in brand new Pirelli P Zero tires (less than 200 miles). Hood has a minor bird dropping blemish as seen in photos, and the bottom of the driver’s side rocker has 8” retouched curb rash from 2 years ago when I eased around a corner too close to the curb at a drive-thru. All books, keys, records, and the original window sticker are present. Service is up to date minus a brake fluid change that is probably in order due to time. Selling to buy a vintage 911.”

@79Alfetta yes happy to post. Last time I had it at the dealer was at 21,547 miles. An independent shop did oil service last at 23,884 miles, replaced battery and brakes checked out Green status during full inspection. It is due for 30K service according to Porsche but I declined at the dealer as I felt the only necessity was a brake fluid flush due to time.
@GeorgeD33 yes I have ALL service records for the vehicle since new.
@Gthopefull hello the windshield “scuff” is about the size of a pencil eraser and I just noticed it so Im not even sure when it occurred. Looking at it closely, it does not appear as a chip or crack so based on my prior experience with these, i believe a mobile windshield repair could put a filler on it but it may not be worth the effort due to its size and location. Clutch is Fabtastic and brakes have plenty of life. This car has never been driven hard and I am a lifeling manual transmission guy there has never been and misuse of clutch or brakes.
Could you please post any Porsche dealer service records (in addition to the one from Newport Porsche)? Was the 10k and 20k service done other than oil changes? Thanks

Regarding the “scuff” on the windshield is this something that could repaired, is it a rock chip?
Also, what is the condition of the clutch, brakes/brake pads?
Just want to get a sense of wear and tear/ maintenance.
