The 2016 model year saw the introduction of a new RS variant of the 991 GT3 featuring more aggressive bodywork and a 4.0-liter flat-six engine generating 500 HP. This example is finished in Ultraviolet over a Black leather and Alcantara interior with GT Silver accents. It was configured at an original sticker price of over $196k including optional Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), Sport Chrono Package, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, Bi-Xenon headlights in Black, instrument dials in White, and wheels painted in Satin Black. It has also been customized with a Fabspeed exhaust system, 991.2-style graphics, clear taillights, and yellow seatbelts. Recently serviced and with approximately 11k miles showing on the odometer, this GT3 RS is now being offered for auction out of Arizona.

The GT3 RS features wide rear fenders with integrated side air intakes derived from the 911 Turbo along with unique front fender louvers, side skirts, a front spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, a lightweight magnesium roof, and a fixed rear wing. This example is finished in Ultraviolet, one of the official launch colors of the GT3 RS. It comes factory-equipped with optional Bi-Xenon headlights in Black, yellow ceramic brake calipers, and 20”/21” GT3 RS center-lock wheels in Satin Black. The car has also been modified with clear taillight lenses, satin black rear wing supports, and 991.2-style GT3 RS side decals. The seller notes some scratches are present on the lower front spoiler. The CARFAX report shows two tires were replaced in 2020 along with the front spoiler. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, this GT3 RS features Black leather and Alcantara upholstery accented by carbon fiber trim and GT Silver stitching. Factory features include a three-spoke steering wheel in Alcantara, cloth door pull straps in GT Silver, optional 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, instrument dials in White, automatic climate control, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), a sound system, a fire extinguisher, and a luggage net in the passenger footwell. Yellow seatbelts have been installed and some creases are noted on the outer driver’s seat bolsters along with scuffs on the driver’s seatback.

The naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine sends up to 500 HP and 338 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. The GT3 RS reaches 60 MPH from a standstill in as little as 3 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. Standard performance features include rear-axle steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus). Optional equipment includes Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), and an extended-range fuel tank. An aftermarket Fabspeed Motorsport exhaust system has been installed and the most recent service was completed in March 2024 including an oil and filter change and a brake fluid flush.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, service records, and a clean title.

As we drop below the 7-minute countdown, just a courtesy reminder for everyone to refresh your browsers now (and on a regular basis through the end of the auction) in order to sync your computer with PCar settings. I’ve seen bidders lose cars as they were not current on countdown timing!

Also, please make sure that your credit card info is current with PCar. If anything has expired you will not be able to bid at the last minute and won’t have time to enter in a new number.

Finally, there is no need to wait to bid until the last second as PCar resets the clock each time there is a bid placed inside the last two minutes. Good luck everyone!

Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the final couple hours of our Ultraviolet Porsche 991 GT3 RS auction. We’re excited for this exceptional car to find a new caretaker today. She has a fresh annual service and is ready to go!

Should you need assistance with enclosed transport to your neck of the woods we are happy to assist with that as well.

I’ll be checking in throughout the morning to respond to your questions and comments. Thanks again, and happy bidding!

@Alex4848 We have numerous service records and have reached out to the shop in Florida who maintained the car since 2020. They said the previous owner was very particular and did not track the car.

If it had any track time before 2020 we aren't aware of it, and all of the normal indicators (A-pillars, the leading edge of the roofline, flared quarter panels, black side skirts, etc.) certainly show no indicators of serious track use. This is an extremely nice and low-mileage example with a binder full of records, newer Michelins, and a fresh annual service in March 2024.

At current market prices, these are hands-down the best value in the Porsche RS market right now. LOTS of bang for the buck here. I'm not aware of many cars at this price point (from any manufacturer) that have the presence of a 991 GT3 RS for show events, the track chops of this car for serious drivers, the low cost of ownership/maintenance and reliability, or the future collectibility of this naturally-aspirated 4.0L RS.

Bid with confidence. This is a car that I would 100% keep for my personal collection if the timing were different.

Good morning, and thank you for tuning into our auction for this spectacular Ultraviolet Porsche 991 GT3 RS!

In my opinion, if you're going to drive an RS, it should pop, and this one certainly does. It also has the highly desirable Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, or "PCCB", which are the only way to go on these cars as they offer fade-free performance, stop after stop, and produce virtually no brake dust on the wheels to clean. PCCB adds nearly $10K when purchased new, but worth every penny.

I look forward to your questions and comments moving forward, and if you happen to be in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and would like to come by and see this RS in person, please reach out to us directly and we would be happy to coordinate a time. Thanks, and happy bidding!
