Designed to deliver exceptional track-oriented performance, the Porsche 991 GT3 RS combines the abilities of Porsche's high-performance racing models with a street-legal sports car. Unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the RS variant showcases its aggressive persona with broad vented fenders, an imposing rear wing, and a potent naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine delivering a formidable 500 horsepower directly to the rear wheels. This 2016 Porsche 991 GT3 RS comes finished in Ultraviolet over a Black/GT Silver leather and Alcantara interior. It features wheels painted in Silver, clear taillights, Sound Package Plus, Porsche Communication Management, the extended range fuel tank, and more. Showing approximately 11k miles on the odometer, this example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.
This GT3 RS was ordered in the striking non-metallic shade of Ultraviolet, introduced for the model lineup in 2016. Compared with a standard 991 GT3, the RS version features, a lightweight magnesium roof panel, a larger rear wing, and wider fenders with louvered front vents and Turbo-style side air intakes. Optional details include painted headlight cleaning system covers, clear taillights, and 20”/21” GT3 RS wheels painted in Silver. It rides on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires from 2018. The seller adds that a full 3M paint protection film has been applied. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The driver-focused cabin presents Black leather and Alcantara upholstery accented by GT Silver deviated stitching and carbon fiber trim. Optional features include sun visors in Alcantara, seatbelts in Guards Red, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including a navigation module, Sound Package Plus, and a fire extinguisher. Standard equipment includes full bucket seats, door-sill guards with model insignias, Bluetooth connectivity, and cruise control. A roll bar has also been installed along with aftermarket aluminum pedal covers.
This GT3 RS is equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine that revs up to 9k-RPM and sends as much as 500 HP to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 3 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. Standard performance features include rear-axle steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), and a sports exhaust system with center-mounted tailpipes. The seller adds that titanium exhaust pipes have been fitted. The CARFAX report shows a total of 12 service history entries, along with a manufacturer emissions recall issued in May 2023 (Recall #APA0). The seller states there are currently no outstanding maintenance items.

Based on the color of the brake calipers, this car was almost certainly outfitted with iron rotors from factory. This price is insane. Had I not just purchased a very similar UV RS, I would be bidding on this drop dead gorgeous car.

FYI ONLY: bought the 992 less than two weeks ago from seller. I live in Utah. The wire transfer from me hit the Tuesday following the close of auction(Thursday). @jcbarrios2003 I saw that. The market has been pretty wild over the past 2-3 years but has turned again. I see the signs we are quickly headed back and beyond the 19-20 numbers with economical factors at play.
This car also sold for less than 175k in Jan 2019 with 8k miles. Interested to see how much it goes for now.
