Available for auction is this 2016 Porsche 991 GT3 RS finished in Ultraviolet over a Black/GT Silver interior. Compared to the standard 991 GT3, the RS version came equipped with a larger naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine that produces up to 500 HP along with wide Turbo-style fenders, a magnesium roof, and aggressive aerodynamic upgrades. In addition to an aftermarket roll cage and Fabspeed mufflers, this example comes with many desirable factory options such as the Front Axle Lift System, an extended range fuel tank, Racing Yellow seat belts, and Satin Black wheels. Acquired by the seller as a Porsche-Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in 2018, this RS has been maintained under warranty and is now being offered for auction out of Texas showing approximately 11k miles on the odometer.
This example is finished in Ultraviolet, a rare and eye-catching color that debuted for the GT3 RS in 2016. It rides on factory Satin Black 20”/21” center-lock wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Other options include LED headlights in Black and SportDesign side mirrors with lower trims in high-gloss black. There has been no reported track use and this example wears paint protection film covering the front bumper, hood, fenders, and roof. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara accented by GT Silver deviated stitching, painted air vents, and carbon fiber inlays. It has been fitted with an aftermarket black roll cage with 5-point racing harnesses. Notable factory options include the Front Axle Lift System, Light Design Package, Sport Chrono Package, Sound Package Plus, Racing Yellow seatbelts, and personalized carbon fiber door sills that read “PURPLE HAZE” in illuminated lettering.
The GT3 RS is equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six engine that revs up to 9k-RPM and sends as much as 500 HP to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 3 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. Standard performance features include rear-axle steering, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), and a sport exhaust system with center tailpipes in black. This example has been fitted with aftermarket Fabspeed mufflers, and the original mufflers are included with the sale as well. The seller purchased this GT3 RS in September 2018 with extended CPO warranty coverage through 2021, and notes they have records from annual service at Plano Porsche. A major service was performed in April 2022 as shown on the CARFAX report.
This sale will include a clean title (lien), window sticker, owner’s manuals, battery charger, car cover, sales brochure/literature, two sets of keys, and extensive documentation.

“… until then as you can see from my video I have some wonderful east Texas country roads right by my house that are very enjoyable.”
Beautiful car, but it is quite a stretch to describe the roads in your driving video as such. I’d rate any freeway cloverleaf as a ton more fun. A Tesla could outrun the RS on that stretch you recorded.
GLWA- it is a treat to view a No Reserve auction of an awesome vehicle.
@gesmith55 the paint protection film was installed at the time of purchase by original owner, I am unsure of the brand of roll bar.
Couple of questions: do you know when PPF was installed? Before your ownership?
Any idea which brand the roll bar is?
I’ve seen this car in person and its a very clean car from a collector known to care of his cars.
I do find it funny how many people comment “why do you need to know about track days”, paint meter readings, etc, when those people are the peanut gallery not bidding, and the real bidders ask question that are in fact important before bidding 150k or more. I wouldn’t bid without knowing these things, especially when buying a car you never see in person first.

It is a dream of mine to someday drive on a track but I might have to wait for retirement, until then as you can see from my video I have some wonderful east Texas country roads right by my house that are very enjoyable.
@connorville yes for sure it’s the car that has been built for track use but knowing how many days/hours car has been run in the track will help to know and consider lots of things , im sure you know the difference between an engine with 20 track/race hours on it or 200 track/race hours .
Cheers
I do find it funny how many people always seem to be concerned with track days. It's literally what the car was engineered to do.
Anyways beautiful car. GLWS!

Hello this is Andy, I am the owner and ready to answer any questions. I have never been on a track period with any of my cars and have never with this GT3RS, I have participated in 2 rally events in Arkansas prior to covid otherwise the car has never been out of town, only to my office and a few local car shows each year. Please reach out if you have any questions.
How many track days is in this vehicle?
