Produced in a limited series of 25 examples for the entire world, this 2016 Porsche 991 Carrera GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition commemorates the fifth historic Rennsport Porsche gathering at Laguna Seca Raceway in 2015. Equipped with a 7-speed manual transmission and no sunroof, this special edition GTS also features a Paint to Sample exterior in Fashion Grey with exclusive factory graphics, 20” Sport Classic wheels, and LED headlights in Black. The cabin is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara accented by Carmine Red stitching and carbon fiber inlays. This example is said to have been originally used as a display and press car by Porsche Cars North America and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing just 37 miles on the odometer.
The Rennsport Reunion Edition comes finished Paint to Sample Fashion Grey, one of the earliest historic Porsche colors first offered on the 356 in 1950. Special details include factory red and black stripe graphics, SportDesign exterior mirrors, LED headlight in Black, and high-gloss black-painted 20” Sport Classic wheels. This GTS comes without a sunroof and rides on a set of original Pirelli P Zero tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black leather and Alcantara upholstery is accented by carbon fiber trim and deviated GTS stitching in Carmine Red. A special “Rennsport Reunion Edition” designation is located on the carbon fiber trim strip above the glovebox as well as each illuminated carbon fiber door sill inlay. A complete list of factory options is provided below:
Among the very last of the naturally aspirated Carreras, this 2016 GTS is equipped with a 3.8 L flat-six engine rated at 430 HP. The rear wheels are driven through a 7-speed manual transmission providing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4 seconds. Lowered PASM Sport Suspension comes equipped as standard on the Rennsport Reunion Edition, and all Carrera GTS models feature the Sport Chrono Package, Sport Exhaust System, Dynamic Engine Mounts, and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV). The car was last serviced by Road Scholars of North Carolina in May of 2021.
This sale will include a set of two keys, the original owner’s manuals, a clean title, and a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Do not miss this elusive opportunity to own one of only 25 Rennsport Reunion Editions ever built.
