Featuring a rare 6-speed manual transmission paired with its supercharged 3.0-liter V6, this 2016 Jaguar F-Type S Convertible is also equipped with a limited-slip differential. It comes finished in Santorini Black over a Jet Black leather interior. Designed by Ian Callum of Aston Martin DB7 fame, the F-Type benefits from lightweight aluminum construction with sweeping body lines. Options include the Premium, Vision, and Climate packages, a Meridian Sound System, and more. This Jaguar is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida, showing less than 86k miles on the odometer.
This F-Type S is finished in Santorini Black, and equipment includes adaptive xenon headlights with washers, hood and fender vents, recessed door handles, a deployable rear spoiler, orange painted brake calipers, LED taillights, and twin center exhaust outlets. It rides on 19” aftermarket Element MRR Ground Force GF06 wheels in Gloss Black and the seller notes a few minor scratches, as well as that orange vinyl accents have been added to the exterior, along with a black vinyl wrap on the front grille, roll hoops, and side vents. A ceramic coating is said to have been applied in 2020. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is upholstered in Jet Black leather. It features the optional Premium & Vision Packages, which include dual-zone automatic climate control, heated seats and steering wheel, a wind deflector, parking sensors with a backup camera, blind spot monitoring, power-folding mirrors with auto-dimming, an air filter and air quality sensor, Valet Mode, interior storage with a lockable cover, and reverse traffic detection. Additional options include the Meridian Sound System with Bluetooth compatibility and navigation. The seller has added orange vinyl wrap to the interior trim and states that the steering wheel and some buttons show wear. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to function as intended.
Powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6, the F-Type sends up to 380 HP and 339 lb.-ft. of torque to its rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and an active electro-mechanical limited-slip differential. Performance features include Active Dynamics suspension, a variable active exhaust, and the Configurable Dynamics system, which allows the driver to fine-tune drivetrain and suspension settings. The seller reports that the coolant Y pipes were replaced in April of 2022, as well as the installation of an upgraded OEM clutch. A new battery was installed in March of 2024, along with an oil change. An inspection report can be found in the attachment section of the listing.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a wheel key, a convertible windscreen, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Owning this car with a 6-speed manual has been a dream come true! I searched the country for almost 2 years to find the exact car I wanted. I've been truly fortunate to own this, and I'm excited for the next enthusiast to live their dream. Due to a recent divorce, I am attempting to downsize my toys, so I really hate to see this go, but I feel like it's the right choice. I'm very transparent, and I'm happy to answer any questions or provide additional footage of the car. I was going to get the orange removed before posting it for sale but decided to leave it on and let the next owner make the decision.”

Maintenance costs for an F-Type are likely similar to other cars on this site. The major repairs I've had completed were the new clutch/flywheel and the radiator y-pipe issue.
@firstpcarowner - yeah, maybe I transposed the numbers. One things for sure, getting work done on a Jag isn't cheap. Kind of like my sl55, can't do anything for less than $1k.
Oh well, can't take it with you when you go! Spend away!

@firstpcarowner yes that's it. He said $42k so I didn't know which car he was talking about.
@smithwn topped out at ~$24k I believe, unless we’re talking about different auctions. I recognized the car from a C&B one in August. The orange vinyl and wheels were a dead giveaway. Could be an awesome way to get into a driver-condition 6-Speed S, though, and easy enough to convert back into stock!
@Jaguar63 really man? It took me 30 seconds to Google the VIN and find this. Even the pictures are the same. What’s the catch here?

@smithwn no, that wasn't this car
Isn't this the same car that just topped out at $42k in an online bid last week?????
Additionally, I made a quick video to show the top is operating smoothly up and down. https://youtu.be/db9MvrGwURU?si=PqvLhIAraPiHogXk
