Introduced in 2015 as the track-focused version of the sixth-generation Ford Mustang, the GT350R offers significant weight savings, aggressive aerodynamics, an upgraded suspension setup, carbon fiber wheels, and a 6-speed manual gearbox connected to a flat plane crank “Voodoo” V8 engine producing up to 526 HP. This 2016 example was ordered in Shadow Black over an Ebony interior with red accents and delivered new to Mac Halk Ford of Houston, Texas, optioned with the Electronics Package which equips dual-zone climate control, a CD player, and a voice-activated navigation system. Remaining under the care of its original owner and showing just over 1k miles on the odometer, this GT350R is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Michigan.
The exterior is finished in Shadow Black (G1) with matte black over-the-top racing stripes and red outer stripes. Equipment includes a Shelby-branded front chin splitter, a carbon composite front grill, side skirts, a rear diffuser with integrated polished exhaust tips, a fixed carbon fiber rear wing, a vented aluminum hood and fenders, automatic HID headlights, sequential LED tail lights, and red Brembo brake calipers. The seller reports that it has been garage kept since new, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The 19” black-painted carbon fiber wheels wear black Ford center caps and the original Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
The interior features deeply bolstered manually adjustable Recaro sport seats trimmed in Ebony cloth with Alcantara inserts and red accents, and a black carpeted rear seat delete. Amenities include an Alcantara-wrapped multifunction steering wheel with red inner stitching and a red 12 o’clock marker, Shelby-exclusive trim, power accessories, cruise control, auxiliary analog oil pressure and temperature gauges mounted in between the two central air vents, a digital driver’s information display, and GT350 door sill plates. The optional Electronics Package adds a 7” display with voice-activated navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a single CD player. A plaque affixed to the passenger-side dashboard identifies this example as chassis #GR191.
Under the Ford Performance aluminum strut tower braces lies a naturally aspirated 5.2L “Voodoo” flat-plane crank V8 rated at 526 HP and 429 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and Torsen limited-slip differential, providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 3.9 seconds. The R package also includes a stiffer suspension setup with adjustable strut mounts as well as coolers for the engine oil, differential, and transmission fluid. Stopping power is derived from multi-piston Brembo brake calipers at all four corners over 2-piece cross-drilled rotors. The seller reports that oil services have been performed annually.
This sale will include a clean title. owner’s manuals, and the original window sticker.

Happy bidding and good luck
Never been a fan of the Mustang, however, man! Does this thing show well!
Great color combination and the Shelby and R Packages really make this car look like a mean track eater
I bet it’s a blast to drive
Not sure if there is a cold start video, but I bet that exhaust sounds great
Good luck all
