Debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show and named Top Gear’s “Supercar of the Year”, the Ferrari F12berlinetta carries on Ferrari’s tradition of front-engine V12 grand touring cars dating back over 50 years. The car features striking aerodynamic GT bodywork designed in collaboration with Pininfarina and underpinned by a naturally aspirated engine delivering over 730 HP to the rear wheels. This 2016 example is finished in Rosso Corsa over tan leather and features extensive optional carbon fiber trim, LED steering wheel shift indicator lights, Scuderia fender shields, power racing-style bucket seats, and carbon fiber exterior sills. It was acquired by the current owner from Cauley Ferrari of Detroit in 2020 and is now being offered for auction out of California with just over 6k miles showing on the odometer.
The F12’s bodywork was designed in-house at the Ferrari Styling Centre in coordination with Pininfarina and features advanced aerodynamics developed with wind tunnel testing, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and experience gained from the 599XX and Formula One racing programs. Details include a large rear diffuser, active brake cooling ducts, and an Aero Bridge which channels air along the bonnet through flanks on either side of the car to create downforce. This 2016 example is finished in traditional Rosso Corsa with optional Scuderia front fender shields, carbon fiber exterior sills, black side mirror inserts, red brake calipers, and a carbon fiber trunk lid spoiler. The car has been lowered with aftermarket Novitec springs and rides on factory 20” Y-spoke forged wheels finished in dark satin grey with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires (1615). The seller notes the front bumper, hood, and fenders are preserved by clear paint protection film and a small piece of protective vinyl is placed on the front spoiler. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in tan leather and features power-adjustable bucket seats with racing seat lifters and optional Cavallino Rampante emblems stitched on the headrests. Other options include carbon fiber sill covers, a carbon fiber central bridge, carbon fiber dashboard inserts, and a three-spoke steering wheel trimmed in carbon fiber with integrated LED shift indicator lights, carbon fiber shift paddles, an engine start button, and a Manettino drive mode selector. Other features include dual-zone automatic climate control, a JBL audio system, Ferrari track telemetry, a folding rear parcel shelf, aluminum pedals, and a digital driver’s display with navigation.
Having earned the 2013 International Engine of the Year Award in the Best Performance Category, the Tipo F140 FC is a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 producing up to 731 HP and 50-9 lb.-ft of torque. This front mid-mounted engine delivers power to the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and an electronic limited-slip differential. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH takes place in approximately 3 seconds with a top speed of 211 MPH. The F12’s aluminum spaceframe chassis also incorporates SCM-E magnetorheological suspension the F1-Trac traction control system, and Ferrari’s third generation CCM3 carbon ceramic disc brakes with ABS. The seller states the car underwent routine maintenance under a 7-year Ferrari service warranty which expired in September 2022. The brake fluid reservoir cap is said to have been replaced along with the battery in 2022, and the next oil change is due in September 2023.
This sale will include a collection of maintenance records, owner’s manuals, a car cover, a battery charger, and a clean title (lien).
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for your interest in this beautiful and well-optioned car, this car has never seen rain since I owned it and was always stored in a garage with a cover, all maintenance is up to date by Ferrari Beverly Hills, ready for a new owner.”

@johnso21 Only matters if the reserve if off ...I'd be far more inclined to be aggressive bidding because i know for sure I'm buying it.
Thank You!
@johnso21 that is not correct. We do not indicate the reserve status until the auction ends and results are announced. Please see below comments. Thank you.
@Ty85465 the how it works section explains this in detail. The reserve is kept secret and every bid is viewed as a binding contract to buy the car at that price. The seller may chose to comment that the reserve has been lifted or met, but is not obligated to do so. We kindly ask that from this point on that any questions pertaining to how the site work be directed to our How It Works section or you may email our helpdesk by clicking on the contact us button. Thank you
@Ty85465 yes as soon as it hits reserve it will say reserve met. Even if they dont say that the reserve was met why would it matter?
Thanks for your response...So, during the auction if the bidding exceeds the reserve price, bidders would NOT know that important fact?
@Ty85465 the reserve is kept private. One of the key reasons for this is that should the highest bid be under the reserve price, the seller still has the option to accept that bid at the very end, which often occurs. Assume each bid could be the winning bid to ensure you best chance of success of winning the auction. Good luck!
Hi,
I'm new here. How do you know when the reserve is off?
Thank you
BAT error , it was not purchased new , I am the 3rd owner that s why it fell off on Sale due to there error !
Description /Information below was corrected properly !
Good luck on Bid!
@Bergwerk, you can still find this car's listing over on BaT. It does have the Carfax link embedded, showing 3 owners. The 1-owner representation seems to be: "This 2016 Ferrari F12berlinetta was first delivered to Cauley Ferrari in West Bloomfield, Michigan, and is said to have been purchased new by the seller." HTH!

Thanks very much for the quick explanation. All makes sense. Such beautiful lines and the engine is amazing.
Winning bid though he was buying a one owner car , BAT listed it with error as one owner
CARFAx clearly stated its 3 owner I’m the current !
Rear spoiler can be remove with out damaging the paint , just taped ! Good luck on bid.
So confused as the listing seems to have been removed from BaT history. "listing in accuracy(sic)" is not exactly confidence inspiring. Could you be as specific as possible about what the issue was? Was the spoiler added under your ownership? Do you have any thoughts or had anyone look at removing it? Concern being paint damage. Thank you.
Bid in the amount of $150,000
Bid in the amount of $100,000
Yea, but it fell apart due to listing in accuracy, now it’s listed with accuracy of ownership ,
Looking forward to get a new owner for this Beautiful car ( Good luck to lucky bidders)
@DrVdds Didn't this just sell on BAT or am I losing my mind?
