In 2014, Ferrari unveiled a significant upgrade for its high-performance grand touring convertible, the California T, with revised styling, suspension, updated technology, and a new twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This 2016 example comes finished in black over matching leather upholstery and features yellow-painted brake calipers, Scuderia fender shields, 20” Forged wheels, ventilated power seats, white stitching, Apple CarPlay, a parking camera, and more. Showing under 17k miles on the odometer, this California T is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
As part of the styling update, the California T received a revised rear end and a new front fascia influenced by the F12 Berlinetta. This example comes finished in black with optional yellow brake calipers, Scuderia fender shields, and 20” silver-painted forged wheels in silver and mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires. The seller adds that a ceramic coating has been applied, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features black leather contrasted with optional special white stitching and prancing horse-embossed headrests. Other options include a yellow rev counter, ventilated full electric seats, foldable rear seats, Apple CarPlay, a parking camera, and Homelink integrated within the rearview mirror. Standard amenities include a multifunction steering wheel including paddle shifters, a Manettino drive mode selector, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a touchscreen head unit. The seller notes minor leather wear above the dashboard, commonly seen in this model.
The first turbocharged Ferrari since the legendary F40 supercar, the California T is equipped with an F154 twin-turbo V8 engine that sends as much as 553 HP and 557 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The sprint from 0-60 MPH is accomplished in approximately 3.3 seconds with a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. The California T also debuted with a new F1 Trac system and features carbon ceramic brakes and an anti-lock braking system as standard. The CARFAX report shows 16 service history entries, including the latest maintenance carried out in November 2023 by an authorized Ferrari dealer.
This sale will include a clean title (lien) and a battery charger.
The seller would like you to know: “This was my baby for 2.5 years. I loved it, but with the arrival of our third child, we can no longer use it. Every Sunday, I would take it out with my wife and two kids in the back, and they loved it. Sadly, it's not feasible with three kids in the back. I've always been diligent about caring for my cars and keeping them for many years, but this one has to go now.”
