A special edition of the seventh generation Corvette paying tribute to the C7.R race car, the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition features a unique appearance package with exposed carbon fiber accents, yellow interior stitching, Corvette Racing sill plates, the 3LZ Premium Equipment Group, and the Z07 Performance Package with Brembo carbon ceramic brakes. This example is one of 500 built in total and is finished in Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat over a Jet Black leather and sueded microfiber interior. Showing less than 1k miles on the odometer, this rare and highly collectible Corvette is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Georgia.

The C7.R Edition features an exposed carbon fiber hood section and ground effect package as well as grilles and vents finished in Spectra Gray Metallic, yellow brake calipers, and black 19”/20” Z06 wheels with yellow accent stripes and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. This example is finished in Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat, a new color for 2016 and one of two choices offered on the C7.R Edition. The Z07 Performance Package also adds a front splitter, front dive planes, and a rear wing for increased downforce. Slight imperfections on the roof panel are noted and additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, the driver is greeted by a special Jet Black leather interior with Competition Sport Seats, yellow contrast stitching, a high-gloss carbon fiber trim package, and sueded microfiber accents on the doors, instrument panel, seats, steering wheel, and shifter. This Z06 is equipped with a supercharged 6.2L LT4 V8 engine that generates up to 650 HP and 650 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a Hydramatic 8L90 8-speed automatic transaxle and electronic limited-slip differential, allowing this Z06 to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3 seconds.  The Z07 Performance Package adds a specially tuned suspension with Magnetic Selective Ride Control dampers as well as upgraded Brembo ceramic brakes. The seller notes that regular maintenance has been observed and there are no outstanding service items.
