The original 2-Series (F22) debuted in 2014, replacing the 1 Series Coupe and Convertible as BMW's compact two-door sports model. Featuring a desirable color combination of Mineral Grey Metallic over Coral Red leather upholstery along with several M Sport accessories, this 2016 M235i Convertible was purchased new by the owner in 2017 and is now being offered for auction out of New York showing approximately 26k miles on the odometer.
This M235i Convertible is finished in Mineral Grey Metallic paint and features unique design elements that set it apart from a standard 2-Series including a black front grille, dual-exit exhaust, and mirror covers finished in Cerium Grey. It wears factory 18" double-spoke wheels shod in Pirelli P Zero tires at all four corners. Other details include a power-retractable soft convertible top, xenon adaptive headlights, and a rear decklid spoiler. The CARFAX report shows damage in March of 2018 and the seller believes the front left fender may have been repaired as a result.
Inside, this M235i wears Coral Red leather and came equipped from the factory with the Cold Weather Package, adding a heated steering wheel and three-stage heated front seats. The leather-wrapped M Sport steering wheel frames a configurable information display, a 7500-RPM tachometer, and a 160-MPH speedometer. Other amenities include automatic climate control and Bluetooth phone integration. The owner reports a small dent on the center console trim, a small scratch on the shifter, and small scratches on the driver's seat.
The M235i utilizes a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine internally designated as the N55. Producing up to 322 HP and 332 lb.-ft of torque, it drives all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. and it shows extensive servicing at BMW dealerships in the New York and New Jersey area since new.
The sale will include a clean title.

Hi all,
The auction ends today. I’m available to answer any questions.
if this happens i can borow a friend's dealer's plate and Uber to the seller's location (2.5 hrs/118 miles) he can then drive me to the nearest Wells Fargo and get his cash or Cashier's check and drive her home. I am from Cherry Hill, NJ
@burnrubr That's funny. I divide my driving between a 997 Turbo S Cab, an Avalanche and a 2018 230xi Convertible. The 230xi replaced a 2016 228xi Convertible, so I can confirm, engine choice notwithstanding.... it's a phenomenal daily driver, and it gets the bulk of my miles in all 4 seasons.
This is striking color combo. Great car!
just sold my MX-5 and i don't really drive much my 997.2 Turbo Cab this is an ideal daily driver being an X-drive.

@rbrunson the wheels are spotless…just had them redone before this listing plus 2 brand new front tires (less than 100 miles on them). I do think some but not all of the scratches can be compounded/polished out - I just haven’t had a chance to do it or take the car in for it. I also think the black smudge would come out, but I haven’t tried so I cannot be sure. I only noticed the smudge when we were taking the photos, so I am not sure what it’s from but I don’t think it’s been there very long.
I see a black smudge on the corner of the drivers seat. Can this be cleaned up or what is the source?
I assume the various scratches in the paint cannot be polished out like the drivers rear bumper, passenger rear bumper and above the passenger's rear wheel correct?
Any damage to the wheels?
Thanks,
@DMeltz123 HK sound system.
HK sound system or stock? Thanks-
@DMeltz123 yes they do.
Do the rear seats fold flat? Thank you-
@rbrunson repair invoice has been added to photos.

@rbrunson I have the paperwork. How can I send it to you?
@rbrunson I have a photo of the damage, which was pretty minimal. Happy to send it over to you. I just called BMW, they will try & get me the paperwork from the repair.
@Eaverbuch It also says that the front fender was replaced. My only other concern would be if there was any other front end/frame damage. Do you have any paperwork on the repair and receipt so it can be confirmed everything is good?
@rbrunson it is all wheel drive. The car is an M235i xDrive. I will try and have the listing corrected to reflect all wheel drive.
You say it is rear wheel drive but it does have an x drive badge on the rear trunk lid picture 43. Which is it?
