Delivering ample torque from an efficient V6 turbo diesel engine, this 2015 Porsche Cayenne Diesel comes finished in Jet Black Metallic over a black leather interior. It was factory equipped with optional 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats, 20” RS Spyder Design wheels, ParkAssist, soft close doors, Premium Package Plus, and a sliding glass sunroof. Cared for by only one prior owner, this Cayenne is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing just over 32k miles on the odometer.
This post-facelift second-generation Cayenne is presented in Jet Black Metallic with optional side window trims in black and 20” RS Spyder Design wheels. The car is said to have been washed and waxed regularly and the seller states it has never been driven off-road. One small ding is noted on the front passenger door along with some other minor signs of wear throughout the exterior. It rides on a set of low-mileage Pirelli tires dated from 2017, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black leather interior is appointed with optional 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats including heating, ventilation, and memory settings. Other optional equipment includes the Brushed Aluminum Interior Package, an electric slide/tilt sunroof in glass, Porsche Car Connect, ParkAssist incl. reversing camera, Lane Departure Warning (LDW) with Lane Change Assist (LCA), tire pressure monitoring system, soft close doors, Premium Package Plus, and Voice Control.
A turbocharged V6 diesel engine delivers up to 262 HP and 428 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of an 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. The CARFAX report shows a lifetime of routine maintenance performed by The Collection of Coral Gables, Florida, including a major 30k-mile service in December 2021 with new brake pads and rotors.
This sale will include the owner's manuals and the original window sticker. A clean title has been issued and is currently in transit to the seller, expected within 1-2 weeks of the auction's end time.

It kept saying ‘Reserve Processing’ on my end. Congrats and enjoy! ??
Sold for $44,808
Did it sell? RNM?
Yes, congrats @exoro. If you wish a hitch its not hard and only thing I would point out is lack of Porsche 'fix' stickers under hood owing to Dieselgate fix. Maybe my 2013 had that as it came from California but I would suggest perhaps checking into that...
congrats @exoro. Came in strong at the end and didnt let off. Enjoy it!
Wonderful auction and congrats to the buyer! Thank you all for your engagement and interst

@P1Exotics - These beasts can handle towing better than many pickups! :) Plowing snow would be a different story - that’ll wreak havoc on any vehicle.

@jtsherri On the bright side, without the tow package we know the car has been treated kindly! :)

@Nbkzl7b - I think that lack of tow package will unfortunately be a deal-breaker for many. Seems like most are now seeking these TDI-equipped Audi/Porsche/Volkswagen SUV’s as tow vehicles. $2,500 to add it after the fact is a tough pill to swallow, too.

Too nad about no hitch. I would have been a bidder. I have a 2013 in white and the diesel engine is wonderful. Presently have 128k miles and going strong. Good luck here at the end

@P1Exotics - Thanks so much!
@jtsherri The fog light is not cracked. Will get additional photos for you asap.
@P1Exotics - Unfortunately the pics have raised additional concern (but I do appreciate you getting them!). Looking past the paint itself, which is tough to tell whether buffing or a respray will be necessary to fix it, it also looks like the fog/driving light is cracked… and knowing Porsche, this could be costly to replace.
Can we please try to confirm ASAP if this is the case? Pics, if possible?

@jtsherri You have a great eye. It appears to be a very minor scratch that went unnoticed by the owner, otherwise it would have been corrected. I'd imagine with some buffing and touch up paint, this would be resolved. I'm not with the vehicle today personally, but i had a coworker share the photos with me and I will be uploading it now.
@P1Exotics - Thanks! Do you have the ability to quickly confirm whether or not this is just a reflection or in fact damage to the paint so that bidders are aware until a picture is available?
@Thomasjay we have an absolutely fantastic shipping broker that we use and can't recommend enough! He's always consistently outperformed other quotes we've gotten, and we'd be happy to help coordinate shipping on your behalf at no additional expense. You'd simply pay the shipping cost directly to our broker when the time comes.
@jtsherri Working on it! Apologies for the delay.
@P1Exotics - Any update on getting a picture or two of that front bumper (lower driver-side)...? At a minimum it would be nice to know if there's damage to the paint there or not.
Would you be willing to arrange shipping to the buyer?

@P1Exotics - Thanks! Mostly concerned as to whether there’s actually damage there or if it’s just a reflection. ??
Thank you to everyone for a very engaged and active auction thus far. We truly believe this car speaks for itself, and are excited to see who emerges as the winning bidder in just over 15 hours! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any final questions - I will try my best to answer everything as quickly as possible.
As noted by PCar, we've added service history for your viewing, all of which has been conducted by the Collection in Miami FL.

@ggp.ny - Negative. A friend who’s a big Cayenne junkie confirmed it doesn’t and then mentioned it can be added… FOR TWENTY FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS.
I didn’t bother to check if this is accurate, but taking Porsche tax in to account, it seems about right.
@ggp.ny The towing package is not listed on the window sticker, however this vehicle is fully loaded with options with a window sticker of $83,795. To my knowledge, many other diesel Cayennes have window stickers in the mid to high 70s.

@TheBaron Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns - I believe we have answered all questions so far at this point. Feel free to also call us and we'd be happy to answer any additional questions over the phone as well.
To all: The car is available for an in-person pre-purchase inspection should anyone be interested.
In response to your final question: "Why does seller have another car listed right now and the location states that the other car is in New Jersey," we are an NJ-based dealer with vehicles located throughout the country. Our Virage Dragon 88 is located in NJ, while the Cayenne is located in Miami.
@ianbsears Confirming the carfax report was conducted on 9/12/22.
There is no lien on the vehicle. The 1-2 week turnaround time is simply the Florida DMV issuing a paper title in preparation for the sale. For those who don't know, Florida is one of those states where titles can be issued in digital or paper form.
Hi All, a cold start and 360 walkaround video has been added to the library.
As for any concerns regarding ownership - I have spoken with the owner and they confirmed that they ordered the car from new, have owned it ever since, and have never listed the car for sale before. This is a true one-owner vehicle as confirmed by the carfax report.
@P1Exotics Thank you. The ownership discrepancy came from the Carfax report. If you check it you will see the discrepancy: private owner, then dealer stock, then after a fairly long hiatus retitled to a private owner.
I was thinking this may have been due to Dieselgate but it is ... Unusual.
While I don't place as much faith in Carfax as you do (showing ownership changes when a car is moved from one state to another by the same owner, etc.) this was unusual enough that it triggered the question.
GLWA.
@Quackbury apologies for the long message but there were many questions to answer. I spaced it in a neat and organized way but for some reason pcarmarket removed the spacing i created for the response.
@quackbury thank you for your interest and detailed questions. I will do my best to answer all of them. Please let me know if I miss anything.
BUILD SHEET: Thank you @alex for sharing your findings. We also have the official copy and will upload it later today.
SERVICE: The car has always been fully serviced at The Collection in Miami for its entire life, and we will gladly be uploading all service records for you later today.
REAR SEAT DIMPLES: The vehicle owner is a mother of three children and a handful of grandchildren. We removed a car seat moments prior to this photoshoot, and as such, there were dimples from the car seat.
REAR VALENCE: Apologies but I don't see any scratches that you are referring to. Wear and tear is often found on frequently used surfaces on vehicles. The vehicle presents spectacularly well for a used vehicle, and the valence was not noticed as out of the ordinary by us upon inspection. I will be sure to have our photographer take another look at the vehicle and get additional photos for your viewing. The vehicle owner's family has a few golf enthusiasts, so I'd imagine some wear came from the input and removal of golf bags.
EXHAUST TIPS: You have a great eye. I will speak with the owner to see if there is any particular reason behind the cause. The car has never been in an accident and there are no other exterior imperfections known to us other than the minor ding on the door.
CARFAX: Please view the carfax report in our photo gallery. It is a carfax certified clean title, one owner car. It was never re-sold in 2017. It was registered regularly as is required by the state. Again, it's officially certified by carfax themselves, and they don't take that lightly.
POSESSION AND TITLE: The vehicle is in our possession currently in Coral Gables of Miami FL, and has been since before the start of the auction. You are more than welcome to come take a look at it in person for yourself. We are an NJ-based dealer with vehicles located all throughout the country, primarily in NJ, FL, and TX. The only thing that is in-transit is the title. Florida uses digital titles unless a paper title is requested, and as such, the owner has requested that Florida DMV mail them a paper title in anticipation of the sale. This request was made prior to the auction and generally takes one to two weeks. As a dealer, we are able to issue the winning bidder a temporary tag for up to two months in order to allow for ample time (generally one to two weeks) for us to get the vehicle titled, registered, and tagged in the new owner's name.
COLD START VIDEO: A cold start and 360 walkaround video was uploaded by us to pcarmarket but for some reason the admins have not yet shared that video with the audience... I will follow up with our pcarmarket rep shortly.
Hi All, apologies for the delay - Antonio here, owner of P1 Exotics. I will be happy to respond to each and every one of your inquiries momentarily. As a member of various online auction communities and an enthusiast myself, I know how important it is to ensure trust and confidence for all bidders to bid confidently. This comes with showing proper documentation, providing detailed and unedited photos and videos, and answering all questions throughout the seven day auction process. Rest assured, we will be getting to each and every one of your questions shortly, and I am confident that the next owner of this vehicle will be beyond satisfied with the pristine quality of this vehicle. Feel free to contact me anytime and I will be happy to speak with you over the phone as well.
All the best,
Antonio
QUESTION, COMMENTS & OBSERVATIONS ;
Why has seller NOT responded to any of the reasonable questions over the past 3.5 days (as of this writing)from potential bidders
Why does seller have another car listed right now and the location states that the other car is in New Jersey……
Seller has been on the PCARMmarket for over one year, so I can only assume that he is familiar with the nuances and protocols on how The auction process works on this site.
@p1exotics
can you elaborate on the "clean title" in 1-2 weeks? Is there a lien on the car or something else? also please advise when the carfax report was run.
thank you
@Quackbury - If there’s no title, there’s no sale. Worst case you show the details to pcarmarket.com and get your $$ back for their commission on the nullified sale. Ain’t no way I’m handing funds over to the seller for a vehicle without a clear title in hand when the time comes to pay, though.
Plus, it’s only green paper. They’re constantly printing more of it, right?! ?
Bid in the amount of $16,250
@jtsherri I admire you for voting with your wallet. You're a braver man than I am, as is your duelling partner. But if you win the auction I am not sure whether / how you could renege / unwind the auction "if something falls out of line in the meantime."
I'm too much of a chicken. I'd want clarification upfront, and a written statement from the seller (who has been AWOL so far) before I jumped in. Heck with this much time left I'd probably also want to pop for a PPI. But that's just me.
Good luck to you in your quest.

@ianbsears I *believe* it's been determined that "seller" is a user of this (pcarmarket.com) service and tagging @P1Exotics (who is the actual seller) is necessary. ??
I certainly welcome correction if I'm wrong, though.
@Quackbury I'm down to agree to disagree while committing to purchase knowing that I won't be obligated to do so if something falls out-of-line in the meantime. :)

@alex @alex. Thank you. Are you affiliated with the seller? Or just used a VIN decoder?
@jtsheri Let's agree to disagree. I'd like to know about the gap in ownership. If the car was a trade assist I'd like to know why. I'd also feel more comfortable bidding if the seller had the title in hand before the auction ended. But maybe that's just me.

@Quackbury - These concerns seem a bit over the top. It’s a 32k mile SUV and is bound to have at least minor issues. VERY minor in this case. I bought my wife’s Touareg TDI previously owned by the owner of the dealership it was purchased from with similar mileage and while it was one of the cleanest used vehicles I’d ever purchased, I don’t think it was even this nice.
I can’t speak on the very minor exhaust scratches (which are more like rub marks that’ll clean up than anything), but the dimples in the rear seat are from a child seat, which will lighten up over time.
I do support the cold staff request, though. If at a minimum to hear the diesel noises this beauty should make.
@Quackbury #cold start
Build sheet? Service records? What in the world caused those bizarre dimples on the rear seats, and all of the scratches on the rear valence and exhaust tips? While it's nice to know "the car was washed and waxed regularly" it would be much more reassuring to know what options it has, how those interior and exterior issues were caused, and more clarity on how it was serviced.
Also the listing states it is a one owner vehicle, yet Car Fax says it was titled for personal use in 11/2014, then put in dealer inventory in 1/2016, then re-sold in 9/2017. What's up with that? Lemon? Dieselgate buy-back?
Finally, the auction is live, yet the vehicle will not be in the seller's possession till "1-2 weeks after the auction's end time"? So there will be no cost start videos, no underside photos, no chance for bidders to get specific questions answered? Do bidders even know that the car has arrived undamaged and is in the seller's possession? I frequent all the major auction sites, and I have never, ever seen something like this. Why not hold off on starting the auction till the seller has the vehicle?
This could be a wonderful Pepper, but bidders are being asked to buy the proverbial pig in the poke.
