This 981 comes finished in Carrara White Metallic with the GTS Exterior Package in Black, yellow brake calipers, and deleted rear model designation.  The GTS also comes standard with unique front and rear bumpers, black headlight surrounds, and 20” Carrera S wheels.  This example sports optional Satin Black painted rims dressed in a set of original Pirelli P Zero tires.  The seller describes the finish to have been kept in excellent condition while protected by a full ceramic coating since new, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The owner opted for a two-tone Black and Luxor Beige leather interior with deletion of GTS Alcantara. Additional leather trim covers the center console and the 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats offer heating, ventilation, and memory settings.  A complete list of factory equipment is provided below, including $30,745 worth of options contributing to an original sticker price over $105k:

The naturally aspirated 3.4L flat-six engine in the GTS produces as much as 330 HP, an increase of 15 HP over the standard Boxster S.  Equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission and the Sport Chrono Package, this 981 can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in approximately 4 seconds.  Porsche Active Suspension Management comes standard along with a two-mode sport exhaust system, and this example has been factory equipped with optional Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB), and Power Steering Plus.  CARFAX shows a history of maintenance carried out by Porsche of Hawaii in Honolulu and the seller states the last oil change and service was completed in 2020.

All the tires are original to the car. They are still soft because the car was kept in the garage and they should be good for at least 15 to 20,000 miles. There are absolutely no cosmetic or mechanical issues with the car and a present in showroom condition.

  • seaglasspearl (registered bidder) 2 years, 8 monthsago

Are the tires original? (If 7 years old likely needs replacement for safety reason soon). Are the TPMS still functional (e.g. battery still working)?

  • gblue (seller) 2 years, 8 monthsago

As far as "3 pedals" being worth more $........at this point after having them all my life I prefer the PDK,
less to think about and way better if you are in traffic.....and faster than a manual
    what's not to like?
    :)

  • gblue (seller) 2 years, 8 monthsago

mgweatherly........I really like having a shifter on each side of the wheel....they both can be used for up or down shifting with either hand...very intuitive......

Aloha....Pasha Hawaii ships to San Diego (National City) They work with Road One transport and the car can be picked up by the buyer or designated transport company. I will arrange the shipping as I have a discounted rate. They also have an option to deliver the car to Oakland. Other West Coast destinations are around $1100. The buyer only has to let me know who will pick up the car. It's a very simple process. Travel time is 6 days and pickup is usually the after arrival.....let me know if any more info is needed.
    :)

If shipping to Seattle port, what would be estimated shipping be?

  • 19CRToy83 (registered bidder) 2 years, 8 monthsago

i see some comments about getting the car to the west coast. So what happens when it gets there? Does it sit in a yard and then can be picked up in San Diego?

Nice BGTS! I'm sitting here wondering how much more bidding there would be if it had 3 pedals ? Or is it that this car is located in Hawaii? Anyway GLWS

Stunning example. I drive a base 2014 981 with the PDK, and this car puts mine to shame. Out of curiosity, did you consider specifying the Sport Design steering wheel, or did you just really want the steering wheel controls that were available on the "base" style wheel? I swapped in a Sport Design wheel on my car to get the "proper" paddle shifters. I'll be watching to see where the price lands. Good luck with the sale.

Hawaii to San Diego is 6 days...drive on/drive off.........

  • gblue (seller) 2 years, 8 monthsago

In my intro you'll see that I can get it to San Diego for $900. Across country is $2-3k depending on the transporter........ :)

Have you checked on the current cost and timeline for transporting cars from HI to the west coast and then to the east coast?

so it has annual oil changes...no need
biannual brake fluid flush since new...no need
how about spark plugs, cabin filters, convertible top service etc...no need
so the last oil was done 2 years ago... yes

Simply put, as a general rule, manufacturers recommend that you change the oil for a gasoline engine every 10,000 to 15,000 km, or about once a year for “regular” usage (frequent but not intensive) or once every 2 years if used less frequently.

having said all that the car has been driven monthly since new and has been trouble free,
it looks, drives and is in as new condition........

  • tomcat981 2 years, 9 monthsago

@gblue so it has annual oil changes, biannual brake fluid flush since new? how about spark plugs, cabin filters, convertible top service etc.? so the last oil was done 2 years ago..?

  • gblue (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@markbutlerinc ...the car has had all required dealer maintinence since new
    :)

  • gblue (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

if you enlarge photos 49 and 61 you can easily see the sticthing.......
    :)

  • gblue (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@only1buck ...the stitching is tan on the doors (matching) and tan on the dash which is black and looks classy....as soon as it drys up I'll take the car for a drive to show the PDK modes.

  • markbutlerinc (registered bidder) 2 years, 9 monthsago

Nice spec GTS. Have their been annual oil / filter changes given the low mileage?

  • only1buck 2 years, 9 monthsago

beautiful GTS ... I may have missed it in the description but what color is the stitching in the leather on the doors and dash?

  • Lpetross (registered bidder) 2 years, 9 monthsago

@gblue As a fellow manual car lover I have to say this build has me tempted to try out a PDK build. Beautiful spec and GLWS.

  • gblue (seller) 2 years, 9 monthsago

Aloha from Maui Hawaii, welcome to my auction.
This is one of the highest Spec GTS I have seen. The car has always been garaged and never driven in the rain. As far as the condition it is as close to a concourse vehicle as you could find. There is not a nick or a scratch or even a swirl on the ceramic coated paint. The car is virtually flawless and I hesitate to use the word but it’s the one that best fits the condition of this car.
It has over $30,000 in options including ceramic brakes and the deluxe sound system among others. I should have a driving video in a day or two.
Most of my cars have clutches and manual transmissions and this is the first car I’ve ever had with PDK. If you put it in sports mode it goes right to redline and when it shifts you can feel it in the back of your seat. It also rev match’s on the downshifting so it’s really fun to drive in sports mode.
When I make the video I will drive it in both modes so you can see the difference. I’m here to answer any questions or concerns about the car but like I said there’s not much to say because of the overall excellent condition. I can arrange direct shipping to San Diego from Maui for $900 if the car has to go to the mainland.
Looking forward to a fun experience with all concerned…
