I guess the buyer feels he can flip the car and still come out ahead. I'm shocked this sold. I was watching and expecting it to for $80-85. NICELY DONE! @andyawb
Congratulations! Beautiful car
Sold for $73,313
@SoCalKarl RESERVE IS OFF! That’s awesome.
Well there ya go Karl.
Why call a guy out for making a fair bid. You’d rather see a bunch of $1000 bids that fall $20k short of the cars value?
I’m sure he will still be outbid but nice going @andyawb.
@SoCalKarl Hello, we see many different bidding styles here on a daily basis.
The seller has removed the reserve and the high bid will win the car This is a very nice Targa that will be finding a home today!! Best of luck to all bidders.
Not to be disrespectful or negative but why does a guy @andyawb jump the bid over $31,000.00? Am I the only one who smells something fishy? I mean come on dude the bid increment was under a $1,000.00 and you go big with a jump of over $31,000.00. What's the deal?
Bid in the amount of $73,313
@alan.hall2 , no, not that I can see.
Might have missed this in the ad, however, is there any paint protection film installed on the car? A beautiful 911!

I just sent PCAR all of the requested photos. The Targa top doesn't have creases its just a slight wear mark from the top folding to close. I also took additional pics of the Top operation showing no rubbing or contact.
@scragin , not its absolutely fine. I appreciate the interest in my car and will try to do anything to make buyers comfortable.
@AutoXperts Entirely possible as I only discovered this capability on this site. If so, please forgive my newbieness.
@scragin , I don't have one but will see if I can get it. Typically with PDK trans not really a need as I'm not even sure its possible to over rev. Let me see what I can do.
DME?
@RichJ1615 , yes. I will try to take a video as well.
@AutoXperts Thanks. I’ve just never noticed this on Targas before. Could your pictures show the roof a few inches before it touches down?
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@RichJ1615 , I believe its just the design of the system. I will take some great pics and upload them.
What causes the wrinkles on both sides at the rear of the Targa top?
@ainsworth88 , the top appears to be in good condition. I will take some close-up shots and upload them as well.
@Mercyhealth , I will take some pics of the undercarriage and more close-ups of the wheels and hopefully get them uploaded today, tomorrow at the latest.
@ainsworth88 , unfortunately I do not have any. One would assume that it being the original owner and being under warranty that he would have serviced it at the Porsche dealer. I do not have any records from that owner. I can tell you that based on its condition it has been loved its entire life.

The Sapphire Blue is a huge positive. With 66k miles this car has been driven properly. Undercarriage photos along with wheel well shots would certainly help potential bidders. Thanks great GTS
When is it ending? Beautiful!!
When does it end? This car is beautiful..!!
Any detailed service records available from 3/24/15 to 1/16/18 other than Tire Kingdom shown on the Carfax report. Many miles driven during that period. How bad are the creases in the Targa top on back driver's side?
Bid in the amount of $9,911
