Apologies to the community—this was the “previous winner’s” 10th win, so I assumed he would’ve followed through on the purchase …
@sport310 replied but forgot to tag you, you can see our reply below. Thanks for looking.
Thanks for the bids and let me know if there are any additional questions.
The car was not purchased on BaT. The high bidder balked on his agreement to buy the car and was banned from participation in future BaT auctions. We decided to relist the car here to a more focused audience.
To my knowledge, no changes for the Canadian cars except the cluster reads in KM/H however as you can see the digital readout scan easily be changed to show miles.
@6thinline9 assuming you know the price could result in you losing the car. The reserve is kept private for good reason! Sellers come to market for many different reasons, not just to make a profit. We like to interject here because we have seen many good folks lose a good opportunity due to an assumption.
@6thinline9 Thank you for the info!
On April 5th this was bought on BAT for $111k. @Sport310 I assume the seller is hoping to make some money but after 10% taxes and buyer fee it’s not likely. We shall see.
How does the Canadian market model differ from the US model?
