The pinnacle of the 991 Carrera model range, the GTS version includes wider fenders, Sport Exhaust, the Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), center-lock wheels, and a higher-output motor as standard equipment. This 2015 Porsche 991 Carrera GTS Cabriolet is finished in White over a Black leather and Alcantara GTS interior with Carmine Red accents and features a 7-speed manual transmission, 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, center console trim in carbon fiber, the BOSE Audio Package, and ParkAssist (front and rear) with a reversing camera. The car has also been upgraded with the Fabspeed Valvetronic Performance Package, a short shifter, TechArt lowering springs, a DSC suspension controller, and a custom dyno tune. It was acquired by the seller as a Porsche-Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Porsche of Main Line, Pennsylvania, in 2016 and is now being offered for auction out of Florida with approximately 24k miles showing on the odometer.

The GTS is distinguished from the standard Carrera model by its wider fenders, black engine grille and rear badging, black-framed headlamps, SportDesign mirrors and front spoiler, black “GTS” model designations on the doors, and 20” 911 Turbo S center-lock wheels in black. This example is finished in White with a black cabriolet top and features custom clear taillight and turn signal lenses as well as a monochromatic hood badge and matching wheel center caps. The seller notes the full exterior is preserved under XPEL clear paint protection film and some minor chips are present on the exterior as well as a scratch on the lower front spoiler. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires which were mounted in 2018 with approximately 4k miles driven since. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, this Carrera features a Black leather and Alcantara GTS interior with deviated stitching, headrest logos, and a central tachometer in Carmine Red as well as a three-spoke SportDesign steering wheel, carbon fiber trim, and red-accented seatbelts. Options include center console trim in carbon fiber, the BOSE Audio Package, heated 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, with Memory Package, and ParkAssist (front and rear) with a reversing camera. A short shifter with a black gear knob has been installed along with a custom stereo upgrade by Sound in Motion of Boston. A small scratch is noted on the rear of the driver’s seat.

This GTS is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine rated at 430 HP stock that drives the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed manual gearbox. Standard performance features include the Sport Chrono Package, Dynamic Engine Mounts, Sport Exhaust System, and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV). The car has been upgraded with the Fabspeed Valvetronic Performance Package (Street) which includes 991 Carrera sport headers, a Valvetronic center muffler bypass X-pipe, Maxflo performance side mufflers, and BMC F1 air filters. It also features an aftermarket DSC suspension controller, TechArt lowering springs, and a custom dyno tune from BT Tuning. The seller notes a 20k-mile service was performed at Porsche of Westwood, Massachusetts in 2018 and there are no outstanding maintenance items at this time.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have during the auction as I will be checking in here regularly and monitoring my email as well so please do not hesitate to ask for any additional information. This car has always been garage-kept and washed after every use. The exhaust sounds epic and everyone that sees the car loves it.”

@356rehab I bought it because I had young kids and we had a blast going to cars and coffee and PCA events as a family, about a month ago my oldest who just turned 12 no longer fits in it. So I decided it was time for a change.

  • 356rehab (registered bidder) 1 year, 1 monthago

@jboardman sorry one last question why are you selling the car?

@jboardman thx for the quick response

  • jboardman (seller) 1 year, 1 monthago

@356rehab Sorry I just realized PCM was radio, thats the OEM PCM. AMP was added without touching the OEM PCM using a DSP. Sound in Motion in Boston is a very high end shop and does an awesome job. I will add a couple photos of that.

  • jboardman (seller) 1 year, 1 monthago

@356rehab Car will come with the Cob accessport in the picture that has the factory tune on it. So you can revert back and fourth.

  • jboardman (seller) 1 year, 1 monthago

    @356rehab The boot is factory,
The OEM knob was worn a bit so I didnt keep it. the Phone holder is just a clip and comes off zero damage, its from ProclipUSA.

  • 356rehab (registered bidder) 1 year, 1 monthago

@jboardman also do you have the OEM PCM and will it come with the sale of the car?

  • 356rehab (registered bidder) 1 year, 1 monthago

@jboardman 2 things do you have the original shift gear knob and boot? And is the phone holder drilled into the center console or is it easily removed?
    Thx in advance

I have a very similar car. White/red manual cabrio GTS and it is a fantastic car. The new owner will be happy. This one has all the modifications I plan on doing to mine. A few small tasteful things. For those that dont know these cars are pretty rare. Only 581 cabrio GTS cars were made in 2015-16. Even fewer with a manual gearbox.

@Stercrazy the normal course of events is that the auctions get bid significantly higher in the final moments.

  • jboardman (seller) 1 year, 1 monthago

@Stercrazy no the car is perfect other than the minor cosmetic imperfections.

Anything other than cosmetics wrong with this car. Not familiar with auctions on this platform but see the bids are very low. Am I missing something?

  • jboardman (seller) 1 year, 1 monthago

@RonS it passed smog in Massachusetts which I know is strict but I can’t speak for California.

I don’t have the original springs otherwise the pictures show all the parts.

  • RonS (registered bidder) 1 year, 1 monthago

A very nice car … wondering if it would pass smog in California as is ?
The vehicle comes with all the original parts ?

@FPD 369HP and 297FTlbs stock tune 390HP 309FTlbs after tune. Its NOT an aggressive tune I just wanted things optimized after the exhaust and filters went on.

This is the shops post explaining what they did and a nice video.

Not only was this the pinnacle of the 911 Carrera range, but at the time it was the most intense 911 available with a manual gearbox. With a build sheet like this, no doubt the original buyer was going for the best Cabriolet stick-shift 911 he/she could imagine. Love the spec and the mods are quality! The DSC controller is a huge plus. GLWA

  • FPD 1 year, 2 monthsago

Did the Dyno tune show a change in bhp?

  • 356rehab (registered bidder) 1 year, 2 monthsago

    Great thx!

  • jboardman (seller) 1 year, 2 monthsago

@356rehab The front lip on the underside is scratched up pretty good from impacting low road transitions over the years. There are minor nicks from road stones on various parts of the car, we tried to capture them all in the photos. Overall though the entire car was paint corrected and full body Xpel self healing wrap. Its also only ever been hand washed my entire ownership. I would give it an 8.
