The 6th generation of Mercedes-Benz’s flagship SL-Class roadster, the R231, was the first to be constructed almost entirely of aluminum and save more than 300 lbs. compared to its predecessor. Finished in Designo Diamond White Metallic over Black/Biscaya Blue Nappa leather, this 2015 example is one of only 400 White Arrow Editions, featuring over $10k in premium features. Showing just over 9k miles on the odometer, this rare SL550 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
The exterior is finished in Designo Diamond White Metallic (799) and includes a power-operated hardtop with an electrochromic Magic Sky Control glass panel, bi-xenon headlights with active curve illumination, an AMG-styled front valance, rear valance, and side skirts equipped by the AMG Styling Package, fender vents, LED taillights, and dual chrome exhaust outlets. As a White Arrow Edition example, it features gloss black hardtop roof accents and rides on 19” AMG 7-twin spoke wheels in titanium silver. The cabin is appointed with Black and Biscaya Blue Nappa leather. The White Arrow Edition includes Designo black piano lacquer trim, AMG seats, a two-tone leather steering wheel, black floormats, illuminated door sills, soft-close doors, Night View Assist+, Driver Assistance Package, Distronic+ with pre-safe braking, active blind spot assist, and lane keeping assist. Standard amenities include Keyless Go, ambient lighting, dual-zone automatic climate control, AIRSCARF ventilated headrests, heated & ventilated front seats, a Harmon/Kardon LOGIC7 Surround Sound System, and a COMAND system with navigation.
This SL550 equips a twin-turbocharged 4.7-liter V8 engine, factory rated at 429 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by a 7G-Tronic Plus seven-speed automatic transmission, allowing acceleration from 0-60 MPH in just 4.1 seconds. Performance features include Active Body Control (ABC) electronically adjustable suspension, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and Automatic Slip Reduction (ASR). The seller adds that the main battery and auxiliary battery were recently replaced.

@rocketman sorry. We posted the pictures to indicate this. The tires are in excellent condition with no flat spots and even deep tread around. However, due to age; some would choose to replace.

@rkaufman11021...are there any issues in the interior with the factory leather drying out and stretching/pulling away from the surfaces? VERY common on these cars to occur around the front of the dash at the windshield base....etc. Please advise. Thank you.
@rocketman No sir. It's purely been the due to the lack of use. European vehicles that aren't used often will drain battery quite quickly. The more technology and operating functions in a vehicle, the quicker a battery can drain if it's not being used. The simple fix with lack of use would be a trickle charger. There are no issues with the vehicle whatsoever
