Tracing its roots back to the original W460 G-Class military vehicle built by Mercedes-Benz and Steyr-Daimler-Puch in 1979, the modern W463 G-Class offers modern luxury and high-end finishes while maintaining a rugged utilitarian design. This 2015 example is a G550 finished in Iridium Silver over Black leather, powered by a 5.5-liter V8 engine mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission with a two-speed transfer case and triple locking differentials. Showing approximately 63k miles on the odometer and benefitting from a recent service, this G Wagen is now being offered for auction by its original owner out of California.
This G550 is finished in Iridium Silver and features a chrome front brush guard and spare tire carrier, running boards, fender flares, side moldings, and side-exit exhaust pipes.
