In 2014, Maserati celebrated its 100th anniversary by unveiling the Maserati GranTurismo MC Centennial Edition, a special version of their luxurious high-performance sports car, the GranTurismo. Designed by Pininfarina and assembled in Modena, the GranTurismo MC was offered as the flagship vehicle in Maserati’s lineup featuring aggressive aerodynamic bodywork, a stiffened suspension, a sport exhaust system, and a revised 4.7-liter V8 engine generating over 460 HP. This 2015 GranTurismo MC Centennial Edition is finished in black over a bespoke black & red leather interior and features the Full Carbon Package which includes carbon fiber on the hood, seatbacks, side skirts, door handles, and interior trim. This Maserati is now offered for auction by its second owner out of New Jersey with approximately 27k miles showing on the odometer.
This GranTurismo MC is finished in black and showcases revised styling inspired by Maserati’s GT4, GTD, and Trofeo race cars. The MC model can be identified by the air intakes in the hood, a large front splitter, a rear spoiler, and an aggressive rear valence. This MC also features Maserati-scripted Rosso (red) painted brake calipers, dual exhaust, and a carbon fiber spoiler, hood, and door handles. It rides on 20” MC Design Matte Graphite Alloy wheels with centenary logo center caps. New Continental ExtremeContact tires were mounted in 2017 and are said to remain in excellent condition. The seller notes a minor imperfection on the edge of the driver's door and some curb rash on one of the rims. A collection of detailed images is provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Centennial Edition-specific cabin features extensive carbon fiber trim, black leather upholstery, and bespoke white contrast stitching & red leather trim along the seats, floormats, armrests, and door panels. All four seats feature red Maserati trident insignias embroidered on the headrests. The optional Full Carbon Package provides carbon fiber trim on the dashboard, door panels, door sills, center console, gauge cluster surround, gear selector, seatbacks, and steering wheel. Additional features include 8-way power seats, a Bose Sound System, dual-zone automatic climate control, an analog clock in the dash, a 7” multimedia system with navigation, aluminum MC sport pedal covers, and cruise control. All gauges and accessories are said to be working properly.
Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.7-liter V8 DOHC engine developed in collaboration with Ferrari, the MC also receives a special Formula 1-derived diamond-like antifriction coating throughout its internals which helps to achieve an output of 454 HP and 384 lb.-ft of torque. The MC also comes standard with a chrome-plated stainless steel sports exhaust system, a stiffer suspension, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters that sends power to the rear wheels. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in as little as 4.5 seconds with a top speed of over 180 MPH. The CARFAX report shows 13 service history records including a four-wheel alignment and steering gear replacement in 2020, followed by a tire replacement, front brake pad replacement, and an oil & filter change in 2022.
This sale will include a clean title (lien), owner’s manuals, a tool kit, and a car cover.
