Following in the footsteps of the iconic 288 GTO, F40, F50, and Enzo, the LaFerrari was created to be the marque's ultimate road-going supercar showcasing some of the most advanced technology developed for the racetrack. It was the first production Ferrari to use a hybrid electric powertrain, featuring a 6.3L V12 producing 789 HP with an additional 161 HP coming from the HY-KERS electric motor.  Only 499 examples of the LaFerrari were ever produced and sold new exclusively to VIP clients of Ferrari. This particular example is one of a kind, presented in special triple-layer Rosso Fuoco paint with carbon-fiber exterior trim, embroidered headrests, forged 20” dark-painted wheels, and more. It was originally delivered to Ferrari of Houston and later joined the current owner's collection in New York alongside other legendary Ferrari supercars. This masterpiece of design and automotive technology is now being offered for auction with just over 2k miles driven from new.

The LaFerrari was styled by The Ferrari Design led by Flavio Manzoni, also responsible for the F12, FXX-K, Roma, 812, and Monza SP1/SP2. The chassis of the LaFerrari is from four different types of hand-laminated carbon fiber, using the same production methods and procedures as Ferrari’s Formula 1 race cars. It is built with a carbon-fiber monocoque structure designed by Ferrari’s F1 technical director Rory Byrne, which provides 27% more torsional rigidity and 22% more beam stiffness than its predecessor, the Enzo. The F1-inspired aerodynamics dramatically shaped the LaFerrari’s body, with a sharp downward-sloping nose, and a low hood line that emphasizes powerful wheel arches inspired by late-1960s Ferrari sports prototypes. It employs a number of active aerodynamic aids, such as the adjustable rear spoiler, dynamic flaps at the rear diffuser, and another pair of moving flaps at the front underbody.

This example was custom ordered in the special triple-layer paint color of Rosso Fuoco, which has been completely preserved under clear 3M protective film and a ceramic coating. The optional carbon-fiber “lower part” option has been selected, which equips an exposed carbon-fiber front splitter, rear diffuser, and side sills, in addition to optional carbon-fiber fog light housings. Other design features include heavily-sculpted side air intakes, a vented hood, Scuderia fender shields, butterfly doors, and aerodynamic mirrors mounted on carbon-fiber stalks. The large yellow Brembo carbon-ceramic brake calipers sit behind optional center-locking 19”/20” dark-finished forged alloy wheels mounted with original Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires. The car has remained part of an indoor climate-controlled collection, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin features low-slung bucket seats mounted directly to the carbon-fiber tub, while the pedal box and steering wheel are adjustable to suit the driver. The seats are trimmed in black leather with red accents, embroidered Cavallino emblems, and a matching red lower dashboard. The upper dashboard is trimmed in black Alcantara in addition to the center console storage lid, floor-mounted fire extinguisher holder, and headliner. Carbon fiber trim spans the dashboard, continuing to the center console and flat-bottomed steering wheel which houses an LED tachometer at the top, black Alcantara grips, LaFerrari badging, shift paddles, a red ignition button, and the Manettino switch. The driver is supplied with a 12.3" TFT display, dual-zone climate control, a 4-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, Bluetooth streaming, and cruise control.

The LaFerrari is powered by a longitudinally rear mid-mounted F140 6.3L V12, which generates 789 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque, supplemented by a 161 HP HY-KERS electric motor mounted to the rear of the transmission.  A total output of up to 963 HP and 664 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed Getrag dual-clutch transmission and Ferrari eDiff3 electronic limited-slip differential, which allows the LaFerrari to reach 60 MPH in a blistering 2.6 seconds while continuing to a top speed of 217 MPH. The LaFerrari is outfitted with a number of performance features, such as advanced CST electronic stability control, high-performance ABS and electronic brake distribution, EF1-Trac 1 electronic traction control, SMC-E Frs magnetorheological damping with twin solenoids, and CCM3 carbon-ceramic brakes by Brembo. The CARFAX report shows previous maintenance carried out by Ferrari of Houston and Ferrari of Newport Beach. In preparation for the sale, an annual service is being completed by Ferrari of Long Island at a cost of over $10k including an oil change, brake fluid flush, coolant flush, power steering service, engine air filters, wiper blades, and the engine accessory belt, a major service item which requires the voltage battery to be dropped out of the bottom of the vehicle.

This sale will include a set of two keys, owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, car cover, charging equipment, and a clean title. One of Ferrari's all-time great supercars, this stunning Rosso Fuoco LaFerrari would become a crown jewel in any world-class collection.

I have received a few questions in regards to the battery health report. Please note that this car has no issues and charges flawlessly. For complete confidence, the winning bidder will receive a battery health report from an authorized Ferrari dealership before wiring any funds.
