The seller adds that the driver's seat and floor mat have never been used without covers and all passenger seats have remained basically unused. All interior components and leather have also been treated with CarPro's Quartz Leather Shield Ceramic Coating.
The S55 engine was custom-built, balanced, and blueprinted by KRATOS and produces up to 1,368 HP (1163whp) at the maximum output of the turbo system. The seller states the engine internals are capable of supporting significantly more power and the turbo system is currently set at the low boost setting for 850whp. The high boost setting can be activated via the Bootmod Map Switch. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed M Twin-Clutch DCT transmission featuring the latest Dodson Sportsman Plus Clutch Kit with a billet basket which is currently unavailable for sale to the general public. The seller states this car still holds the record for the fastest S55 in the world for the standing half-mile at 183 MPH at the 2019 Wannagofast Event in Florida at the lower power setting of only 850whp. @matpatte my stock weight 991.1 Turbo S at about 3,600 pounds hit GPS verified 181.6 mph in the half mile at a Shift Sector event with 692 wheel horsepower (stock car with a couple bolt ons). You don't need anywhere near 1,100. This M3 would be traction-limited but at full tilt would expect it to hit 190ish.
@matpatte No sir it's not a typo. If you look at the IG link of the in-car 1/2 mile run and scroll to the right, you'll see the Dragy data which shows 147.29mph in the 1/4 mile during that run. If you compare it to our 1/4 mile run at the track you'll notice the mph figures are within 2 mph at the same 850whp. This can be attributed to the fact that the 1/4 mile run at the track was a prepped surface and the 1/2 mile run was a slower start with no track prep at all since it was done at an airstrip. Also, the 1/2 mile in-car video was only our second run which we were still testing at lower boost because the airstrip was extremely sketchy and already had barely any traction until end of 4th going into 5th due to all the sand on the airstrip. We also would've needed slicks to turn the power up to full tilt. Couple that with the track conditions and that's why I chose not to turn the power up any further. In the video you can also see the power meter on the I-Drive screen showing the power output with full traction in 5th. Last thing worth mentioning is that the powerband has a lot to do with the power you need to run a 183mph in the 1/2 mile. This particular car has a very broad powerband and continues to climb as you rev to the limiter.
Is it a typo that the car went 183mph in the standing 1/2 mile at "850whp"?
In my 1/2 mile experience, it takes atleast 1100whp to hit that speed at 3600lbs.

@burnrubr This car will easily produce 700whp on pump 93 alone. Here's a link to our IG of another F80 M3 with virtually the identical setup as mine producing 702whp on 93 pump with no meth and no port injection on. The only difference is that my car has a more efficient and robust cooling system to decrease air intake temperatures significantly more with a much larger and higher flowing intercooler in addition to the custom 5 gallon cooling reservoir and high flow pump. Btw, you can add up to 2 bags of ice into the chill tank for 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile runs which will bring the intake air temperatures down into the 45-50 degree range depending on your starting ambient temps. Another thing worth noting is that this dyno run was done on a Mainline dyno which is known to be one of the most accurate dynos in the world while at the same time widely known to read lower than a dynojet.

@AmirAryan Here are some links from our IG page I was referring to. Keep in mind that the 1/4 mile run was done on stock wheels with stock size R888R's and without launching. We weren't looking for ET's, we were just trying to collect soma data and to see what kind of mph the car would hit at the same 850whp level we ran at the 1/2 mile. The car ran a pretty solid 150mph in the 1/4 Mile . The 1/2 mile run was done with the current set of Belak Beadlock wheels and 305/35/18 R888R's at 183mph in the standing half mile. The Dragy figures of 60-130mph in 4.61 and 100-200kph in 3.94 were also done at 850whp. Given that 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 60-130mph, and 100-200kph runs were all done at 850whp, the car is capable of significantly higher mph's and lower 60-130mph/100-200kph figures at full power.

Are there any driving videos of you pushing it? There is none on instagram and the videos attached to this listing don’t show any of the pulls and etc…thanks!
@garrege Yes, that was an old ad and the asking price at the time was a presumptive value based on previous market values as well as considering the mileage, condition, and value of work performed. I also understand that markets fluctuate and after serious consideration have aggressively reassessed the value to be much more realistic, competitive, and reflective of the current market. That being said, the reserve is priced to sell.
@ambone Thank you! Yes, please check out our company IG account @asr.kratos and you'll find videos and pictures of this car referencing dyno data, pulls, 60-130, 1/2 mile, etc.
Very cool. Any videos of this car performing (pulls, Dyno, etc.)? This is a beast!
@burnrubr I appreciate it! Yes, it's definitely not one of those overbuilds done by some backyard mechanic retail shops. If you check out our IG page @asr.kratos you'll see we're a well recognized OEM Fitment Performance Turbo Manufacturer that specializes in our Patented Dual Ceramic Ball Bearing Turbo Systems for many different BMW platforms. All bidders can rest assured knowing this is a quality build done by professionals with over 30 years experience in the automotive racing industry.
Bid in the amount of $30,000
@de91218 thanks, now it does make sense i thought it's one of those backyard overbuild that didn't worked out. I''ll put a bid in to bump you up
@burnrubr Appreciate the positive feedback! This car was originally purchased as one of my pleasure vehicles for weekend use and not as as my primary daily driver. I've owned every generation of M3 since the E36 and they all had very low mileage when sold. The first 4500 miles were driven in completely stock form. However, since I work for KRATOS Turbos Engineering Division and we were developing a turbo system for the S55, we decided to use it for product development and dyno testing for KRATOS Turbos. When we design turbo systems, we 3D scan the engine compartment and use that data to design and develop our OEM Fitment Performance Turbo Systems. As part of that development process we test fit the components and perform dyno testing. So, all the work that was performed on this car was strictly for product development to showcase the capabilities of our turbos systems rather than for personal pleasure. All the daily street beta testing for our turbos was done on other higher mileage M3's within the company. Since this car was in pristine condition and had very low mileage, it was decided that we would use it more to showcase the products and for advertising purposes. It was also rarely ever driven after all the performance work since I never really had much time to drive it and own other vehicles. Not driving it and enjoying it more is actually one of my regrets. Hoping the future owner of this car will really get a chance to enjoy it for what it is!
nice toy! just wondering why sellin her after all the extensive build? not enough power for ya? this thing is a monster!
Asking price from an old ad appears to be $119,000.
Bucket up bidders.
@garrege Lol...didn't want to give the camera man a heart attack! All kidding aside though, just wanted show how easily the car can be driven by anyone under normal daily driving conditions.
@JPW17 Appreciate the positive feedback!
@Damaho912 Much appreciated! Drivability and reliability are key and what separates this car from most other daily driver vehicles at this kind of power level. With power turned down to low boost 22psi@750whp, it's extemely docile as a daily driver and the sound can be toned down significantly through the electronically actuated exhaust flap.
Driver : Use the pedal on the right.
Amazing build!
With 1300 hp, certainly not the driving video I was expecting!
