Aston Martin’s flagship grand touring sports car from 2004 to 2016, the V12-powered DB9 was the first model to have been produced at the new factory in Gaydon, Warwickshire, and also the first to use Aston Martin’s bonded aluminum VH Platform that would be shared across the model range. This 2015 example comes finished in AML Carbon Black over an Obsidian Black leather interior and comes equipped with an optional Sport Muffler, Contemporary Alcantara trim, leather headlining, carbon fiber door releases, a black Alcantara steering wheel, and Bang & Olufsen BeoSound Audio. Sold new in Texas where it remains to this day, this DB9 is now being offered for auction with under 4k miles showing on the odometer.
Constructed almost entirely from aluminum, the bodywork of the DB9 was originally designed by Ian Callum and Henrik Fisker featuring a traditional Aston Martin grille, side strakes, and swan wing doors. This example is finished in Aston Martin Lagonda (AML) Carbon Black with optional exterior door releases in carbon fiber. It rides on factory 10-Spoke Graphite Diamond Turned wheels dressed in a set of Pirelli P Zero tires. The seller notes the front tires show about 70% tread remaining while the original rear tires show about 50%. Clear paint protection film covers the front end, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is lined with Obsidian Black Bridge of Weir leather upholstery with Contemporary Alcantara inserts, an optional steering wheel in black Alcantara, and leather headlining. Standard features include heated and power-adjustable front seats with position memory, auto-dimming mirrors, a satellite navigation system, parking sensors, and a reversing camera. This example also features the optional Bang & Olufsen BeoSound Audio system optioned at an additional cost of over $5k. The seller notes an integrated K40 radar detector system has been installed.
The DB9’s naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 engine sends up to 510 HP to the rear wheels through a ZF Touchtronic 2 5-speed transmission. Using this shiftable-automatic gearbox, the DB9 reaches 60 MPH from a standstill in less than 5 seconds. Performance features include 4-wheel ventilated carbon ceramic disc brakes, a 3-stage Adaptive Damping System (ADS), and an optional Sport Muffler. The seller states that routine maintenance has been carried out as needed.
This sale will include a clean title, owner's manuals, and four keys.

@d890758 Good morning. There is a very slight indention that is much harder to find or see in person. I will put some conditioner on it and it may improve. The radar detecter is mounted un the grill and there are two lights on the corner of the dash when it goes off. Las a speaker under the dash out of place.

Good evening, in photo 62, can you explain what the apparent mark or indentation is in the lower center on the passenger side of the dashboard above the glovebox assuming it is not some type of reflection? Can you also speak a bit about the integrated K40 installation, or do you have any associated photos showing the installation and control locations?

@Tangerine997 They were sent Thursday, I will follow up with Pcar now.
Still waiting on Pcar to upload the window sticker and under carriage pix.
Thanks.
The mean price for 2015 DB9s is $97,147 with a mean mileage of 20,832. That figure includes one rebuilt and one accident model, which affect average price. This appears to be one of the lower mileage cars available, suggesting most of us with DB9s drive them! Nice examples are listed for $100K to $110K
Bid in the amount of $50,000
@RipCity TIRE DATE CODES ARE LATE 14. ALTHOUGH THEY ARE IN GREAT SHAPE, YOU COULD ARGUE FOR REPLACEMENT IF YOUR PLANNING ON HIGH SPEED DRIVING. IT HAD FLUID CHANGES WHEN INSPECTED ANNUALLY, AND I WIL LOOK FOR THOSE RECORDS.
@Vikingh thanks for your reply. Recognizing there are substantial time -based services as part of the service schedule despite low mileage, are there records of these maintenance visits? I love the low mileage, but would like to overcome my practical fear that it has sat around without upkeep. Any records are very much appreciated!
Also, assuming tires are original, so date codes before 2015? Again sorry if I missed any of this, but have made effort to look. Your replies are appreciated.
@RipCity THANKS FOR YOUR QUESTIONS. THE SEATS ARE IN GREAT SHAPT.. THE CAMERA GUY HAD HIS CAMERA THERE WHEN HE WENT TO PICTURE IT APEARS. WILL SEND ADDITIONAL PHOTOS MONDAY IF NEED BE, OR WE CAN FACETIME IF YOU WOULD PREFER. CAR WAS SERVICED WHEN NEEDED. WHICH WAS NOT MUCH BASED ON THE MILES, BUT IT HAD ANNUAL FLUID CHANGES IN ADDITION.
Nice spec for a 9. Questions on both front seats, if you please. Is that a big stain or gunk of some kind on driver seat? On passenger, please tell me it doesn't have irreversible child car seat indentations or, not actually meaning at all to be snarky, can you say more about those markings, please?
Can you speak to any service reconditioning or inspections and such, in preparation for sale? Thank you again. You help with understanding condition is appreciated.

@Tangerine997 Correct on PPF. There is no paintwork, but I will try to find a meter today for you.
@VikingH So the PPF covers the full hood and full front fenders to the door jams?
If so, can you post paint meter readings for the rest of the car.
Thanks.
@Tangerine997 Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.. I just uploaded underneath pics. iPhone so not the quality of the others. only rash is under front on passenger side, but it is on the clear bra. easy to pull and replace that clear bra section if needed.
GLWTA
@VikingH thanks for the quick response but no pressure. It's the holiday.
@Tangerine997 Thanks for your questions. I have uploaded a copy of the window sticker, it should appear shortly. I will try and get some photos of the underside later today. The car has PPF / clear bra on the entire front and the paint is all original from the factory. No paintwork.
Bid in the amount of $44,444
@VikingH Beautiful car and spec.
Do you have the window sticker or build sheet.
Paint meter readings and some pictures of the under carriage would be helpful.
Thanks.
Good afternoon Pcarmarket community.. Let me know if I can answer any questions on this "as new" low mileage DB9..
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
