Available for auction at no reserve is this 2014 Piaggio Vespa LX 125 finished in Grigio Titanio with black upholstery. Equipped with a 125cc single-cylinder 4-stroke engine paired with a continuously variable transmission, this European-market Vespa was originally delivered to the Cayman Motor Museum on the Cayman Islands and has remained virtually unused since. Recently serviced in preparation for its next owner, this Vespa is now being offered out of California showing approximately 29 kilometers (18 miles) on the odometer.
The LX line received a styling update in 2012 which included a revised front horn grill, a new speedometer, and other small details. The 125 LX features a monocoque steel body and this example comes finished in Grigio Titanio and features a single seat upholstered in black vinyl. The exterior is said to remain nicely preserved apart from minor scuffs that were sustained during transport. Equipment includes an analog speedometer and odometer, under-seat storage, a clock, chrome trim, street lighting, mirrors, and cast aluminum wheels. Detailed images can be found in the gallery.
Powered by an air-cooled 3-valve 125cc 4-stroke single-cylinder engine paired with a CVT transmission, the LX 125 has a top speed of approximately 55 mph. The suspension consists of an aircraft-derived hydraulic single-side arm with Anti-Dive characteristics in front, and a dual-effect hydraulic shock absorber in the rear. Stopping is handled by front and rear drum brakes. A service is said to have been carried out in January of 2022 which included the installation of a new battery.
This Vespa is offered on a bill of sale.

NO RESERVE!! NO RESERVE!!! NO RESERVE!!!
Some lucky person will be having a lot of fun this summer, the Vespa is ready to roll. All of the maintenance is up to date inc new battery. They are twist and go so easy to ride, great MPG and super low maintenance. I will do my best to answer any last minute questions but will finally be traveling back from vacation after 2 cancelled flights. Good luck!
@Alex I was advised that there should be no issues registering when I bought them, each state has differing rules re mopeds/scooters and I would advise potential bidders to check what their state rules are before bidding so there's no confusion. I'm def no expert.
Is it street legal in USA?

Hi Everyone, welcome to my 2nd auction. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see the Vespa’s in person, I’m available all week.
I bought two for my vacation home for my wife and I to run around on, needless to say she thought otherwise. They’ve been sat in my garage for the last 8 months and we are now due to go into major construction so it’s time for someone else to have some fun. They are literally brand new other than some scuffs from storage and transportation. I’m here all week to answer questions.
Good luck!
