We are pleased to offer this 2014 Porsche 981 Boxster S presented in Black over a black interior. This 2014 example was purchased by the seller as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Rusnak Westlake Porsche in California at approximately 11k miles. It has been garage-kept and carefully looked after ever since with approximately 5k miles driven per year on average and all scheduled service addressed by authorized Porsche dealers. Showcasing exclusive interior and exterior painted accents, 20” Carrera S wheels, the Infotainment Package with Bose Surround Sound, and many other premium options, this Boxster S is now being offered for auction by its second owner out of California while showing just over 30k miles on the odometer.
The understated Black finish is carried throughout the exterior with an optional painted rear fascia, rear side air intakes, and supplemental safety rollbar. Other exclusive details include tinted taillights and 20” Carrera S wheels finished in Platinum Satin with colored Porsche center crests. The Black finish is said to remain in excellent condition with clear paint protection film applied over the hood and front bumper. New Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires are also said to have been mounted within the last 4k miles.
Inside, the black standard leather interior is decorated with the optional Painted Interior Package along with a painted center console, Porsche crested headrests, and a SportDesign steering wheel. Amenities include heated and ventilated 14-way Power Sport Seats, the Premium Package, Infotainment Package with BOSE® Surround Sound System, and Bi-Xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS).
This Boxster S derives power from a mid-mounted 3.4 L flat-six engine paired with a rapid 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. 315 HP and 266 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.7 seconds. All scheduled service is said to have been completed at the authorized Porsche dealerships of Rusnak Porsche in California and Porsche Chandler in Arizona. All service documents will be provided with the car including invoices for front brake pads, rotors, hardware, and sensors replaced in October 2018 at 21,636 miles, a new battery installed June 2020 at 29,366 miles, and a 30k mile service including an oil change, brake fluid flush, new coolant reservoir, and professional detailing recently in January of 2021 at Chandler Porsche.
This sale will include the original window sticker, CPO package, authentication letter, service records, and a key with a leather pouch. A very well maintained and tastefully equipped example with just over 30k miles traveled from new, this Boxster S is ready to please its next owner.

Hi there,
1. What was the hardware replaced in October 2018 at 21,636 miles?

3.Any ceramic applied?
4. Any PPF applied besides the mentioned front bumper and hood?
Beautiful car. GLWA
@u00rzo1 '
We just showed one in the pouch, also included.
@u00rzo1 ,
Definitely 2 keys.
Thanks
@radonculous ,
Thanks for your comments. The front rotors are designed with a series of milled, concentric ridges which may have triggered the comment about grooves. Rear rotors are worn, and they'll need replacement at some point. With no track time on this car, I assume these will last somewhere nearer the high end of the ranges posted on RL.
Thanks again, I appreciate the constructive comments.
Just to be clear, there is only one key coming with he car, right?
One of the best cars we've owned we've had two 2013s with an aggregate of over 100k miles, someone is in for a treat. Nice spec here too.
@u00rzo1 they were also replaced on our 2013 BS and a friends 991S apparently a common issue and covered by warranty and some even replaced by goodwill as read about on RL
@jbradford7347 ,
Front rotors replaced in 2018 at 21636 miles and are barely worn. Rear rotors are original, and obviously have more wear. Rotor wear not highlighted as an issue by the dealer at the 30K mile service. If you include your contact info, I'll send you close-up photos.
Thanks for your interest.
have the rotors ever been replaced? they look like they have some pretty deep grooves in them.
@u00rzo1 ,
No explanation from dealer. I don't know if it is unusual or not. It may have been heat or sun in California. The obvious problem was on the driver side, just a slight separation appearing at the top of the door, creating a small gap between the interior door trim from the window. The dealer replaced the passenger side somewhat proactively, I think, as the problem there was not obvious.
Have you received any explanation from dealer on possible root cause of lose panels on both doors? Door panels on Boxster are extremely tight and are hard to remove. The problem sounds very unusual.
Bid in the amount of $30,000
Welcome all to my auction. I'll be checking in on how it's going, and I'm ready to answer any questions about the car to help you as you consider it.
