This 2014 Porsche 981 Boxster comes finished in Sapphire Blue Metallic over Yachting Blue and pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its mid-mounted 2.7-liter engine. Featuring the Premium Package and Infotainment Package including the Bose Surround Sound System this one-owner Boxster is now being offered for auction out of Alabama while showing less than 46k miles on the odometer.
This Boxter comes finished in Sapphire Blue Metallic with a blue convertible soft top and rides on factory 18” Boxster wheels. Optional details include colored Porsche-crested wheel center caps as well as rear side air intakes and supplemental safety roll-bar painted in the exterior color. A Gtechniq ceramic coating has been applied to the exterior and the seller reports that the rear trunk lid was replaced due to hail damage, and the front clip was replaced following damage that occurred while parked in a store lot. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Appointed with Yachting Blue upholstery, the cabin is equipped with the Premium Package which adds dual-zone climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, and front seat heating and ventilation. The Infotainment Package with Bose Surround Sound System was additionally opted for. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.
Powering the Boxster is a mid-mounted 2.7-liter flat-six engine delivering 265 HP and 207 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The car can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 5.5 seconds. Standard performance features include VarioCam Plus, Enhanced Porsche Stability Management (PSM), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR), and Automatic Brake Differential (ABD). The CARFAX report shows 8 service history records, and the seller adds that a major service was performed at 40k miles by Porsche Huntsville in Alabama.
This sale will include the original owner’s manuals, sales brochure/literature, complete service records, two keys, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “We have owned this car since new in April 2014. It is my wife's car and has not been abused in any way. All maintenance was performed by the dealer and is up to date including the major at 40,000.”

Nice one…I was ready to hit another bid and took a look at my overflowing garage/driveway!:)
Sweet! I’ve owned quite a few Porsches including several Boxsters. Never a 981 though, I really liked the blue/blue combo. Don’t see that often. Manual is bonus.
Sold for $29,000
Good buy. Should be a fun little scooter.

Good morning, bidders
This is the last few hours of my auction and I have removed the reserve. Goodbye, Boxster it will be sold today.
I wholeheartedly agree. Lower the top and listen to that flat six.
The clutch seems to be fine. I rely on the dealer to advise me of any needed maintenance and they have never mentioned the clutch.
@uw2010 Thanks for the extra effort in researching your spec. I just wanted to get the spec right for my valuation of the car. I really don't care much about the radio. I'd much rather listen to the sweet music of the inline 6 as I drive down the road ;-)
Any idea what shape/condition the clutch is in?
At this mileage it might be due...
Appreciate all your candor and honesty.
Well done, sir.

I did more research on the BOSE question by reading 2014 Boxster literature. It appears that cars equipped with BOSE have the BOSE logo on the door speaker grills which our car lacks. In spite of the PCNA statement, I now doubt whether we have the BOSE system. If that is a critical criteria for you, this may not be a good choice. Having said that, whatever the audio system is, it sounds just as good as the BOSE in my 911 in my opinion. The dealer never furnished the window sicker which would resolve this question.

I received a Certificate of Authenticity from the President and Chief Executive Officer of Porsche Cars North America. This is what it lists as optional equipment -
Rear side intakes painted
Sport Design steering wheel
Painted safety bar
Seat ventilation
Wheel center caps w/color crest
Convenience package
Infotainment package w/BOSE
Just checking...The description says this one has the Bose system, but that doesn't jibe with Vinanalytics which shows Infotainment Package with Sound Package Plus (P9F) not Infotainment Package with BOSE® Surround Sound System (P9G ). Also, the description says it has the Premium Package (P94), but I believe it has the Convenience Package (P93). The premium has upgraded sports seats.

@Woody Yes, that is the wonder of paintless dent repair. The paint is not touched as the dent is somehow popped out. On the front clip and fender and rear trunk which was replaced with a new Porsche part there was a respray but it is undetectable as I hope that the photos can convey.
Bid in the amount of $25,000
Does the blue match well In all light settings from the repairs?
@JasonJ While parked at a hotel there was a hail storm overnight that damaged the front trunk and fenders and the rear trunk. The rear trunk had to be replaced by the Porsche dealer and the rest was fixed using paintless dent repair. This technique is really amazing because as you can see in the photos the repairs are perfect.
The other incident was in a Sam's Club parking lot. As captured on surveillance video, a Nissan backed into the left front and fled, The front clip and front left fender were repaired by the Porsche dealer. Carfax (last photos) has the dates.
Can you tell us about the damage to the car...when it happened, what happened, what was damaged and what was done to fix it?
Thanks
The top is dark blue, not black.
