Up for auction is this 2014 Porsche 991 Carrera Coupe finished in Guards Red over a black interior. Highlighting exclusive options including 20” Carrera Classic wheels, a SportDesign steering wheel, and the Bose Audio Package, this Carrera was sold at an original sticker price of over $97k. A recent full service was also carried out in preparation for sale which included all new tires, brake pads and rotors. Said to remain eligible for a Porsche CPO status, this 1-owner 2014 example is now being offered in pristine condition by its seller in New York while showing just over 14k miles on the odometer.
The traditional Guard Red finish is noted to be in outstanding condition with a professional paint correction recently performed to ensure the best possible appearance (detailed images are provided in the photo gallery). Optional features on this example include a sliding glass sunroof and 20” Carrera Classic wheels that have been recently dressed in brand new Pirelli P-Zero tires.
The black interior features a SportDesign steering wheel, heated seats, and the Bose Audio Package. The cabin is reported to be like-new while retaining full functionality over all accessories and electronics. A copy of the factory build sheet is also provided for reference in the photo gallery.
This first generation 991 is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.4 L flat-six engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. 345 HP and 288 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels allowing the Carrera to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4.6 seconds. This example has been optioned with Power Steering Plus which provides a dynamic speed-sensitive steering response for improved handling and maneuverability. All recommended service was a carried out through a Porsche dealership under the original owner’s care and a recent full service was performed in preparation for sale which included all new brake pads and rotors. This 991 is said to be in like-new driving condition for its next owner.

@flatsechs @flatsechs, as a Porsche dealer we reconditioned this car so it could be Porsche Certified if the new owner wants. The tires had lots of tread life remaining but were original and had to be replaced due to age. The brakes had developed a vibration after the car sat in the customer garage unused for about two years. We opted to replace the pads, rotors, and hardware rather than hoping it would clear up .

Can you give us a little commentary on why it would need new tires, rotors, and pads with only 14K miles?
I have a 2013 991 4S coupe that I bought new, and I currently have 60,000 miles on it. These cars are bullet proof! Unlike a Ferrari, the leather doesn't peel off the dash, the buttons don't melt in the sun, and the seats don't wear like they are made from tulip leaves. A Ferrari is definitely sexier, but if you want to WORRY-FREE enjoyment, these 991.1 Porsches are the bomb.
