Sporting genuine bodywork from Porsche Motorsports North America (PMNA), this 2014 example was transformed with GT3 Cup-inspired modifications under prior ownership. It remains street legal and features upgraded aerodynamics, three-piece BBS wheels, OMP racing seats, safety harnesses, a roll bar, GT3 Cup air intake, and Tarett drop links. The car was also factory optioned with a front axle lift system, Sound Package Plus, a SportDesign steering wheel, additional leather trim, and Guards Red interior accents. Used sparingly in noncompetitive DE events since 2018 and routinely serviced after each outing, this Cup-style 2014 GT3 is now being offered for auction with just over 25k miles on the odometer.

This GT3 came factory-finished in White and has received a genuine PMNA GT3 Cup front bumper, hood, fenders, decklid, and rear wing. Optional LED headlights were equipped from the factory and the car rides on a set of three-piece 19” BBS Motorsport wheels dressed in Pirelli R-compound tires (2020). The seller states the wheels have been inspected for damage and reports tire wear at about 50%. The front end and lower side of the vehicle are preserved under clear paint protection film and the seller describes the finish to be in excellent overall condition with only minor stone marks. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The black interior includes factory-exclusive seatbelts and instrument dials in Guards Red as well as an optional SportDesign steering wheel, Sport Chrono Clock, and center console trim in leather. Other factory options include an extended-range fuel tank, front axle lift system, Sound Package Plus, a Bluetooth interface, Light Design Package, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), and a fuel cap with an aluminum-look finish. A pair of fixed OMP XL racing seats have been fitted along with 6-point Schroth safety harnesses and a painted roll bar. The factory 3-point seatbelts remain functional, and the seller states the original seats are available to the next owner. The seller notes Airbag/seatbelt warning icons are present as a result of the modifications installed.

The naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine revs up to 9k-RPM and was factory rated at 475 HP and 324 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. A GT3 Cup air intake has been installed for increased power along with adjustable Tarett drop links for suspension tuning. The seller reports the car has been used for about three DE track events per year since 2018 with services completed after each event.  A full inspection was performed in August 2022 and the wheel hubs were recently serviced as well. A transferrable warranty remains in effect until February 2025.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, some documentation, and a clean title.

  • MattShaw (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@Big_Gravy This GT3 was never optioned with a back-up camera. I will take this opportunity to note the rear bumper cover is stock GT3 without the backup option. The wing and deck lid are Porsche Motorsport.

  • Big_Gravy (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@MattShaw Does it have a backup camera still?

  • MattShaw (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

Monitoring the auction closely to handle any last minute questions. Thank you to all the bidders and interested parties. This GT3 Street Cup is really well done. Drive it to the track, wear out your buddies and enjoy and comfortable, air conditioned ride home with your favorite music. It literally has it all which is hard to do for track and street. Best of luck to all the bidders.

@Jonm3052 Both sets of seats go with the auction. If they have to be shipped its on the buyer.

  • Jonm3052 (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@MattShaw thank you. To be clear the standard porsche seats need to be purchased in addition to the price of the car or they come with the car through the sale?

  • MattShaw (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@Jonm3052 Thanks for reading through the listing. The original, standard GT3 seats go with the car at the buyers expense. They are in perfect shape and properly stored. There are a few pictures of the OE seats and several of the race seats with harnesses.

To further clarify I do not have any other spare parts since our shop did not do the body modifications. I wish I had them, I needs a factory rear decklid and wing.

  • MattShaw (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@Big_Gravy The exterior modifications were done prior to my purchase of the car. Not sure if they were done in California or Mass. Whoever did it is to be commended. Sometimes fitment of Cup body components are not the best. This car is show and go! My shop installed the OMP seats, harnesses, safety gear and new tires. Tires are 2020/approximately 50% remaining. I just recently completed the hub service, oil service and inspection (zero miles on that service). The GT3 is ready for the next track event or outing. Get in and go!

@Jonm3052 Sorry ignore my questions I just read the entire thread. Thank you!

  • Jonm3052 (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

Hi do any of the original parts come with the car? Seats, rear decklid or wheels? Thanks

  • Big_Gravy (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@MattShaw Just to confirm the modifications were done by the second owner In mass?

@bldn10 My Brentwood neighbors love me! They are all enthusiasts and I fix their cars. The math from California to Massachusetts looks correct but I understood the owner originally had the car in California then traded it in Boston. I really don't know all the details of the previous owner. I just know he traded the car at Porsche of Norwell where the car was purchased in 2019 with a CPO warranty through 2024.

Current graphics are on top of PPF and easily removed.

I don't have official lap times for this GT3. It's only been on the track a few times. You can see mileage over the past 3 years is only 3000 miles. It's a very fast car much like any GT3. The most noticeable characteristics unique to this GT3 compared to others is much less understeer, infinite grip and it sounds f-ing great!!! It's just below 100 db to accommodate Road Atlanta, NCM and Barber. I really can't drive this car on the street for all the attention it gets. People do dumb crap like take pictures with their cell phones while a truck in front of them is on the brakes. I end up having do drive for everyone around me. We could start a whole tread on dumb crap people do around exotics but let's stay focused here. Just know if you drive this car on the street its going to get a ton of attention! It looks awesome, sounds awesome and drives fantastic.

  • bldn10 (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

I guess your Brentwood neighbors won't be sorry to see it go :-)
So the mods were done by the previous owner in Mass., who only had it 7 mos. and 2400 miles? Not much enjoyment for all that money and effort. I assume you got it w/ the stickers on it, or are those photos from the previous owner?
    Any lap times?

  • MattShaw (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@Flsupraguy This GT3 has the original motor with absolutely no issues. Blips 9K on a regular basis. Runs and sounds incredible. I monitor it closely for any signs of concern. I own a Porsche performance shop. We are very familiar with all the issues associated with the E, F and G motors. We recommend CPO warranty beyond the 10yr/120 engine warranty from Porsche. This GT3 is covered with CPO until Feb 2024.

  • Flsupraguy (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

Is this a "G" series engine (has the original been replaced by Porsche NA)?

  • MattShaw (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@Big_Gravy Yes, the GT3 is registered in the State of Tennessee. We do require rigorous emisions here and no issues. CarFax will show annual passing of emissions testing in Tennessee.

  • Big_Gravy (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

    is this currently registered?

  • MattShaw (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@Flsupraguy The ride is firm but not a full race setup. The bushings are OE and the shocks are OE. The springs are stiffer than stock but not by much. The alignment is setup more for track than street but that is easily solved. I hope that helps. i have no problem driving it on the street but I have a preference for firm rides.

  • Flsupraguy (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

How harsh is the ride on the street with the current suspension?

  • MattShaw (seller) 2 years, 3 monthsago

@Flsupraguy Thanks for you inquiry. Let’s make it clear to everyone the only OE parts are the standard seats that came with the car. There are no other spares or parts. What you see is what you get plus the factory standard seats.

The exhaust is the OE center muffler only. The side mufflers are removed and they are no longer available with the car.

I encourage all interested parties to read through the listing, study the pictures, documents and read through the comments. I’m happy to provide additional information on items not covered by the listing or comments.

  • Flsupraguy (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

What exhaust is on the car? Do you still have the oem parts?

@devildog All 991.1 GT3 models (2014 - 2016) have a 10-year, 120,000-mile warranty. This particular car also has a CPO warrantee until February 2024. I will also clarify the original engine is running like a champ with no issues.

  • devildog (registered bidder) 2 years, 3 monthsago

Would like to know if this model was subject to the engine recall from Porsche?

Thanks PCARMARKET for hosting this auction. This 991 is a Cup inspired street car. It is setup primarily for the track with safety gear and suspension. It has a great service history and drives awesome! Thanks in advance to all the bidders. I am prepared to respond to any questions and provide additional insight. Good luck and thanks for your interest.
