Up for auction is this 2014 Porsche 991 Carrera 4 Coupe finished in the classic combination of black over a black. Sold new through Brumos Porsche and personally signed by legendary racing driver Hurley Haywood, this 2014 example highlights an original window sticker totaling over $102k and comes equipped with a desirable 7-speed manual transmission. Accompanied by an extensive collection of service records as well as a Brumos CPO certificate, this 991 is said to remain in fantastic condition with approximately 40k miles showing on the odometer.
The black finish on this Carrera 4 is stated to be in very nice condition with some minor signs of road going wear. The seller notes that a ceramic coating was applied last year and maintained with a ceramic extender spray ever since. A collection of detailed images is provided in the photo gallery. Noteworthy details include widened fenders, a center taillight bar and factory 20” Carrera S wheels which are currently dressed in 2017/2018 dated Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The lower corner of the windshield also features an autograph personally signed by Hurley Haywood, Brumos spokesperson and Porsche racing icon.
The driver is situated in a black leather interior with 14-way power Sport seats. Factory options include the Premium Package, Bose® Audio Package, multifunction steering wheel, Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), ventilated front seats, Porsche crested headrests and an electric slide/tilt sunroof. The cabin is stated to be in pristine condition with all accessories remaining fully functional.
A naturally aspirated 3.4 L flat-six engine sends 350 HP to all four wheels by way of a desirable 7-speed manual transmission. Utilizing this drivetrain, the Carrera 4 is capable of accelerating from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4.5 seconds. The optional Power Steering Plus system adds a dynamic steering feel providing for greater precision at high speeds while improving maneuverability at low speeds. Reported to be up to date on all due maintenance, this 991 underwent a routine service in October of 2019 which included fluid and filter changes. The seller confirms this Carrera 4 to be in excellent running order, just waiting to be enjoyed and driven by its next owner.
The sale of this 991 will include a set of two keys, service records, the original window sticker, a Brumos CPO certificate and a Certificate of Authenticity. Do not miss out on your opportunity to own this exceptional 7-speed Carrera 4 originally sold from the world-renowned Brumos Porsche dealership.

@SlickWilly616 Sure thing, but I think the deal is done.
I am kind of missing her already…
Rest assured this beauty is going to a good home - headed back East!
@Peterabrown If for some reason this deal does not consummate ...please reach out to me. This is such a beautiful car ....congratulations to buyer and seller!! I wish I had been more vigilant towards this auction!! :)
@vny57 I sent you a private email - looking forward to our next steps, let me know what I can do to help!
Thanks again,

@Peterabrown thanks! Looks like a great car, looking forward to driving it.
Didn’t mean anything by it. Lovely car, I’m just going to be patient. Enjoy!
@vny57 Well if that is it…you sir just bought yourself a car! If I could do, I would shake your hand!
Congratulations - I think you got her for a very good price.
Enjoy and thank you kindly; while I might be sad to see her go, I am ready for my next project. I hope you enjoy the car as much as I have.
Best regards,
pb
Sold for $45,492
Best of luck @ChasEarp
@ChasEarp Oh sir…isn't it tough to time the bottom. I must say, I have been watching the market on these 911s and this is a very good buy…she is a driver that is in that perfect spot just off of warranty, from an enthusiast and not just a leaser…I think its still scoop-able were we are right now...
Bid in the amount of $45,492
I am also relatively picky when it comes to cars, I detail door jams, you know? With this one I did a lot of rattle elimination and the dealership definitely earned their CPO work isolating my little 'noises' which my dad likes to make fun of me…but the result is a very tight car. Just like I like them! Has been such a joy…after having many 911s over the years, this is the first one that has never needed a drop of oil between changes. Hows THAT!?

Of course all my twice yearly services have included oil changes, mobil 1 full synthetic, 0W40. I have also taken pains to go through every aspect of this car prior to its CPO expiration and the dealership repaired all minor issues (like fresh hood and engine cover struts, etc.) free of charge!

@vny57 Break pads did not show enough wear to need replacement. I am very careful with tires and brakes of course. Car is fully up to date on maintenance and is ready to put into daily service today. Even has a full tank of ethanol free premium gas!
Bid in the amount of $43,749
@vny57 All records are complete. Porsche Beaverton did the service, even matched my best internet price on the Michelins. They have treated me very well.
@vny57 last service was Oct 2019, brake flush last done in May 2019. Tires done at that time. Car had over 30k miles at time of tires and brakes. Current mileage is just over 40k. Tires have plenty of meat on fronts, maybe 3-4mm over wear mark and are just over wear mark on rears, maybe 1mm over wear mark.
Can you please let us know when the brakes were last changed, and how many miles the tires have on them, or when you last changed them? Thanks

The reserve. Is. OFF!
Bid in the amount of $43,000
Peter, I had to sell my Millennium edition when I went overseas and now that I've been back in CONUS for a few years, it is time to find another 911. You have a stunning car and I am also a fan of the ceramic coating after a good friend had it done to his S2000. Thanks

Good day P-Car Market Bidders, Lookers, and Enthusiasts!
We are counting down to auction end…with now less than 24 hours!
I am delighted to see the activity and am happy to answer any and all questions to the best of my ability!
This C4 has been a delight for me and I know she will serve you well!
Happy bidding … and, GOOD LUCK!
Best regards,

@Peterabrown I will include the extremely little remaining of the Miyabi Overcoat spray (so you can see what has been used on the car) that I have used to boost/protect the ceramic coating after washing. I would also say that a good quality spray on ceramic booster (like a spray on wax, but not wax…) would be perfectly acceptable to use as well, as I hear Meguiars and even TurtleWax have come out with some near-pro-level ceramic sprays.
@Peterabrown NOTE: there is also a mirror tap RJ11 (like a telephone connector) for Valentine 1 radar detector for tidy connection to your V1 or similar unit that is switched to power and comes on with ignition (I stowed it by wrapping it around the mirror and it is completely out of sight; if you do not care for it, it comes away easily).
I am also including the original amber side markers (US market side marker lamps), as the Euro/LED clear ones are installed as pictured.
@ChasEarp Thank you sir…she is sure to delight!
Beautiful

Note: The original front Porsche carpet floor mats (unused and like new) are included in the sale, along with the weather tech mats you see in the pics. The driver's side mat has some wear, but the passenger side weather tech is like new.
Also, the battery tender is included (pictured with the books/2 keys/documents) and has direct/hard mount to the battery. Finally, the license plates and their surrounds/attachments are not included, nor are the stickers on the side windows, which have been removed without residue.
@jk356 thank you. No, the CPO warranty expires in October of 2019. There is sometimes the possibility of asking the dealership for an extended warranty, which I did and considered, but as I had no issues with the car I decided against it.
For some, it can be peace of mind, though I very actively maintained this 911 and felt confident in it.
I have paperwork included with sale that shows the various levels of warranty the Porsche Beaverton dealer offered me, along with the biz card of the salesman; perhaps they would extend that offer to you as well?!
Very nice car and well presented
Does any additional time remain on the cpo warranty?
@CRIMLAWGUY my dad told me the same thing! I think the ceramic coating does give it some depth as well. I have had guys tell me "it looks wet, like licorice!" Very satisfying to wash and after the final rinse, spray on a ceramic based detailer solution and wipe her down. I have found that method super easy and repeatable; and I think it makes it sleeker…lol, faster!
Is there any color that looks better when clean than black? Beautiful car, Peter - I hope it does well for you.
Bid in the amount of $20,000
@countryclubfl cheers sir, I have much enjoyed the process - will be sad to see this one go, but she is sure to please!
@Peterabrown very nice presentation. Good luck with the sale.
Hello there PCARMARKET! I am delighted to introduce myself to you and offer my 911 up for auction!
She has been a great car for me, indeed, I was lucky enough to drive her daily back and forth to work (50 miles roundtrip, all highway) for a few years. I bought the car at the end of 2017 from another PCA member and who knew Vu Nguyen well, so a deal was closed (sight unseen). You see, that fellow had a garage full of GT3s and picked up this car with the intention of putting miles on her rather than the others. Life got in the way and I found the car with around 15k miles on the clock and had Reliable ship it to me in Oregon. I serviced the car at Porsche Beaverton in Portland and have been proactive with maintenance (of course I have all paperwork since new, and is included in the sale).
Alas, I needed a pickup truck and the 911 has been on the battery maintainer in the garage, excepting for nice days and to wash and detail! I am embarking on a home build and so the 911 has to go! My dad and uncle were at the LA Lit show and got to meet the PCARMARKET gurus and really were impressed; I myself share the enthusiasm now after working with Adam and Dylan on this auction! Thank you guys!
Please know I will do my best to monitor this auction and answer any questions you might have! Happy bidding and good luck!
