Commemorating a half century of Porsche’s most iconic sports car, the 911 50th Anniversary Edition was offered in 2014 as a special model based on the 991 Carrera S. It features a choice of unique paint colors and exterior trim, a special Classic Interior, 20” Fuchs-style wheels, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), and the X50 Power Kit. This example is one of 1,963 produced in total and is finished in Geyser Grey Metallic over a Black leather Classic Interior with houndstooth upholstery and Dark Silver accents. It was optioned with a 7-speed manual transmission, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) incl. PASM Sport Suspension, LED headlights, ParkAssist, Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, Adaptive Sport Seats Plus, Power Steering Plus, and more. The car also features an aftermarket Fabspeed exhaust, a short shift kit, and ducktail rear spoiler. Purchased by the seller in July 2023, this highly optioned 911 50th Anniversary Edition is now being offered for auction out of California with approximately 35k miles showing on the odometer.
Sharing its bodyshell with the Carrera 4S, the 911 50th Anniversary Edition features wider rear fender than a standard Carrera S along with chrome trim, commemorative badging, SportDesign mirrors and Fuchs-inspired 20” Sport Classic wheels. This example is finished in Geysery Grey Metallic, a rare color that debuted on the 50th Anniversary model and currently offered from Porsche’s exclusive Paint to Sample catalog. It features optional LED headlights, parking sensors, a sliding glass sunroof, and an aftermarket ducktail rear spoiler. The original speed-activated rear spoiler will be provided in the sale, although the auto-deploying mechanism is not included. The seller notes the color-matched plugs have been installed to conceal license plate holes on the front bumper cover and two small scratches are visible near the holes. A layer of front-end clear paint protection film was also replaced by the current owner. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Appointed with Black leather complemented by Dark Silver stitching and brushed aluminum trim, the Classic Interior features nostalgic houndstooth cloth seat centers, “911 50” headrest logos, and 1960s-style instrument dials. A commemorative badge and limitation number is positioned above the glovebox. The car was also optioned with heated 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats Plus with backrest shells in leather, auto-dimming mirrors, Porsche Entry & Drive, Light Design Package, Burmester High-End Surround Sound System, and online services. The seller notes a short shift kit was installed under prior ownership.
Featuring the factory-exclusive X51 Power Kit, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine produces delivers up 430 HP and 325 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is optioned with Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) including PASM Sport Suspension and comes standard with Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and the Sport Chrono Package. An upgraded Fabspeed exhaust system was installed by GMG Motorsports and the original exhaust is included in the sale.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.

Congrats ALE, well done!
Congrats ALE, I love the spec with the duck tail and exhaust and some miles on it that won't make you feel guilty to add some more!!!
Sold for $118,500
ALE
Congratulations on the car!
@luis.seneriz Never bought a new 911!
Just buy low, enjoy it and sell it for more!
Nothing wrong with that!
@RB246gts. You are in a position where I would like to be. I’m a club member here in the Houston area, there are many guys that do what you do with new one and allocations, and then there are many in line here for the CPO cars, etc. Anyway maybe one of thieve days I’ll get lucky and find a car to get on a better position in the totem pole.

@thedellgroup Bought my 50th for $75k, drove it for 3y. Sold it for $99k. Stocks and real estate are all fine too. Just hate loosing money on cars. Why I will only buy Porsches.
Bid in the amount of $117,750
Since I paid my student loan and my home it’s paid for, I’ll be asking the government for a check for a down payment on another 911. Lmao.
Bid in the amount of $117,500
That was a fun battle, I am out, only because I already have a sticker geyser grey. Love it so much I’d take another. This is still in bargain territory!! Someone will be lucky today.

@RB246gts. The new ones are way too big and off course you got to get allocations. Now a gt3 touring with a manual transmission, comfort seats, the 23 gallon fuel tank and add a ducktail that would be awesome for me.
Agree. Buy good cars and enjoy them. If you want an investment, buy stocks, real estate, etc. Better return on your $'s
@thedellgroup had a min of 20 Porsches 911. Bought them all because I loved the build. NEVER lost a $1. That’s what makes it fun!
Bid in the amount of $116,750
@luis.seneriz Silver is in my opinion the 911 color. If I would order a new one. It be silver..
Bid in the amount of $116,500
LOL. An investment in anything will also be expensive in 10 years. Not sure you buy a car as an "investment". You should buy it because you want it. If it appreciates, great, but cars are definitely not investments (unless you are a dealer and flipping them quickly). Market is a bit light on Porsche's right now... BaT had a 12K mile examples sell for below what this is selling for (PDK vs this Manual)
@RB246gts thanks for the info. The only color I would never buy it’s gards red my two 911s are silver and black, but both times I was looking for blue. I’ll buy a different color if the car is right one.
Bid in the amount of $116,250
This manual will get so expensive in the next 10y

Bid in the amount of $95,000
Please see picture 187 and check that area of the car; that's what appears to be many rock chips. The original photo shoot images are not close enough to see the same detail. Thank you.
@ALE the car was not clean when I was taking the pictures so it’s likely that it’s dirt. I would refer to the original pictures from the photo shoot
Thank you for posting the paint meter readings. On several of those pictures there appears to be numerous rock chips or road rash. Please confirm or correct.
@ALE windshield doesn't have any rock chips
@thedellgroup It's wrapped in bubble wrap in my garage up on a shelf. it's in 100% working order with no damage to it.
@ainsworth88 Yes, addressed the bumper. from license plate screws that were too long and yes, passed CA smog with the fabspeed exhaust installed.

In picture #21 two spots are noted above the license plate area where it looks as though the paint is chipped showing the black bumper. Not sure you addressed this.
Also will the Fabspeed exhaust allow you to pass California DMV smog test? This is a problem if catalytic converters are changed.
Does the windshield have rock chips on it or paint?

@JmanTX I bought the car in 23 from a dealer in Montana nregistered it in CA in 24. I think that makes me the 5th. Also, see the Porsche inspection report from today noting the brakes are all over 5mm.
Additional content has been added to the gallery for this listing.
@JmanTX Not sure about brakes, will check. Tires... Rear: 3621, Front 2721.
@NeunElf Posting now, it passed with flying colors!
@targatarga can you clarify ownership 5 and 6 on carfax? listing shows you purchased in 2023, which looks like owner 5, but also shows owner 6 in 2024 and wanting to confirm if you are 5 & 6 and just shows different ownership from changing registration from Montana to California? Also age/mileage on current tires and last time brakes were done?
@targatarga Of all the potential data in the report, it’s the over rev report specifically that is of interest.
@NeunElf Porsche Irvine is telling me the DME is a long report they don't print but can screeshot anything specific i'm looking for. From what i'm reading online it looks like some type of rev meter report?
@targatarga Thank you for these answers. I appreciated the videos you posted today; they do the job and are close enough to what I was looking for. And congrats on the Jubilee 964!

@ALE Finally found the scratch. I had to email the photographer who took pictures to help me find it. It's a tiny scratch on the drivers side rear quarter panel. Posting pick of it now with penny for relativity.
@NeunElf Great questions...
- No repaint
- Non smoker vehicle
- For interior blemishes i'm posting a tiny scratch to the leather in the rear center cousole.
- The springs are original from what I'm aware of and can tell.
- DME... I had to google it as I wasn't aware of what it was. I'm trying to get an appointment with Irvine Porsche for them to run it before the end of the auction. Stay tuned.
- I just emailed the auction folks cold start videos. I'll try to get driving videos today.
Lastly... this vehicle is everything you think it would be. I have heartburn for selling it but I bought a Jubilee 964 on it's way from Germany via 4 week boat trip and if it hits my garage before this one is gone my wife will kill me.
@PhantomU Unfortunately it's not. It didn't come with the vehicle. I contacted the prior owner months back and he bought the car with the duck tail and wasn't even aware that the mechanism wasn't hidden under the tail. They are about 4k from Porsche and about half that on ebay but I learned they are prone to breaking so I didn't bother with it.
Beautiful vehicle! Why is the auto-deploying mechanism is not included?
@targatarga Thanks for your responses on your listing; I have a couple questions for you.
* In picture 103, it's hard for me to tell from the lighting, has the right side of the passenger seat been repaired?
* Are there any blemishes in the interior you think I'd want to know about, similar to the ones you've disclosed and photographed on the exterior? Has the car been smoked in, as far as you know or can tell?
* Does the car have lowered springs, if so, how much has it been lowered?
* Will you consider posting a DME report as requested by an earlier poster?
Finally, (phew), can we have an engine start (preferably cold) and a short driving video?
Thanks for being my (our) eyes and ears.
Beauty. Possible to get cold start and driving videos? Would like to get a sense for the exhaust note.
Interesting the way this color shows. Usually this looks much more "tan" in pictures.
@ALE Not sure, i'll pull it out in the sun and see where it is. Looks like a scratch in the clear bra.
Posted pictures of the braided line. It's for the electrical control of opening and closing of the exhaust valves.

Nice 50th!
What are you showing in picture #58?
Thank you.
I just emailed GMG who installed the Fabspeed to see what they say about it.
Photo 79
@ targatarga I think he's referring to picture #79 on the zip-tied braided line

Some notes....
- All 4 tires replaced at 26,493 miles.
- Detail on major services in most recent pictures.
@Decatur15 Can you direct me to the picture number? I'll take a look.
There is a braded line under the back of the car held on with zip ties. What is the lines purpose?
Thank You

@Jarod964 Posting build sheet now. Didn't come with the car so I downloaded one.
Just submitted the most recent service at Vision Motorsports on 2/22/24. Prior service under prior owner was on 11/29/21 at Porsche St. Louis with 31,192 miles and it had an oil change and drive belt replaced as part of 6 yr recommendation.

Hi, surprised I haven’t seen this around town. Love the ducktail!
According to carfax, it hasn’t been serviced in a year. Is that correct? Also, do you have a DME report?
Bid in the amount of $65,000
Gorgeous car @seller - possible to retrieve a DME report prior to auction close? Do you know if the car has had its major service w/ plugs etc? Thanks
