Reintroduced in 2013, the fifth-generation Dodge Viper kicked off with 150 Launch Editions produced for the 2013 model year, all sporting Viper GTS Blue paint and GTS White stripes as a nod to its predecessors. This example is said to have been raffled off at the Viper Owners Association 25th Anniversary homecoming event and was acquired by the seller in December of 2020. It was configured at an original sticker price of over $140k, including the Customer Preferred Package (21A) which equips Sabelt Laguna leather seats, an Alcantara headliner, premium leather upholstery, an 18-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, Rattler polished wheels, and an SRT steering wheel, in addition to the GTS Laguna Interior Package. Showing just over 15k miles on the odometer, this Viper is now being offered at auction by the seller based out of Texas.
The Launch Edition Viper comes finished in Viper GTS Blue paint with GTS White over-the-top racing stripes. The body is constructed from aluminum and carbon fiber with dual side exhaust outlets, a GTS-specific vented hood, an integrated rear spoiler, HID headlights, LED tail lights with snakeskin-textured lenses, red Brembo brake calipers with white Viper script, and a silver fuel door. The seller reports this Viper to have received a professional paint correction and ceramic coating, in addition to paint protection film on all leading edges as well as the rocker panels and behind the rear wheels. Some scuffs are noted beneath the front fascia. The polished Rattler wheels measure 18” in front and 19” in the rear, mounted with Toyo Proxes R888 tires from 2019/2020.
The cockpit is trimmed in black Laguna leather with gray decorative accent stitching and an Alcantara headliner. The deeply bolstered Sabelt Laguna bucket seats feature 6-way power adjustability, textured inserts, and embossed Viper logos on the headrests. The GTS Laguna Interior Package equips leather door panels, a leather floor console, a leather-wrapped passenger grab handle, shift knob, and parking brake handle in addition to a leather-wrapped instrument panel with a Satin Silver bezel and a leather-wrapped multi-function SRT steering wheel. Amenities include an 8.4” Uconnect central touchscreen display with navigation, automatic climate control, a Keyless Enter-N-Go passive entry system, and an optional 18-speaker Harman Kardon High-Performance audio system.
The Viper SRT is powered by an all-aluminum 8.4L V10 engine producing 645 HP and 600 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through a 6-speed Tremec TR6060 manual transmission and a speed-sensing limited-slip differential. The Viper can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in just 3.5 seconds with a top speed of over 200 MPH. The fifth-generation Viper includes electronic stability control, traction control, and a 4-channel anti-lock brake system with stopping power from 4-piston Brembo calipers with vented rotors at all corners. The CARFAX report shows a consistent history of maintenance at authorized Chrysler dealerships since new, and a maintenance inspection and oil change were carried out in March of 2021.
This sale will include a clean title.
