I will be around throughout the last day of the auction. Please let me know if there are any requests or questions I can assist with. -Miles
@911Brez Historically, the transfer case is not an issue on the diesels. It uses a different case than the other 958s that have the issue.
@911Brez No history of it being addressed. However it drives smooth, no jerkiness or vibrations. Porsche extended the T-case warranty period on these to 10 years and unlimited mileage. So this still has 2 years of warranty left for the transfer case replacement if it fails. Thanks for the comment. This usually isn't discussed by many. -Miles
Was the transfer case addressed or was that not a problem in diesels?

@dawgfan1214 These are scrapes in the paint. My guess is someone closed a garage door on it
What’s up with all the paint chipping on the rear hatch?
@Sjmckim9 No towing package on this example. However, it can be added. Parts are roughly $1000-1500 depending on which route you go. Porsche sells the kit or you can piece it together. The tow module plugs right up and the hitch itself bolts up. I have installed a few in the past. I believe the tow capacity is listed as 7700lbs however that is probably a bit much. I have towed enclosed car trailers with 911s inside them with no problem. Many tow boats.

Sorry, not sure how autocorrect changed vehicle to Benihana
Seller, I cannot see it in the photos, but does the Benihana the factory towing package and what was the rating, please?
I have another Diesel Cayenne that I use as a daily. Has 125k miles and highway mileage is around 35mpg...however that is with a plug and play tuner. Without the tuner, was getting around 31 highway. The fuel tank is rather larger as well. So seeing a range of about 450-500 miles per tank. Also, have several local CDs that are pushing over 200k miles and still running strong. Really a shame that we lost the VW TDI in the States
We have seen 31MPG on the highway. 16-17 pulling a small travel trailer. We have similar spec (but with hitch) and have towed over thousands of trouble free miles. The CD is totally the way to go.
Nice looking Cayenne. Can you address the real world MPG please. I have a gasoline Touareg but would prefer the diesel. This info would help. Thanks.
