This 2013 Porsche 981 Boxster S is a Canadian-market example finished in Dark Blue Metallic over a Luxor Beige interior. It equips an optional 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) paired with its mid-mounted 3.4-liter flat-six engine. The car was also optioned with heated seats, auto-dimming mirrors, dual-zone climate control, bi-xenon headlights, the Light Design Package, ParkAssist, Sport Chrono Package, Convenience Package, and the Infotainment Package with BOSE Surround Sound System. Benefitting from a recent service at an authorized Porsche dealer, this Boxster S is now being offered for auction out of Canada with approximately 83k kilometers or 51k miles showing on the odometer.
This 981 is finished in Dark Blue Metallic with a blue convertible top and silver 19” Boxster S III wheels. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), fog lights, automatically dimming mirrors, ParkAssist sensors, rain-sensing wipers, a wind deflector, side air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual enter-mounted tailpipes, and red brake calipers. The seller indicates some minor imperfections on the convertible top and rear bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Luxor Beige interior is appointed with optional heated partial leather seats, a multifunction leather steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, the Light Design Package, a Sport Chrono Dashboard stopwatch, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation, and the BOSE Surround Sound System. The seller notes some wear on the driver’s seat and that the upper driver’s side door panel is out of place.
A mid-mounted 3.4-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 315 HP and 266 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package, this Boxster S can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4.5 seconds. The CARFAX report shows a recent maintenance inspection and oil change completed at Porsche Centre Langley in October 2024.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.

@Ram3k Hello. Yes all electronics & the top etc all functions as it should. AC blows ice cold.
The Porsche was recently inspected by a local Porsche dealership and also a full oil service was completed.
There’s minor wear on the top as shown in the pictures. Light scratches on the bumpers.
We will either post a video this morning or a few more pictures showing those areas.
we were hoping to have driving videos. I apologize due to the weather and the fact we were closed we didn’t get the car out of the showroom. However, I am here this morning and we are working on putting out some more content for you all.
@michaelp1usa Yes very easy and if sold into the usa the speedo swap is $400.
Also simple to toggle between mph and km for the odo.
Thanks
@carsfortoys - beside the door delaminating are there any other flaws - dings, scratches, cab top, everything works correctly, etc ?
Thx & GLWTS
Is it easy to switch the speedo and odo from km to mi?

If anyone is good at DYI, there is a very simple fix for door card delamination. Posting a YouTube link, admins delete if not allowed.

@Sensable super interesting thank you for the information.
@ldgreen Hi. this is something you will have to confirm in your state. All of the catalytic converters are present. There are no modifications to the exhaust system. It will pass all state emissions
Any emissions considerations re passing NC emissions inspection . Bringing in from Canada?
Sorry to say this but the driver side upper panel is not “out of place”. It is delaminated. This is a common fault for Boxters of this year (I know, I had one with the same problem). Porsche largely declined to take responsibility for the flaw and simply blamed the German government for forcing Porsche to use a more environmentally benign adhesive. Lawsuits are continuing. Replacing a door card is about $2,000 USD per side. However, Pedro’s Garage in Florida can permanently fix both sides for about $1,000 (check it out on You Tube). I found the fix worked perfectly. It is no reason not to buy this great car.
