This 2013 Porsche 981 Boxster was originally sold from a dealer in Los Angeles and comes finished in White over a Black interior with leather Sport Seats. The car was also optioned with 20” Carrera S wheels, Infotainment Package with BOSE Surround Sound System, Power Steering Plus, and a 7-speed PDK transmission. This Boxster was eventually acquired by the seller as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Porsche St. Cloud of Minnesota and has since been customized with Heritage Design-inspired vinyl livery and a red convertible top. Showing just over 48k miles on the odometer, this Boxster is now being offered for auction by its owner out of Texas while remaining covered under a CPO warranty.
This 981 is finished in White and features a removable vinyl livery inspired by the 911 Speedster Heritage Design Package. The wrap was applied by Waterwerkz of Keller, Texas, in 2022 and a new red convertible top was installed by Porsche St. Cloud under the current ownership as well as two new OEM headlights. The car rides on a set of optional 20” Carrera S wheels dressed in Pirelli P Zero tires (2620). The seller adds that the car has been diligently maintained, garage-kept, and driven approximately 4,800 miles per year on average. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black interior features optional leather Sport Seats, aluminum-look trim, and a set of custom red floor mats. The car is equipped with the optional BOSE Surround Sound system and recently received a new replacement speaker under warranty along with a new blower motor for the HVAC system.
A mid-mounted 2.7-liter flat-six engine produces up to 265 HP and 207 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. All routine maintenance has been performed under warranty during the current ownership including a 10k-mile service in September 2022. The Porsche CPO warranty remains in effect until June 20th, 2023, and additional maintenance history is provided on the CARFAX report.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, a car cover, service records, and a clean title.

@Bruce914 Thank you. I have owned five Porsches and this one gets the most attention of all.
One person called it the Instagram Car.
Beautiful car - love the 2 tone treatment with the gumballs.
@WRENCH.56 You are welcome. I guess everyone likes different things. Should you win the auction you can have it your way.
Thanks for the clarification.
Makes the car more appealing IMO.
@WRENCH.56 Those items are overlayed on the gray vinyl. The vehicle could be restored to its original red top white body condition for the previously stated fee. I will add a photo of the pre-Heritage Edition wrap.
I could actually live with the two tone treatment except for the gumballs and numbers. When you stated they could easily be “removed”, did you mean that those particular items are overlayed on the grey vinyl? Or would the shop have to cover them with grey circles?
@WRENCH.56 Red tops are rare and mine was installed by Porsche St Cloud in 2021. Worth every penny.
Thanks for the info.
Gotta say that I love the grey color, just don’t care for all the visual noise of the current configuration.
Love the red top.
@WRENCH.56 Just checked with one of the guys at the detail shop. A removal would be super low compared to the install.
All vinyl removed and car washed and waxed: $470
@WRENCH.56 They have two facilities and a come to your home service for removing the vinyl or detailing or both. In DFW
And they have a facility in the DFW area?
If so, do you have an idea of the cost to remove all the vinyl?
@WRENCH.56 The wrap division of the detail store says to avoid damaging the original paint they recommend professional removal.
@WRENCH.56 The white you see is the original paint.
@Manpot The install team from Brooklyn has done custom jobs in DFW for about a year and a half now.
They can remove the gumballs with no damage at all.
I want to make sure that I understand this.
Are the white parts of the car the original paint left to show through the vinyl wrap? Or is the entire car fully vinyl wrapped in grey and white, numbers, letters and all?
Just how easy is it to remove?
Can you remove the gumballs without damaging the paint? This car would be finished with Speedster humps IMHO ( available aftermarket).Love the colour combo and the add ons..apart from the #s and gumballs.
@patco2927 I had a chance to buy a silver/gray combo RS 60 and passed a few years back. Held out for the silver/red combo. Nothing like it imo.
@Boxster2013 Where did you find your RS60? I had one a few years back and should have never sold it. Been looking for replacement ever since. GLWA your car looks great
Hello from Texas. Putting this car up for auction because I have a long sought Porsche RS 60 Spyder coming and one car has to go.
