The Porsche 991 Carrera 4S features a 7-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.8-liter flat-six engine. Showcased in Platinum Silver Metallic over an Espresso Natural Leather interior, this example was generously optioned with the Sport Chrono Package, PASM Sport Suspension, Sport Exhaust System, 20” Carrera Classic wheels, the Premium Package, the Bose Audio Package, and more. This meticulously maintained 991 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York showing approximately 21k miles on the odometer.
The Carrera 4S features wide fenders and a continuous LED brake light spanning between the taillights. It features an electric slide/tilt sunroof, 5mm wheel spacers, and 20” Carrera Classic wheels with colored Porsche crests. It rides on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires mounted in Spring 2022 within the last 1k miles. Modifications consist of clear turn signals, custom Radiator Grille Store covers, and a Skene Design front bracket installed by Formula Motorsports to avoid holes in the front bumper. The seller adds that this vehicle is protected by an XPEL wrap and ceramic coating, and has always been covered and garage-kept. The Carrera 4S model designation has been deleted, the original lettering will be provided with the sale, and a new OEM "PORSCHE" logo will be included upon the buyer's request. The seller adds that there is currently no paint protection film covering the rear bumper, pending the next owner's decision to install a model designation. Very slight signs of road wear are noted, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is upholstered with Espresso Natural Leather, featuring 18-way power-adjustable Adaptive Sport Seats Plus and a heated multifunction steering wheel. Additional options include the Premium Package, the BOSE Audio Package, a rear windshield wiper, a navigation module, and a fire extinguisher. A Rennline phone mount has been installed along with an Escort 9500ci module on the steering column. Also, a set of 4k BlackVue front and rear dash cameras have been installed. The seller notes that the CARFAX report shows an upholstery repair completed at an authorized Porsche dealer which is believed to have been performed to a small area on the passenger's left seat bolster.
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine sends up to 400 HP to all four wheels through a 7-speed manual transmission with a rev-matching feature. The driving experience is enhanced by the optional Sport Chrono Package, PASM Sport Suspension, and the Sport Exhaust System which enables a louder, more aggressive tone with the press of a button. The seller adds that service carried out by a Porsche specialist in 2021 included replacements of the engine and interior air filters, spark plugs and coil packs, and hood struts along with a brake fluid flush. The most recent service history is said to include an oil change, the engine and interior filters changed, the engine belt serviced as per the maintenance schedule, and replacements of the AWD fluid, gearbox oil, and brake fluid. Additionally, this example is said to remain under a transferable Fidelity Platinum Warranty until February 24, 2025, or 60k miles.
This sale will include a clean title (lien), the original amber turn signals, and an unused adhesive sticker for the Rennline phone mount.

@DueProcess both are fine - brake feel is great and bites hard/fast in the best way. You've got time/miles left in them
What kind if shape are the rotors / pads in? I'm assuming pads are likely due for a replacement or close to it?
@LRL6476 - Changed oil/filter w/ Mobil 1 full synthetic
- Replace engine air filters & belt
- Replace AWD fluid
- Replace gearbox fluid
- Flush brake system
- Replace interior air filter

Well known Indy shop owner asked to remove pricing, it was in line with what you'd find if searching "991 10 year maintenance cost), without dealer markup.
This was performed less than 2 weeks ago, and follows the maintenance schedule as Porsche recommends.
@MRHUMANROBOT Can you tell me what services were performed at the 10 yr Maintence?
@DueProcess You beat me to it - this is the rennlist post: https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1142024-auto-rev-matching-question.html#post15829167
Found this on 6speedonline: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/991/380682-throttle-blip-w-downshift-w-mt.html#post4452741
I haven't tried this but I want to say I think sport mode in the .1 manuals don't automatically do rev match. That was the case in the 1st 991.1 I owned (this is my second). Pretty sure rev match comes only in sport+ mode. The "tradeoff" is whatever the difference is in throttle response between the two. But you should have enough permutations between Sport, Sport+, PASM and PSM buttons.
@DueProcess Edit: looks like you lose throttle response.
I also seeing that disabling PSM disables the auto rev match feature, regardless of Sport / Sport+... not sure if seller can confirm.
@MRHUMANROBOT So, as someone who wants to avoid auto rev match... I'd have to avoid Sport / Sport+?
What cost does that come with, with the manual (assuming w. the PDK, it changes transmission behavior)?
Correct me if I'm wrong, please; my understanding is that PSE and PASM are separate. So, what do I sacrifice to avoid the auto rev match?
@DueProcess Yes and Yes.
The car has rev match when in either sport or sport plus mode.
When not in either mode (by default) the car won't.
Does this come with auto rev match? If so, is there a way to disable it?
@PorschePaul911 Just want to make sure you saw I did paint meter readings while noting all measurements are done with PPF.
The first photo added in that set is a chart showing depths, location, average and standard deviation. Hope that helps to show consistency in depths across the car, even given different times of different films.
Bid in the amount of $60,250
@RicePark Photos added 3/17:
- All books
- Original window sticker!
- Paint meter readings ***This car has PPF***
*** This car has PPF ***Readings are high for a reason. I’ve added this to all photos to avoid any confusion. The variance across all panels is within OEM specs, no outliers. The more sizable jumps are due to different PPF applications using different films. Consistency is key.
PPF was done in 3 stages across the previous owner and myself across 5 months. Each photo has a diagram of this.
cc @RicePark re: books as the photos have been added.

@MRHUMANROBOT can you share what specialist (dm is fine) I have 2013 C4S pdk and am moving back to the city

Photos added 3/15:
- 10 year service receipt (prices redacted at request of shop owner. Pricing in line with what you can google)
- All service records on hand (1 additional oil change not pictured)
- Fidelity platinum warranty info
// note: I remove personally identifiable info where I can
@RicePark Added photo of the receipt. I was asked to remove the pricing but I can tell you it's in line with what you'll find when searching for "rennlist 991 10 year service cost".
I also took the opportunity to add the receipts printed out (I have as PDFs) which encompasses what I've mentioned earlier in the comments. These are not in chrono order, but PDF file naming convention is.
- heat shield recall done by prior owner that I found under the seat when cleaning
- badge delete
- oil change
- battery replacement
- wheel mount/balance
- 10 yr service (incl. oil change)
There is one additional oil change that I have. Including an oil change on collecting the car when I bought it, there have been 4 oil changes averaging ~2k miles. The car has been well looked after.

@MRHUMANROBOT No receipt for service?
@PorschePaul911 I went to a local Porsche specialist not the dealer in Manhattan. No service report, just the work on the advised maintenance schedule.
- Changed oil/filter w/ Mobil 1 full synthetic
- Replace engine air filters & belt
- Replace AWD fluid
- Replace gearbox fluid
- Flush brake system
- Replace interior air filter
I don't have paint meter readings.
As stated in your cold start video, you were taking to dealership for 10 year service appointment on March 6, 2023. Can you post a copy of that service report?
Also, do you have current paint meter readings?
Thanks
@rangerrotty99 That's correct. Bluetooth synchs quickly and I've never had any issues with it. For what it's worth, I have the original sticker that came with the mount with original, unused adhesive. (I taped it to the inside of a phone case). The 991.2's got car play (and turbos...)
If you wanted Car play, Joyeauto is the move. The folks in a local Porsche (mostly 991's) chat group who've done it like it.
Assuming no CarPlay if it has the phone mount. Is that right?
@eomichael If removed, no holes are visible as it is mounted from below - the 20th photo on the sidebar illustrates this
@mrhumanrobot, it looks like the front license plate is mounted on a bracket from beneath the bumper face… If removed, are there any visible
mounting holes?

@artichoke Fresh Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's last season, after I had it inspected. All four tires were mounted at the same time and have less than 1k miles on them.
@RicePark Not to my knowledge. I didn't have to wait when I registered. Text from the DMV site pasted below:
You can transfer the title certificate and give the new owner the original proof that any lien listed on the title certificate was satisfied. . . . When the new owner applies for a registration and title certificate, DMV receives the title certificate and the proof that the lien is satisfied.
@MRHUMANROBOT So it could take up to 90 days for the winner to get a clear title in order to register in their state?
@MRHUMANROBOT The hidden button is often a surprise for those that don't expect it :)
@TKAD Yep! Didn't know I had it until I pressed the button by accident and noticed my hands were getting warmer.
@rangerrotty99 Yes, it will satisfy the loan.
The title (with lien) can be signed over to winner once complete as I have the title in hand. New York is one of nine title-holding states.
To remove the lien from the title, either MV-901 or a letter from lienholder be mailed to Albany and it can take 60 to 90 days. I've spoken with my bank ahead of the sale and they stated they can send a letter. Again, this does not preempt winner from getting the title in hand. As long as I also have a copy from the bank confirming the loan is satisfied and funds are all cleared, the title can be signed over.

Heated Steering Wheel?
Sorry if I missed it, but how many miles are on the tires, assuming they are not original? I've never been able to get more than about 10k on the rears of any C4 I've owned.
Good morning. If the reserve is met, will that satisfy the loan? How long to get the title?
Beautiful 991 7MT. I recently bought v similar spec'd PDK 2013 4S but am missing manual so will be watching.
GLWTA
@RicePark Yes, all original books, and service records from my ownership.
For what's it worth, outside of religious maintenance and oil changes, the only thing this car has needed in two years has been a new battery, which was the original. But the warranty also helps should anything need attention in the next two years or 40k miles.
I also have 1 record from the previous owner I found beneath the passenger seat. That service record was for a recall that involved a heat shield in the engine bay. It's important to note these were also subject to an emissions recall that involved the sport plus mode. I have opted to not do that one.
Do you have all the books etc?

Bid in the amount of $40,000
Hi Bidders! Whoever ends up with it will have a great, low-mileage 991 that has been lovingly maintained and stored in a somewhat rare self-park, indoor, assigned spot in New York. I've checked and I've got another year on wheel and tire insurance too that is transferrable. I'll monitor to the best of my ability over the next week and aim to be as responsive as I can.
As someone who spent months looking for the right 991, I'm fairly well versed with the common concerns and questions. This one has all the right options for an enthusiast.
DME (4 revs in range 1) and oil report (great) are in the photos.
Thanks!
