Celebrating Corvette's 60th anniversary and the end of the C6 production run, the Corvette 427 Convertible was offered for the 2013 model year only featuring a carbon fiber hood and fenders, a ZR1 spoiler, 60th Anniversary badging, Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension, and 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine. This example comes finished in Arctic White over a custom red Deutschleder leather interior that was tailored by Callaway at a cost of $30k. It features the 1SC Preferred Equipment Group and the 60th Anniversary Design Package and has been upgraded by Hendrick Motorsports engine modifications and a Callaway Cars lowering kit. Purchased by the seller’s client in 2014, this highly collectible C6 Corvette is now being offered for auction out of Texas with approximately 16k miles showing on the odometer.

The 427 Convertible comes standard with a unique carbon fiber hood and front fenders, rockers, a front splitter, and a ZR1-style spoiler. This example is finished in Arctic White with optional Cyber Gray Metallic headlamps, a blue convertible top, and the 60th Anniversary Design Package which adds body-color door handles, Dark Gray Metallic brake calipers, and 60th Anniversary wheel caps. It rides on factory 19”/20” lightweight aluminum Cup-style wheels with machined faces. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin and trunk have been completely reupholstered in red Deutschleder leather with matching carpets by Callaway at a reported cost of $30k. Accessories include power-adjustable and heated seats, a head-up display, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, an infotainment system with navigation, a Bose audio system, and an engine start button. The 60th Anniversary Design Package adds 60th Anniversary logos to the seats and steering wheel, which also features an embossed Callaway logo to match the stainless-steel door sills.

The hand-built 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine features a dry sump oiling system, a forged crankshaft, and titanium connecting rods. Up to 505 HP and 470 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The 427 Convertible comes standard with Magnetic Selective Ride Control Suspension, Active Handling, variable speed-sensitive power steering, and cross-drilled disc brakes paired with 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers in the rear. Hendrick Motorsport engine and exhaust system upgrades have also been installed along with a Callaway Cars lowering kit. has been installed as well.

    @bmackrell We have contacted Hendricks and have not heard back from them. We do not have a build sheet on the work that was done on the engine. We did talk with person who knows Hendricks and he told us that they would have done a cam, heads, valve springs and upgraded injectors at a minimum.
    To the best of our knowledge the trans is stock with an upgraded short shifter.

    @Lambogas - Do you what exactly Hendricks did to the engine? From the sound of the "chop" at idle, they at least changed out the CAM. Do you know if they changed the valves?
