It is our pleasure to present this 2013 BMW E92 M3, one of only three North American examples special ordered in the iconic Porsche color of Speed Yellow. This M3 was delivered new to Gebhardt Imports of Boulder, Colorado in November of 2012 with a Black Novillo leather interior featuring the extremely desirable “single-hump” dashboard, a 6-speed manual transmission, manual heated seats, a carbon-fiber roof panel, Electronic Dampening Control, and the Competition Package. Recently acquired from a large BMW collection in Arizona, this M3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida showing approximately 6,500 miles on the odometer.
Through BMW’s Individual program, this M3 was special ordered in Speed Yellow (Speedgelb, U96/1), among the most celebrated Porsche colors used throughout the 1990s and 2000s. It is reportedly one of only three to have been factory finished in this color and is the only known example to reside in the United States. Under prior ownership, BMW M-Performance carbon fiber bumperettes were added along with a carbon fiber rear decklid spoiler and carbon fiber kidney grilles. The Competition Package BMW Style 359 forged wheels wear their original Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The seller notes paint protection film has been applied to the front bumper, hood, fenders, rear bumper, mirror caps, and forward half of both rocker panels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Black Novillo leather upholstery and Carbon Leather Structure trim. The rare standard dashboard omits the commonly seen iDrive knob and navigation system in favor of a basic BMW Business CD radio. Other features include standard manually-adjustable seats with optional heating functionality, the optional Comfort Access keyless entry system, and a USB/iPod adapter. The driver is also given automatic climate control, adaptive xenon headlights, a Hi-fi sound system, an Anthracite headliner, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Under the muscular "power dome" hood lies the high-revving 4.0L S65B40 engine which produces up to 414 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission and limited-slip differential, allowing the M3 to accelerate to 60 MPH in less than 4.5 seconds with an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. The optional Competition Package provides a 10mm lower ride height, a revised Electronic Dampening Control system, and reprogrammed Dynamic Stability Control. The seller reports an upgraded AFE carbon fiber intake system was installed by the previous owner.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, and some service documentation.

@SpeedJunky it is the only E92 M3 speed yellow apparently. There is also an E90 M3 in speed yellow if I recall correctly from the individual color database on M3 forums.

Great looking car. I own one of the other speed yellow M3's in the US, a 2012 E93. My car has many of the same parts on it like the M performance exhaust, and they were all port installed options listed on the build sheet with BMW. It is a great color in person and turns heads.

SY is beautiful in person, i was one the previous owners of this car, sold it to a friend in AZ, when i sold it i gave him the OEM intake and stock rear lip, he added the cf rear spoiler and the m-performance exhaust, this is a one is one of a kind E92 M3, good luck to the seller and lucky winner whoever he ends up to be

This E92 is a one of three Individual color Speed Yellow's produced and is said to be the only one in the US. Adding to that it's a single hump (no idrive) with a manual transmission. This is a perfect example of what the BMW individual program is all about. There are a few items that I would like to review as we get this listing started.
