Up for auction is this 2012 Porsche 987.2 Boxster Spyder finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a Black leather and Alcantara interior. Designed with a focus on purity and driver involvement, the Boxster Spyder weighs less than the standard Boxster, has more power, and has various chassis upgrades that deliver on that design brief. This two-owner example features a PDK gearbox, factory Sport Exhaust system, and Sport Chrono Package Plus. With an original sticker price of just under $80K, this Boxster Spyder shows under 18K-miles on the odometer and is listed for auction by its seller out of Utah
This example is factory finished in Basalt Black Metallic with paint protection film applied to the whole front hood, fenders, and bumpers. The 987 Boxster can be recognized by its double-hump fairings, manually operated roof and spyder allot wheels which come wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires.
Inside, you will find a black leather and Alcantara interior with factory bucket seats. Unique features dedicated to the Spyder edition include lightweight fabric door pulls, painted center consol and a sun visor delete over the instrument binnacle. A detailed build sheet can be found below.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 3.4 L flat-six that is rated at 320 HP. This power gets sent through a 7-speed PDK gearbox to the rear wheels, which helps get this Boxster Spyder to 60mph in around 4 seconds. This example is said to be up to date on service with an oil change carried out approximately 200 miles. Records of the vehicles maintenance history are available.
Included in the sale of this Boxster Spyder is a set of two keys, a clean tittle, books, and records. Bid now for your chance to own this increasingly rare and special Boxster.

@Dozer Hello. We just had a phone call with the seller, he apologizes for the lack of communication but is not very computer literate. He states that the paint is original with no issues other than any wear and tear that can be seen in the photos. Bid with confidence !

@jh986 Visor deletion part of Spyder pkg. Lost 2.6 oz.
Can you supply a video of start up and idling, undercarriage photographs and are the spots on the front part of the hood and lower portion of the nose road rash or reflections?
Thank you
I didn't know you could delete the visor over the instrument cluster, it looks kinda bare. I think you could of helped yourself with a good detailing inside and out if you wanted to get the greatest return on your investment. Just saying , great car though. GLWA
Looks beautiful. A dealer fee for an auction, ridiculous thought it may sound, will give some bidders pause.
