A limited-edition model offered exclusively to customers of the Porsche 918 Spyder, the 2012 Porsche 997.2 Turbo S Edition 918 Spyder features a special Acid Green accent package inspired by Porsche’s ground-breaking hybrid supercar. It was originally designated for a limited production run of 918 examples worldwide, however, only 146 were ever produced. This particular Turbo S Edition 918 Spyder is believed to be one of only 43 Cabriolet versions produced and comes finished in Platinum Silver Metallic over a Black leather interior with Acid Green contrasts. It comes equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter engine producing 530 HP along with a 7-speed PDK transmission, the Sport Chrono Package, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB), and 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels. Having been kept as part of the current owner’s collection since 2012, this extremely rare Turbo S Cabriolet is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California with under 5k miles on the odometer.
The Edition 918 Spyder features Acid Green model designations on the doors along with Acid Green brake calipers, mirror bases, and a rear “S” emblem. It comes with a painted exterior package as well as exposed carbon fiber mirror covers and side air intakes, clear taillights, an “Edition 918 Spyder” badge on the passenger front fender, and 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels in gloss black. This example is finished in Platinum Silver Metallic with a black convertible roof and is described to be in excellent overall condition. The seller adds that the car retains its original tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Black full leather upholstery accented by Acid Green seat piping, stitching, gauge needles, headrest embroideries, and illuminated door sill logos. Carbon fiber trim spans the dashboard, air vents, door sills, parking brake, and PDK gear selector. Extended leather upholstery also covers the seatbacks, center console, sun visors, and shifter surround. A limitation plaque on the glovebox designates the car as #56 out of a planned production run of 918 examples in total. Standard equipment includes heated Adaptive Sport Seats with driver memory settings, automatic climate control, cruise control, a three-spoke Sport steering wheel, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), and a Bose sound system. This example was further optioned with the ParkAssist system (rear).
Up to 530 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine. All four wheels are driven through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. The Turbo S comes standard with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) and the Sport Chrono Package which enables acceleration from 0-60 MPH in approximately 3 seconds. The seller indicates there are no outstanding service items at this time.
This sale will include two keys, owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, a letter of authenticity from Porsche, and a clean title.

Mike I don't have one to compare but from my experience with 911 they are all the same, basically not really functional unless you have a small person.
Best,
Javier
Thank you Javier. I couldn’t tell from the picture, but I thought that the backseat might be smaller than the regular Turbo S Cab of the same year.
@Miked2020 You are welcome....!! Let me know if there is any questions I might try to answer.
best,
Javier
Thank you for the descriptions. Mike.
@Miked2020 Mike, I think the difference is the Acent colors Acid Green On Calipers , Door Decals, Mirrors , Piping on seats, gauges indicators and the logo on the back. Also Carbon Brakes.
Not sure if the window sticker is legible but under options it has all the extras.
Hope this helps
@justin Not sure if this is what you are looking for ... On the original window sticker under 2012 911 Turbo S Cab Ed 918 Spyder. It says as follows :

Interior Leather Inter Black/ Acid Green
The original Selling dealer was Porsche of Hawaii.

I am familiar with the regular Cabriolet of this year. What is the difference between the Cabriolet and the addition 918 spider. It looks like the rear seats may be smaller? Beautiful car.
Does anyone know the Cab Color breakdown for the US?
Thank you.
@bulino , pictures have been uploaded.

@seller. Photos 109 and 110 show some damage to the lower section of the rear bumper apron and in photo 105 it presents as slightly deformed. Do you have any close up photos of what is causing the damage? Are there plans of repair? Thanks.
No Split on these they are real Carbon. The mirrors are as well. The color combination on this one is impressive.!!
The side air scoops on the 918 Editions are also different they do not split in the center like the regular version and may be in carbon fiber rather than plastic. Maybe the seller can confirm if they are indeed carbon
Bid in the amount of $72,500
@Mgriffith6265 Also not sure if you guys know but it is the last Car that would have the Green indicators on the gauges , as they would never be used again by Porsche unless it was an Electric Car.
@Mgriffith6265 Not sure if it was changed through dealer inventory, but what I can tell you is the car was bought in 2016 with an Odometer reading of 4848 and remained in our collection since ... it has 4910 miles on it today.
We decided to change some of the cars in the collection. Hope this helps...
Best,
