We are pleased to offer for this 2012 Porsche 997.2 Turbo S Cabriolet finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a black full leather interior. Having represented the fastest road-going Porsche ever upon its debut, the Turbo S version of the 997.2 features standard PCCB ceramic composite brakes, the Sport Chrono Package, and a 3.8 L flat-six engine rated at 530 HP. This 2012 Cabriolet version was configured at an original cost of over $179k with exclusive options including clear taillights, illuminated door entry guards, Porsche crested headrests, and a leather center console. Highlighting an upgraded FVD Brombacher exhaust and a very recent comprehensive service, this stunning Turbo S Cabriolet is now being offered for auction by its seller in Nevada with only 26k miles showing on the odometer.
Reported to have always been garage-kept and covered by the current owner, the Basalt Black Metallic finish is said to be in exceptional overall condition with clear paint protection film applied over the entire front end, A-pillars, mirror covers, and rear fender flares. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX. Some noteworthy factory features include clear taillights, a black Cabriolet top, and yellow PCCB brake calipers situated behind factory 20” RS Spyder center-lock wheels in a custom black powder coat finish. A custom yellow rear model designation has also been added and the Michelin Pilot Sport tires are reported to be in excellent shape with less than 5k miles of use.
Inside, the black full leather interior is said to remain in very nice condition while showcasing exclusive details including Porsche crested headrests, a center console in leather, a center armrest with an embossed model logo, and illuminated door entry guards in stainless steel. Driver amenities also include 12-way power seats, front seat heating and ventilation, a SiriusXM satellite radio tuner, and the ParkAssist System (rear). An integrated Passport radar detector system has been added and the cabriolet top mechanism and interior alarm motion sensor were recently replaced under the seller’s third-party extended warranty.
Further capitalizing on the new 3.8 L twin-turbocharged engine debuted for the 997.2 Turbo, the Turbo S version offers special tuning to achieve an output of 530 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque stock. This power is distributed among all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission allowing for a blistering 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. A high-quality FVD Brombacher exhaust system has been installed which offers an increase in power as well as quiet and loud settings through an automatic valve system. The Turbo S also comes standard with PCCB ceramic composite brakes and the Sport Chrono Package. All scheduled maintenance has been kept up to date by the current owner including a preemptive 30k mile service which was carried out very recently at Trophy Performance in Las Vegas. There have been 0 miles driven since the service as the car was trailered to and from the shop. This Turbo S is reported to drive like new and all service records are said to be included from the current ownership.
This sale will include a clean title (lien). Now is your chance to own a fine example of one of Porsche’s most powerful and desirable 911 models, do not miss out.

@Petercarlander No, I purchased the car for my wife. She used it on the weekends (preferring to drive our Tesla for everyday) I never saw her take it out of automatic and use the paddles. The car runs perfectly and has been babied since we’ve owned it. It could actually use a good shake out by the new owner.
Any over Rev?
@Brent95m3 Non-smoker vehicle. No smoke or other unpleasant smells. Just a clean Porsche leather interior.

Any smoke smells in the car?
@GLGPC he was stating the car has 19" wheels and not 20" wheels as stated in the listing.
@Pump993 AXIOM. I checked with them a few days ago and confirmed all the details posted earlier.
@GLGPC what company has the warranty
@Bodydouble22 These are the original factory centerlock wheels powder coated black with replacement factory black centerlocks.
Nice Cab. You have 19” wheels not 20”.

@ainsworth88 No issue with the seats. I’ve driven the car for long distances (300 miles up the California coast) and the seats are fantastic. My wife is very finicky and she’s never complained about the seats being hard or uncomfortable. They heat up great, which works well when you’re running with the top down in cooler weather. The AC function also works well.
@GLGPC Just test drove a 2012 Turbo S Coupe and the sport seats were very hard. The ventilated option can cause additional hardness but these were quite uncomfortable. I noted in the build sheet that yours has Comfort Seats. Can you drive long distances without any discomfort?

@Swindom The fee is 5% with a maximum of $5k. Please review the buyers agreement (links at the bottom of this page and also in our FAQ). Thank you.
Since the bids don’t include the PCarmarket fees I would appreciate clarification on what the fees are on this car for example if the winning bid was $100k what would be the total price?
Bid in the amount of $70,997
Bid in the amount of $65,000
@Brent95m3 The third party warranty is active and fully transferable. It expires at 54k miles or 10/31/2021.
@PCARMarket just an FYI, but 2013 was the last production year for the 997 Turbo and Turbo S. It wasn't until 2014 when the 991 Turbo was put into production. 2012 was not the last year of production for the 997 Turbo as stated in the first paragraph of the listing.
@AndyL215 Re: paintwork. When I purchased the car in October 2018 the seller confirmed no paintwork and went over it with a meter showing consistent factory paint numbers. The car doesn’t have a scratch. The only things I see are small “road debris/rock” dimples in the front bumper clear bra.
@AndyL215 I’m checking with my tech right now. I’ve never had them changed out, but my tech will know if they are the original pads. I’ll get back to you ASAP.
@Brent95m3 There is a 3rd party warranty. I’m checking with the company to obtain the accurate numbers on mileage/time limit and transferability particulars. I’ll get back to you ASAP.
@GLGPC have the brake pads been replaced? Any paint work on the car ?
@AndyL215 The center lock wheel locks/nuts are original Porsche replacements in satin black. We matched the powder coat on the wheels to the locks.
@rbrunson I purchased the car with the upgraded FVD exhaust. The original exhaust is not available.
Is there any third party warranty left or has that expired?
Bid in the amount of $50,000
Hi gorgeous car. Are the center lock wheel nuts replacements in black or did you have them powder coated when you had the wheels done ? Also are the brake pads original ? Thank you
Is the original exhaust available with the sale?
@Brent95m3 The bid you made in error has been retracted. You may now place the correct bid. Thank you
Umm, whoops.
Hi, I’m the current owner. Will be happy to answer questions about the Turbo S.
