The updated 997.2-generation Porsche 911 Turbo was unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, featuring an all-new 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine and the option of a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) dual-clutch transmission. This 2012 Cabriolet version is finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a Black full leather interior. It came factory-equipped with the optional PDK transmission, a limited-slip rear differential, Sport Chrono Package Turbo with Dynamic Engine Mounts, heated and ventilated seats, a painted center console, and 19” 911 Turbo II wheels. Acquired by the current owner in 2020, this 997.2 Turbo Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of Michigan with approximately 20,500 miles showing on the odometer.
This Turbo Cabriolet is finished in Basalt Black Metallic with a black power-operated convertible roof. Equipment includes models-specific bumpers, wide fenders with rear side air intakes, bi-xenon headlights, headlamp washers, fog lights, LED taillights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, red brake calipers, and chrome 19” 911 Turbo II wheels. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport tires showing 2020 production date codes. The seller notes the exterior has been ceramic-coated, and the front end, mirror caps, and partial rear quarters are covered by clear paint protection film. Some small stone chips are present on the hood, and the CARFAX report notes an incident in 2016 in which the vehicle was not damaged. The Black full leather interior features optional heated and ventilated power seats with driver memory, a three-spoke steering wheel with shift buttons, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, and an optional painted center console. Other accessories include automatic climate control, cruise control, a remote central locking system, a Bose sound system, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation and Bluetooth phone connectivity. Aftermarket red trim accents have been added along with black and red Porsche-branded floor mats. A Passport radar detector was installed under prior ownership.
Rated at 500 HP and 480 lb-ft of torque, the 3.8-liter flat-six engine features twin Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG) turbochargers, direct fuel injection, VarioCam Plus variable valve timing, and integrated dry sump lubrication. It delivers power to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Performance features include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), optional Sport Chrono Package Turbo with Dynamic Engine Mounts, an optional limited-slip rear differential, and 13.8” cross-drilled brake discs paired with 6-piston calipers in the front and 4-piston calipers at the rear. The seller notes annual maintenance has been completed at Porsche of Ann Arbor throughout their ownership, including a full service in May 2024 with new spark plugs.

@rcar I purchased the car Used from a Miami dealer on Manheim. It is exactly the way it was when I purchased it in 2020. The car is in Michigan because I have two homes. One in Sarasota and one in Michigan.
The factory did not offer these wheels in chrome, nor is it noted on the build specs on Vinanalytics.
