Now available for auction is this 2012 Porsche 997.2 Turbo Coupe finished in Black over a black full leather interior. At an original cost of over $154k, this second-generation 997 Turbo was ordered from the factory with Adaptive Sport Seats in leather, 19” RS Spyder wheels, a SportDesign steering wheel, the Sport Chrono Package, and a limited-slip differential. It was purchased by the current owner from a Porsche dealer in 2013 as a certified pre-owned vehicle and is now being offered for auction out of California with approximately 70k miles showing on the odometer.
This Turbo is finished in Black and wears clear paint protection film over the forward half of the front end as well as the mirror covers. CARFAX shows damage to have occurred to the right side of the vehicle in 2013, and the seller reports that the car has since been professionally repaired. From the factory, this 997.2 was optioned with 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels derived from the Turbo S. The tires are recommended for replacement in the near future.
Inside, this example sports a premium black full leather interior with Adaptive Sport Seats and a SportDesign steering wheel. Other factory features include driver seat memory, front seat heating, the ParkAssist System (rear), and Sport Chrono Package Turbo. The seller has installed upgraded LED interior lighting as well as an integrated K40 radar detector/laser jammer system. All gauges and accessories are said to be fully functional.
Among the last of the 997 Turbo’s, this second-generation example features a twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six engine that sends 500 HP to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. This example was also optioned from the factory with a limited-slip rear differential and the Sport Chrono Package Turbo including Dynamic Engine Mounts. All manufacturer-recommended service is said to have been addressed through an authorized Porsche dealer under the current ownership. The most recent maintenance items include a new battery, oil service, and replacement of the engine purge fan.
This sale will include a set of two keys, owner's books, and a clean title. Representing one of the most desirable modern Porsche's on the road, you do not want to miss your chance to own this generously equipped second-generation 997 Turbo.

Can I breathe yet? Whoo hoo!
good deal!
Dang. Missed chance to bid!
This car will sell to the highest bidder.
@BestGrandad Understood, and I appreciate the interaction while you’re in Vegas. Please don’t muck a royal flush, just to get home for this. Thanks!
@VOC4S Unfortunately I am not with the car and won't be back until the auction ends. I can guarantee I will post a video to the winning bidder and PCAR staff by tonight. The car runs and starts 100% fine. Please let me know if there's additional questions.
@VOC4S No, the turbo actuator has not been repaired/replaced.
I am in Las Vegas at the moment. I will try to make it back and post a video of the start up/drive before the auction ends. The vehicle runs and drives fine.
Can you post a start up/driving video?
@BestGrandad Has the turbo actuator been repaired/replaced? Thanks.
@VOC4S Hello from 2016-2021 the vehicle was barely driven hence the no service records from porsche dealer. The car did receive an annual oil change and minor services during that period. Coolant flush. The tires are worn and need to be replaced within 2000 miles. There was zero damage from the tow truck. I took precautionary measures and had a shop evaluate immediately after the tow.
@VOC4S Referring to the Carfax notes image 181/191. Thanks.
So no service records from 2016 till 2021, when they found the turbo actuator rusted shut, and tires are dangerously thin? What did they find when they looked into the tow truck damage?
@BlackWaterH20 I am the second owner of this turbo. The first owner bought the car new from 0-5000ish miles. I've owned the car since then. The car was purchased in early 2013. The incident occurred mid April 2013.
@BlackWaterH20 Missed it the first time through, looks like solid ownership for years after the incident.
How many owners? Carfax? How long was a sale (if it occurred) after the accident? Looks great, my dream model, colors, and PDK.
@BestGrandad Thank you for the confirmation. I'm going to sit back and see where this auction goes before bidding.
Bid in the amount of $62,250
@Sammy2021 I sadly do not have any pictures of the accident. This incident occurred in April of 2014. I tried searching the old cell phone but it has been formatted since. I can confirm the driver side steering airbag did deploy but no other airbags. The attached PDF does show every item that was replaced. The vehicle was also repaired by a premier body shop (Sports and Imports collision in Duluth, GA).
Seller. Please post pics of the accident. The repair seems very extensive and included replacement of an airbag; however, the carfax states your car was in a “minor” accident. $20k in repairs isn’t minor to me. Much appreciate the clarification. Thank you.

Gorgeous car!
Bid in the amount of $50,000
@Kevin8tor Thanks. I saw that from the carfax. Guess I should have worded my question better . . . was hoping you had additional information and photos.
As for the head lamps, I had an 08 Turbo and currently have an 09 Turbo and they had/have the same head lamps and they are adaptive. Just interesting as all and won't deter my consideration. It's a great looking Turbo with good specs.
@Kevin8tor Sorry for the delay. PCAR staff was sent the service order but there's been a delay in posting it. I have uploaded it myself now.

@BestGrandad - Noted. Thanks for the clarification. I'd have to agree, there must have been an option for the adaptive lights. Nice car, best of luck with the sale. Should make somebody very, very happy.
@Rasta997Turbo - FWIW, and since you are not getting a timely reply.....this is from it's CarFax:
Accident reported: minor damage
Vehicle ran off road
It hit a rock embankment
Damage to right front
Damage to right rear
Vehicle towed
This incident was first available for display by CARFAX on 08/29/2014.
@Kevin8tor I'm not sure. I am looking over the work order for the accident and there was no damage or replacing the headlights. Possible the 2011 Turbo S had an option for upgraded lights?
Looking on google it seems there are some other 2012 911 turbo non S equipped with the same lights as mine. I think it was likely an upgrade option. See this other listing for better images:

@Rasta997Turbo - I agree, those look nothing like my headlights on my 2011 Turbo S Cab. Seller, what's up?
@BestGrandad Great. Thank you. I have another question. Any reason why your car looks to have the 997.1 head lamps?
@Rasta997Turbo I have forwarded the entire work order for all repairs to Pcarmarket. The details will be up shortly.
Can you provide more details about the accident and photos?
@ianbsears The car was almost always serviced at a Porsche dealer (services in carfax). Only minor service has been performed at independent shops. The turbo recently had an oil change, new engine purge fan, new battery.
@bestgrandad - do you have maintenance records/receipts?
Hello welcome to the auction for this 2012 911 turbo. Feel free to ask any questions or for additional photos.
