Marking the pinnacle of Porsche’s Carrera lineup, the GTS features wider fenders, center-lock wheels, the Sport Exhaust System, and a more powerfully tuned 3.8-liter engine. This 2012 example is finished in Carrera White over a black leather and Alcantara interior, optioned with Sport Chrono Package Plus, Adaptive Sport Seats, Bose Surround Sound System, and a Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. It was acquired as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Porsche Gold Coast in 2017 and is now being offered for auction by its owner out of New York showing approximately 41k miles on the odometer.
This Coupe is finished in Carrara White with black painted 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels. Optional equipment includes Bi-Xenon headlights, clear taillights, and automatically dimming mirrors. The seller describes the exterior to be in excellent condition apart from a small chip on the lower panel ahead of the rear passenger wheel. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in black leather and Alcantara including optional heated Adaptive Sport Seats in leather with driver memory. Other options include the ParkAssist System (rear), Navigation Module, and SiriusXM satellite radio tuner.
This GTS is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine rated at 408 HP, an increase of 23 HP over the standard Carrera S. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed PDK transmission. Equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, the GTS reaches 60 MPH from a standstill in approximately 4 seconds. Annual maintenance has been performed at Porsche Gold Coast under the current ownership and the most recent service included all new tire pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS).
This sale will include a clean title.

What a steal. I would have taken it if it was on west coast
Caught it late and didn’t think there was a chance it would hit reserve at that price. Apologies.
seems like a great deal, congrats
@bents clearly that is not allowed, may we ask why didn't you bid?

Great car. Head turner You will not be disappointed. Low reserve.
@FourFourTwo but look nice!
Center console white painted trim and leather armrest probably aftermarket
People repaint the side skirts all the time, it gets pitted badly. Decals get changed as well, preference. Paint measurements look stable, my GTS paint using the other metric was 90-100 not sure what the conversion is.
Hi. I Do not have any spare parts.
Bid in the amount of $60,000
The window sticker lists clear tail lights, so those cant be original to the car.
As I have previously stated I believe car is all original. If that much work had been done it would have been in a.major accident and car fax is Clean. Been to local Porsche events.and never had anyone raise any issues.
Do we know what happened to the original tail lights, do they come with the car? I also believe the lower rockers are supposed to be black unless otherwise mentioned as being painted body color on the window sticker.
Also, shouldn't the door stickers read Carrera GTS and not just GTS? Looks like these are not the original sticklers and may have been re-applied. I want to bid/win this car, but lots of signs saying it may have been painted. Non-original lights, painted side skirts, incorrect stickers, higher than normal paint meter readings. Not sure what to do...
Bid in the amount of $55,400
@Bigbee , I would have to do more research but both of these appear to be 2012 last year 997 GTS cars and both have black side skirts.

The rocker panels are body color on the last year 997.2 GTS. I have only seen one in Guards Red with black front spoiler lip and side rocker panels and it was a rare manual transmission car with a unique spec. Many more have replacement front splitters are black versus the body color.
Rocker panel more like a small chip. As Second owner that's way car was. Not sure of factory design
@seller you mention the rocker panel has a small crack in it, I do see in the photos. Do you know if these were painted white from the factory? The window sticker suggests they may have came black.
I believe paint numbers are within factory tolerances. I've always been told over 10 on the scan could suggest paint work.
I think these cars are supposed to meter between 3.5-5
Concerned about the A-pillar reading 7.65
Same meter you used is used in this auction with results in the 3.5-5 range.

Cant make a trip out to the island this weekend or I would come check it out in person
Hi. I never had any paint or body work done. I'm not original owner. I believe meter readings are within normal ranges.
A little confused by the paint meter readings, they seem high, has the car been painted?

amazing engine sound when car is started . The Best
New TMPS is a nice add since it throws an annoying warning when the batteries go bad. This plus the condition of the driver side bolsters, alcantara on the steering wheel, and the trunk liner, show what seems to be a well cared for car that was also enjoyed.
All it needs IMHO is a SharkWerks X-Pipe... some sounds I recorded of my own 997 GTS w/ the SharkWerks here... https://www.gtsence.com/997-gts-vs-991-gts-making-noise/
GLWA!
