Topping Porsche’s 997.2 Carrera model range, the GTS version features wide bodywork derived from the all-wheel-drive Carrera 4, center-lock wheels, the Sport Exhaust System, and a more powerful 3.8-liter engine. This 2012 example comes finished in Carrara White and optioned with Sports Suspension, a limited-slip differential, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and Interior Package in Carbon. This GTS has also been modified with various GT3 and GT3 RS components throughout the interior and exterior. Acquired by the seller in 2018, this 997.2 has been meticulously cared for and is now being offered for auction with just over 54k miles on the odometer.
This Coupe is finished in Carrara White and shares its wider bodywork with the all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 model. Modifications include an Aerokit front spoiler, GT3 RS side skirts, and a set of black painted 19” GT3 RS center-lock wheels dressed in new Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. An OEM European rear bumper has been installed. The exterior is protected by a full ceramic coating, detailed images are provided in the gallery, along with a clean CARFAX report.
Appointed with black leather, Alcantara, and carbon fiber interior trim, this example has been modified with a GT3 steering wheel and GT3 RS carbon-fiber bucket seats along with red RS-style door pulls, red seatbelts, and a short shifter. Additional factory equipment includes self-dimming mirrors, the ParkAssist System, Extend Navigation Module, and BOSE Surround Sound System. The seller notes the interior trims, scuff guards, and floor mats have been replaced, and the original black Alcantara seats will accompany the sale as well.
This GTS is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine rated at 408 HP, an increase of 23 HP over the Carrera S. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission and an optional limited-slip differential. This 997.2 was also optioned with Sport Suspension and Sport Chrono Package Plus. An upgraded Shark Werks exhaust system has been installed and the seller notes a factory-recommended spark plug change was performed at 50k miles. Previous services include the replacement of the clutch and brake pads at 40k miles.
This sale will include a clean title.

@nwGTS thanks for the explanation!
@Richbob On the 997.2 the license plate area of the bumper cover is one piece molded into the bumper instead of containing two cutouts for the bumperette covers to attach. Note that this is just the bumper cover. The bumper itself either needs to be replaced with the Euro spec bumper which does not have crash tubes or the US/NA version bumper crash tubes need to be cut off. The crash tubes are what sit behind the bumperette covers.
Last 15 minutes, Good luck to all bidding!
@Richbob it is a completely different unit and has the rare wider license plate holder for european cars. This part was sourced through a friend.
Bid in the amount of $72,750
Is the Euro rear bumper different, or just no holes where the bumperettes attach on the US model? If different, where did you source it?
@yokeutla correct they are stock as it came from the factory
I may have missed this, but this is on the OEM sport suspension? No aftermarket springs or anything installed?
Wings no longer sold
@tkamrin **previous comment wouldn't let me tag two people in one reply
I wouldn't be concerned given the time passed since the tally in the overrev. Stage 3 is only slightly overrev in a GTS.
@Albertnigri OEM XXA option Aerokit wing is NLA (no longer available). Classifieds, resellers and aftermarket are your only options.

@jaimers60 so its same lip but needs to be painted? suncoast doen't have the aero kit rear wing, do youknow where to get it?
@Fatarse.2 Thank you!
Great looking car…good luck to the bidders!
Good Morning and so the count down begins and feelings of meloncholy are setting in for me, hands down one of the best cars I’ve ever owned and probably the most well kept. Whoever wins this is truly getting a gem as I have addressed every detail I could find in the car the past 4 years and built it as porsche should have, I doubt you will find another like it. Good luck to all, happy bidding and hope she goes to a rightful new owner.

@alpinee34m5 absolutely.
Curious where you purchased the front lip
So I should order one of these...

@tkamrin copied from PCA.ORG
Range 1 are revs above the limiter 7,200 but below 7,500 RPM
Range 2 are revs above 7,500 but below 7,700 RPM
Range 3 are revs above 7,700 but below 7,900 RPM
Range 4 are revs above 7,900 but below 8,400 RPM
Range 5 are revs above 8,400 but below 9,500 RPM
Range 6 are revs above 9,500 RPM
Normally cars with zero over revs in ranges 4, 5 and 6 are fine. Generally Range 1 over revs are caused by hittin the rev limiter. Range 2 and above are mechanical over revs but withinb the safety parameters of the engine's internals. Ranges 4-6 are considered major and may eventually be catastrophic. Porsche will not CPO a car with Range 4 or higher.
Anybone concerned about the stage 3 overrevs on a manual trans car?
@NYNE97.2 I have just uploaded a COLD START video as well as the PSE turned OFF vs ON and a few 2k RPM revs for your viewing pleasure w/ the Sharkwerks rumble.
@jaimers60 PURRRRRRFECT!!!
@NYNE97.2 This was one of the best upgrades you can do for this series, in summation PSE turned off sounds like it’s ON and flip the switch and man does she come alive! it’s definitely a visceral feeling after 3k rpm and becomes an animal after 5k. I’ll try to get a quick video for you of the exhaust note today with both modes :)
Bid in the amount of $70,313
@jaimers60 What a great build! Aspirational. Asking for a friend: Does the X-pipe nullify PSE - OR- does PSE give the X-pipe two aural flavors?
Man - Your car is something else. GLWA.
@List-Renn thank you for the kind words! Pretty happy that enthusiast understand the subtleties of the car. I hope someone can enjoy her the same way I have and yes all those roads mentioned are EPIC. I did take her to monterey car week up the 1 fwy and is a MUST DO for the new care taker shall she stay in Socal!
From a fellow 997 GTS owner...all I can say, @jamiers60, is WOW. You absolutely knocked it out of the park and over the parking lot on the upgrades. Someone with IYKYK savvy will win this and enjoy hours of driving nirvana. Hope it stays in SoCal and I see it one day up on the ACH, Big Tujunga or the Malibu Canyons. I 'm sure you've put lots of those 50K miles on those roads. The perfect tool to exploit the best roads in the USA. GLWA, though you surely will not need it.
@Richbob the bucket seats are NOT heated, i believe those were only available overseas(someone correct me if im wrong), the car actually came with the clear side markers which will be included in the sale, in the end the amber ones were just a personal preference :) id be more than happy to switch them for the winning bidder.
Also wondering, with all the other great cosmetic changes, why did you decide to leave the yellow side markets, instead of going to the clear?
Are the bucket seats heated?

Nice build, last oil service? Tire and brake cond?

@Sylverlee No PPF just ceramic coating
Is there any ppf on the front?
Bid in the amount of $35,000
@zachlangan appreciate the kind words. She has been my a dream build of mine for quite sometime. A lot of time and patience of finding the right parts went into this one, unfortunately unable to enjoy the car as it should be and hope she finds a rightful new owner. My goal was to create a GT3 touring of some sort and after driving a few 997.2 GT3’s i’d say I got pretty close. She is certainly a blast to drive or simply just enjoy a cup of coffee during a quiet sunday morning while I stare lol
The modifications on this car are about as perfect as it gets. Pretty much the best OEM bits across the 911 range packed into one car... I love it. The GT2 folding buckets, rear Euro-spec bumper, GT3 RS wheels... just a few of the highlights that don't come cheap, but pretty much every surface of this car has been thoughtfully addressed. I don't think I'd change anything. GLWA
Air filter has been replaced to New K+N units...
@Harbormotorcars @Carwaymotors a special car indeed! with the porsche crest on the headrest to boot! interesting piece of info on the buckets is that they were previously owned by the PCA president of the northeast region, they appear almost New!
This car is a Unicorn, 997.2 GTS 6-speed with bucket seats!!!
Bid in the amount of $29,972
@Billylane2021 No they won’t be included. With the extra rubber you get with the RS width you won’t miss them :)

*on picture 155 please disregard the scuff plates as those have been replaced with brand new OEM units.
I have just added pictures of all the scuffs and scratches visible on the car as well as the literature that’s included. Unfortunately I do only have 1 key for the vehicle.

@GTSence thanks for that and yes i still do have the Porsche equipped fire extinguisher, another item that will be included in the sale!
@luis.seneriz yes that is correct, the alcantara seats do come with the car and thank you for starting us out with your very appropriate bid lol.
A great spec for any GTS buyer w/ the #1 aftermarket addition (SharkWerks X-Pipe) already installed, plus an unusual factory option (#509 - Fire Extinguisher) that would likely make this a unicorn... sometimes it's the small things!
Here's how I used some of the OSINT available to see if my 997 GTS was a rare config... https://www.gtsence.com/how-rare-is-your-997-gts/ .. use the same sources to assess this car.
GLWA!
Bid in the amount of $9,972
Niece car. It says the original front seats also come with the car, is this correct?? Car will be perfect with 5 percent limo tint and ducktail.
@jaimers60 door handles
shift boot
clear side markers
stock muffler
stock mats
car cover
stock shift cables
included with sale. i’m sure i’m leaving out a few things but i’ll run to storage and see what else i can find.
@Albertnigri yes pretty much with the exception of the steering wheel.
Hi, Do you have the original parts ? Seats ,steering wheel, door handle etc
Hello all and welcome to the auction of my C2GTS in a 6 speed manual. I have been the lucky custodian of this P-car since 2018 and spared no expense to get it to where it is today. With all my recent projects I have driven the car less than 100 miles this year and realized it’s time to let her go. I have just purchased a paint meter reader and will be providing those in the gallery this up and coming week. Please don’t hesitate to arrange a viewing of the car if local to see the immaculate condition of the vehicle. I am open to all questions. Good luck and happy bidding
