Now available is this 2012 Porsche 997.2 Carrera 4S Coupe finished in Black over a Black Standard Leather interior. Among the later and most sought-after models of the 997 generation, this 2012 Carrera 4S came optioned with a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission as well the Sports Exhaust system, PASM Sport Suspension, Speed Yellow trim pieces, illuminated carbon fiber door sills, and much more. It has remained with its original owner in North Carolina since new and is now being offered with approximately 17k miles on the odometer.
Sharing its wide bodywork with the 911 Turbo, this 4S comes finished in Black and sports a reflector band between the taillights unique to the 4S model. Other features include exclusive clear taillights, headlight cleaner covers in Black, and 19” 911 Turbo II wheels with factory 5mm wheel spacers. The wheels come dressed in a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires showing approximately 7/16 tread depth. OEM clear front marker lenses have been added and the finish has been protected by paint protection film over the full front end, mirror caps, rear wheel arches, and door edges. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX.
The cabin is trimmed in Black standard leather, and is highlighted by a pair of heated and ventilated 12-way power-adjustable front Comfort Seats with exclusive crested headrests. Other features include self-dimming mirrors, the Bose Surround Sound System, PCM 3.0 with extended navigation, a crested center console lid, illuminated door sills in carbon fiber, and seatbelts, gauges, and shifter surround in Speed Yellow.
This 997.2 is equipped with a direct fuel-injected 3.8L flat-six engine that sends up to 385 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. The driving experience is enhanced by the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, PASM Sports Suspension (which lowers the ride height by 20mm), and the Sport Exhaust System which allows the driver to enable a more aggressive tone with the press of a button. It should also be noted that the 997.2 was the last 911 to offer traditional hydraulic power steering. The CARFAX highlights 6 service history records dating back to 2018, and the seller notes maintenance has been carried out annually through Porsche dealers.
This sale will include a clean title, owner's manuals, and a set of two keys.

@dennisconnie2 - Hey, can you please explain more about your statement, "After these cars (the 997.2's) Porsche took the motor out of it ... ". What do you mean?
Will you allow the winner to perform a PPI?

@Codycrimson Cody,
I just uploaded a cold start and walk around video to PCarmarket. I expect it will be live sometime tomorrow. Thanks for your note. Best, Jim.
@dennisconnie2 ,
Thank you for your comment. I couldn't agree more. The car is like a glove around you and the steering is superb. Best, Jim.
If you could upload a cold start video that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Hello Fellow Porscheophiles
I have an 2012 997, this is the very last
drivers 911 due to its hydraulic steering and other features. This car
is an absolute joy to drive daily!!!. Reliable and very comfortable.
After these cars Porsche took the motor out of it and put it in the Cayman making it the new sports car
for Porsche. From the 991 forward those cars are heavy Grand Touring
not sports cars. My recommendation
is you grab the 2010-2012 997’s while
you can. Once again the LAST DRIVERS 911,period.
@poiboy ,
Yes, the yellow gauges and trim are all factory options and can be seen on the build sheet. The mileage can be tracked on the annual Porsche service records. Thank you for you interest!
Best,
Jim
Hi , the yellow trim pieces is that a stock option ? if not, do you have the original stock odometer ?
@Codycrimson I will get a video together tomorrow. There are no dings, scratches, swirl marks, dents, paint chips anywhere. Finish is spectacular. Best. Jim.
@whelanj1 thank you. Video from inside the car starting and driving would be great. Are there any blemishes (scratches/dents) on the exterior that can’t be seen in photos?
@Codycrimson I can make one tomorrow of car starting. What are you looking for of the car driving? Video from inside or passing by? Let me know and I’ll make them. Best. Jim.
Do you have video you can share of car starting and driving?
I currently do not, but indicated I would make the car available for such inspection. Thank you for the question.
Hello. Do you have paint meter readings available to confirm paint originality?
