The range-topping Porsche 911 Carrera of the 997.2 generation, the GTS model features a revised 3.8-liter flat-six engine with 408 HP, a sport exhaust system, a SportDesign front fascia, side skirts, Alcantara interior upholstery, a SportDesign steering wheel, Sport Seats, and 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels. This 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS Coupe is finished in Carrara White over a Black leather and Alcantara interior. It comes equipped with a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission sending power to all four wheels, optional PASM Sport Suspension, Sport Chrono Package Plus, heated front seats, a rear window wiper, Bose Surround Sound System, and PCM with navigation. The car was sold new in California at an original sticker price of over $121k and was registered in Nevada until the seller’s acquisition in late 2024. Showing approximately 92k miles on the odometer, this GTS is now being offered for auction out of California.
This Carrera 4 GTS features wider bodywork than a standard Carrera and is distinguished as a GTS variant by its SportDesign front fascia, side skirts, black lower rear valence, and model designation decals on the doors. Finished in Carrara White, it comes equipped with bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights connected by a model-specific reflector strip, an electric sunroof, heated power mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, quad exhaust tips, red brake calipers, and 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels in black. The seller notes that clear side marker lights have been installed, and a layer of older front-end paint protection film was removed upon their acquisition. A scrape is present on the front lip spoiler, a ding can be seen on the driver’s side quarter panel, small chips are noted around the exterior, and the tires show 2019 production date codes. The interior features black leather upholstery with Alcantara on the seat centers, door handles, armrests, and headliner. Accessories include heated Sport Seats, an Alcantara-wrapped SportDesign steering wheel with paddle shifters, aluminum-look trim pieces, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, an Alcantara parking brake handle, automatic climate control, cruise control, an onboard computer, Bose Surround Sound System, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with Navigation Module. Some minor wear is noted on the driver’s seat and steering wheel.
The GTS’s 3.8-liter flat-six engine features a special variable resonance intake manifold and a sport exhaust system, which allows it to produce up to 408 HP, an increase of 23 HP over the Carrera S. This example is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission sending power to all four wheels. With the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, it can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4 seconds. Other performance features include Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), Porsche Stability Management (PASM), 13” cross-drilled brake rotors with 4-piston calipers, and optional PASM Sport Suspension, which provides a 20mm lowered ride height. The seller notes that an 80k-mile service was performed in April 2023, and the engine oil and filter were changed in April 2025. The brake fluid and cabin air filter were recently replaced as well.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This vehicle was previously listed for auction on another platform, and the winning bidder did not follow through at no fault of the vehicle. The winning bidder was unreasonable regarding registration expectations, wanting to do registration in MT while not being a primary resident or primarily driving the vehicle in MT. It was settled that the winning bidder would pick up the vehicle and drive home with it, which is subject to CA tax, when a bill of sale was provided winning bidder decided that he did not want to purchase the vehicle any longer.”

We have record for the 20k service that we performed (brake fluid exchange, oil and filter change, pollen filter replacement) No physical records for what was done prior but per the carfax report the spark plugs and lots of other service items were done around 80k miles in late 2018.
Any available service records on major items such as recent plugs, water pump, PDK service and inspection. Any intake inspection by the dealership done and available? Any services its due for based of miles or known history? Thanks in advance.

Sales tax, registration, emissions requirements in CA can’t be that significant on this car, why in the world would anyone bother with the hassle/risk of trying to do the MT registration route? I get it on a super high end vehicle but I must be missing something………
@stockman if you try and do a MT LLC with a CA license you'll get the DMV showing up to your doorstep. They have been cracking down and using Ai to track license plates for a few years now. You are responsible for the costs of registering and taxes on your purchases. Out of state buyers are required to sign a Form 447/448. If you don't have a MT residence, MT DL, and don't ship the car to MT, CA will find a way to get you. Technology has closed that loophole.
@CJWRacing33 was it a Montana LLC issue because a lot of buyers from CA will consider that. I’m an interested bidder and that’s the route I would take if I were to win this car, so asking personally as well.
@stockman the client wanted to title the car to a state that he did not live in, and take delivery of the car somewhere else entirely. as an actual dealer, we are put under a lot of scrutiny by the DMV and when someone is flat out jeopardizing our dealer license we cannot participate in that type of a sale.
